The 24th Brooklyn Film Festival (BFF) will run at multiple venues in Brooklyn, NY and online from June 4 - 13, 2021.

Brooklyn Film Festival (BFF), is a 10-day International, competitive festival. Discovering and promoting independent filmmakers at their first or second film is at the very center of the festival's year-round efforts. BFF’s mission is to provide a public forum in Brooklyn in order to advance public interest in films and the independent production of films; to draw worldwide attention to Brooklyn as a center for cinema; to encourage the rights of all Brooklyn residents to access and experience the power of independent film-making; and to promote artistic excellence and the creative freedom of artists without censure. BFF, inc. is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

The festival is for and by independent filmmakers. The organizers of BFF bring 23 years of festival experience to this annual event. BFF accepts submissions in six categories: Narrative Features, Documentary Features, Short Narrative, Short Documentary, Experimental, and Animation. Submissions are open from June to March of the following year. The final selection of 150+ films is announced in May, and the festival takes place in June. All the films that make up our final lineup come from submissions only. Each selected film plays twice. They are all eligible for several awards and the smallest film can win the top award: Grand Chameleon. In addition to our film programs, BFF also hosts multiple filmmaker parties and networking events at venues in and around Brooklyn.

Many of the award-winning films from the Brooklyn Film Festival have gone on to have theatrical releases, to have nationwide broadcasts on PBS and HBO, and to be nominated and awarded at both the British and the American Academy Awards. BFF is also proud to be a Canadian Screen Award qualifying festival.

We are deeply grateful to each and everyone who has joined the communities of audiences of the festival from distant territories, thinking of them and them is that at least part of the program will be available on an online viewing platform, for access from Peru, Bolivia and Chile.

Made in Canary Islands Film Festival

Comarca Noreste de la isla de La Palma (Puntallana, Barlovento y San Andrés y Sauces), Spain

The cinema is more than alive in the Canary Islands, and more in the island of La Palma.

The Festival of Cinema made in the Canary Islands (#MadeInSecuencia27) is a festival that was born with the aim of promoting and disseminating audiovisual creation through sportsmanship and teamwork, both among fans and professionals, throughout the Canarian archipelago and arises as an initiative of the Cultural Association La Farola Films and its youth section known as the Infant and Youth School of Cinema "Sequence 27".

FECICA is celebrated between the municipalities of Puntallana, Barlovento and San Andrés y Sauces under a written and visual motto that changes in each edition.

with the image of the Punta Cumplida de Barlovento Lighthouse next to the Los Tilos Bridge of San Andrés y Sauces and the Monument to Salto del Enamorado de Puntallana.

The Festival has two competitive sections of the event: the 'General Section', which has