La primera edición del Festival de Cine de La Spezia tuvo lugar en 2016, con el objetivo de crear y hacer crecer un festival que combine la investigación con la atención a los gustos del público, con la conciencia de que la participación cultural también produce repercusiones sociales y económicas, que constituyen un valor añadido para los territorios.
Organizada por Cut-up Publishing y Associazione Cinema e Cultura, con el patrocinio del Ayuntamiento de La Spezia, la dirección artística está a cargo de la directora Paola Settimini y del guionista Paolo Logli. El presidente del jurado es el profesor Roberto Danese de la Universidad de Urbino.
El Festival Nacional de Cine y Video Comunitario del Distrito de Aguablanca -
FESDA tiene como objetivos principales: generar un espacio que incentive y
fortalezca los procesos de creación audiovisual comunitario en Colombia así
como formar un público frente a la recepción de estas obras.
Entendemos el audiovisual comunitario como un proceso de realización audiovisual que se gesta de forma colectiva, a partir de procesos de capacitación o con las habilidades que las comunidades tienen para narrar con imagen y
sonido sus propias historias. Un ejercicio que apuesta por el empoderamiento de
las comunidades a partir del impulso de herramientas y habilidades comunicativas. Las piezas que surgen, aportan a la dinamización de procesos sociales, a la articulación de los tejidos comunitarios, a la pluralización de voces
y narrativas y a la incidencia dentro de las agendas políticas, sociales y culturales
de estas comunidades
1. Para el cumplimiento de estos objetivos el FESDA celebrará su 9ª Edición del 17
al 21 de Octubre de 2017. El tema que da sentido a esta edición es “Territorios,
revelando resistencias”2.

estas cualidades, sin desconocer que en cada territorio se desarrollan otras formas de pensar y ejercer el audiovisual comunitario.
2 El tema que nos convoca en este 9ª festival, surge con la intención de abonar a una reflexión sobre los procesos de resistencia que en nuestro país se están dando a propósito del cuidado y dignificación de los territorios. Partimos de la relación de cuerpo y territorio, y reivindicamos que en ese ejercicio de contar nuestros territorios (los que habitamos y los que nos obligaron a dejar) y las luchas que hay en ellos, estamos revelando resistencias.
El Municipio de Villa Constitución a través de su Dirección de Cultura, convoca a realizadores audiovisuales profesionales, estudiantes y aficionados con residencia en Argentina, a participar del concurso nacional de cortometrajes que se realizará en el marco del 16º Festival Cinematográfico “Visión Ribereña” en la ciudad de Villa Constitución, Santa Fe.
La fecha de realización del Festival está prevista para el mes de octubre de 2025, en fechas a confirmar.

Nuestro festival se inspira en el significado de la palabra «Meraki «y su relación con el proceso de creación de películas y guiones.
El término «Meraki «está reservado para proyectos que son una obra de amor que han sido fruto de la devoción absoluta durante el proceso de creación. Si has puesto tu corazón y tu alma en la creación de una película o guión, este es el Festival para que celebres tu éxito y trabajo duro.
Es un evento perfecto para mostrar su trabajo a un público apasionado del cine y «conocedor». La filosofía de nuestro festival es promover nuevas oportunidades para que las personas disfruten del cine donde se crea el cine. Mostrar películas que entretienen e iluminan al público, que transmiten la pasión que sus creadores han puesto en su trabajo a través de una pantalla grande.

We are looking for exceptional independent features and shorts in the categories of: Dark comedy, genre, dark sci-fi, cerebral and/or psychedelic horror, unusual documentary, music video, animation, or films that defy description (preferably with a WTF) from all over the world.
Since 2012, BUFF's primary screening venue has been the historic Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, MA. In addition to film screenings, BUFF hosts receptions and parties all over Harvard Square for attending filmmakers, industry guests, audience members, and media.

El Festival de Málaga, en colaboración con el Área de Igualdad de Oportunidades del Ayuntamiento de Málaga, persigue el objetivo de apoyar la presencia de las mujeres en la producción cinematográfica, creando espacios que visibilicen el trabajo de las mujeres en el campo audiovisual, ámbito profesional donde están subrepresentadas, tanto en la dirección, en la producción o en la realización de guiones; favoreciendo a la industria cinematográfica con las miradas diversas de mujeres.
Para el cumplimiento de este objetivo el Área de Igualdad de Oportunidades celebrará su “XXII MUESTRA DE CINE MUJERES EN ESCENA”, entre los meses de octubre y noviembre de 2024.
LA MUESTRA DE CINE MUJERES EN ESCENA, nace en el año 2002 con el objeto de debatir, a través de la celebración de cineforums, sobre las desigualdades de género existentes en nuestra sociedad así como en otras cercanas, reflexionar sobre las causas de las mismas y las posibles estrategias sociales, para erradicarlas.
Desde el año 2010 a este objetivo de visibilización y sensibilización se añade el de apoyar la presencia de las mujeres en la producción cinematográfica, ámbito en el que existe una gran brecha de género, aprovechando que cada día hay más mujeres interesadas en desarrollar su carrera profesional en este campo, por ello, uno de los propósitos de la SECCIÓN OFICIAL MUJERES EN ESCENA es la visibilización de producciones audiovisuales realizadas por mujeres, y se logra dedicando las sesiones de noche a la proyección en exclusiva de trabajos dirigidos, producidos o guionizados por mujeres.
1. Brain Film Fest.
Brain Film Fest (BFF) es un festival internacional de cine dedicado a mostrar e impulsar la creación y difusión de largometrajes y cortometrajes sobre cualquier aspecto del cerebro, desde sus increíbles capacidades y condiciones, a sus patologías. BFF está organizado conjuntamente por la Fundación Pasqual Maragall y Minimal Films. Además de un concurso cinematográfico, el BFF organizará a lo largo del festival, presencialmente y online, otros eventos sociales, culturales y/o científicos que tienen como tema central el cerebro.
La 9a edición de Brain Film Fest se celebrará del 11 al 15 de marzo de 2026.

El Festival Cortogenia, convoca el V“Concurso de cortometrajes LG”, en colaboración con LG.
Podrán participar personas mayores de edad de nacionalidad española y extranjeros residentes en España.
Con motivo del lanzamiento de nuevos modelos de televisores con la última tecnología LG OLED, que se caracterizan por ofrecer un negro perfecto y tan puro que nunca verás en un LED, en esta edición, el concurso estará centrado en cortometrajes del género de “cine negro”, entendiéndose como tal obras que giren en torno a hechos delictivos y criminales con un fuerte contenido expresivo y una característica estilización visual.
El Festival Internacional de Cine y Derechos Humanos - HUMANS FEST, desarrollado en València desde 2008, es una de las principales actividades impulsadas por Fundación por la Justicia. Este festival tiene como objetivo acercar la cultura audiovisual tanto al público general como a públicos especialmente vulnerables, así como promover la defensa de los derechos humanos y denunciar sus vulneraciones en todo el mundo.
La 16ª edición del HUMANS FEST se celebrará del 29 DE MAYO al 7 de JUNIO de 2025.
El Festival Internacional de Cine TRAVEL FILM reúne las mejores películas sobre viajes, actividades al aire libre, naturaleza y aventuras de todo el mundo, creadas tanto por profesionales como por aficionados, y ayuda a que lleguen al público de habla rusa.
Todas las mejores películas se proyectarán en la gran pantalla durante la solemne ceremonia final del 17 al 18 de febrero de 2024 en Moscú, Rusia, y podrán luchar por el premio principal y el título de «Mejor película de viajes». Así como por los premios de las nominaciones independientes.
ABYCINE – FESTIVAL Y MERCADO DE CINE INDEPENDIENTE DE ALBACETE tiene entre sus objetivos fundamentales la difusión y promoción de películas y cortometrajes de carácter independiente que, por una u otra razón, no disfrutan de distribución regular en los circuitos convencionales de exhibición.
El Festival trata de cubrir, en la medida de lo posible, este importante vacío. Asimismo, otro de sus propósitos, no menos relevante, es presentar una selección de películas que atiendan a las nuevas corrientes del cine joven contemporáneo, al fenómeno “indie” en el cine español y a la educación de la mirada de las nuevas generaciones de espectadores.
El festival ofrecerá un programa diverso, con películas de directores famosos, debutantes y estudiantes de animación de varios países, muchos de los cuales fueron premiados en numerosos festivales internacionales de animación.
El Festival Internacional de Cine de Animación «Tindirindis «no es un escenario cinematográfico comercial. La misión del festival: ofrecer la gama más amplia del mundo de la animación: los diferentes estilos, el trabajo de las escuelas, mostrar la animación que fomente la creatividad.
La animación artística, las retrospectivas de los autores, las películas que estimulan la creatividad. El festival 22 Years se celebra todos los años en Lituania y presenta las mejores obras de animación no comerciales de todo el mundo. Los programas de competición incluyen cortometrajes y largometrajes para niños, adultos, experimentales, estudiantiles, debuts y clips musicales. Desde 2018, nueva nominación: «Mejor Animadoc». Women in Film
Women play an important role in filmmaking and there are many talents out there and to celebrate Women in Film we have two categories. One programme is a focus solely on Women directors, the second programme category will focus the work of women practitioners in the roles of writers, actresses, producers and Directors of Cinematography but please note the film lead roles must be female led. If you have a film that has a strong female led role or strong female writer etc and you want to be considered for this sectin of the festival please submit to the Women Practitioners category. Film Directors should submit to the Women in Film (directors category).
General Information.
Established in 1995 the festival is now in it's 16th International Shorts edition. Kinofilm has a unique reputation for showcasing the best short films from around the world, whilst being renowned for seeking out diverse, challenging and groundbreaking new films. We welcome filmmakers that are pushing the boundaries of the short film art form. The festival maintains a high standard with many European & International award-winning shorts featured in the Festival. It includes special programmes in North West Shorts (UK), British New Wave, Euro Cine, International Panorama, Kino Exposed (student and youth shorts), low/no budget shorts, Animation and various themed programmes, giving new and emerging filmmakers the opportunity to have their work screened alongside that of critically acclaimed, established short filmmakers.
Please note for 2019, the festival will move dates to February 2020. We will further welcome short films and animations from Eastern Europe as we extend the Polish festival to include more Baltic countries. This year we welcome films for this section from Romania and Russia.
As part of out 16th anniversary we are introducing a features section called Transitions for those short filmmakers that have successfully made the transition from short film to feature. This section is for previous entrants of Kinofilm Festival and can only be entered if you have previously had a short film at Kinofilm Festival. You must provide the name of the short film and year of the festival it was screened in advance of submitting..
All short films should have been completed since January 2018 to present and be no longer than 20 mins (accept documentaries which can be up to 23 mins including credits). PLEASE NOTE FILMS SHOULD NOT BE ONLINE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. ANY FILMS THAT ARE SEEN TO BE IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN WILL FACE DISQUALIFICATION.
WE ARE OFFERING STUDENTS (world wide) , GREATER MANCHESTER FILMMAKERS, Youths and community groups, Eastern European Filmmakers and Alumni Filmmakers 20% OF ALL SUBMISSION FEES (please see offers at the top of this entry). The discount is automatically applied when you submit your film to the relevant sections, entry fees start at just $10.00 Please note PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY MUST BE SHOWN in all these categories in advance of submitting the film, you will then receive a code to submit your film.

Please note, if your film is selected for screening in one of the cinema screenings you must be able to provide either a DCP or high-quality Bluray of your film. Please contact us if any issues with this and we will try to resolve it by showing the film in one of the other programmes not requiring either of these formats. If it playing in one of our other venues then we will require a digital version, details supplied if your film is accepted.
REFUNDS GIVEN ONLY IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES: Please note if you make a genuine mistake and submit your film to us not realising that it does not fit all of the criteria, or you have to withdraw it for other reasons, we will refund your fee if the request is made only within the first two weeks from the date of submission. Films withdrawn later for other reasons such as you wish to withdraw it as your film has been accepted in another festival that requires premier status, will not receive a refund. (Please note that any refunds will be after FFW (8%) and PP (3.5%) commission fees already deducted from your fee, you will only be refunded the net amount that the festival receives).

ENTRETODOS 18 - Es un festival de entrada gratuita dedicado a la exhibición y premiación de cortometrajes, de hasta 25 minutos, de todos los géneros y formatos, que abordan temas relacionados con los Derechos Humanos.
El Festival tiene lugar en São Paulo. Producido por Prefeitura de São Paulo, Spcine y ESTATE Produções.

Urban Lens Film Festival | Bengaluru: 20 – 23 September 2018 | New Delhi: 16 – 18 November 2018
Cities have always been sites of socio-economic, political and cultural churning, and cinema has provided a space to understand and reflect upon these urban experiences. In keeping with its commitment to bringing out multiple, and sometimes contesting narratives that exist around the city, the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS) will host the 5th edition of the Urban Lens Film Festival in Bengaluru between 20th and 23rd September, 2018 and in New Delhi between 16th and 18th November, 2018 in association with the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan in both cities. As part of a travelling package, a selection of films will also be screened in Mumbai in association with the Godrej India Culture Lab. If your film speaks to the idea of the city and explores urban questions, please do send in your entry. Films of different genres are eligible to enter the festival – animation, non-fiction, short fiction/feature fiction, experimental and student films.

Please fill out the online form to submit the film to the festival. If an online preview screener is not available, please post two DVD copies to the address mentioned below. Please ensure it is marked “For cultural purposes only. No commercial value”
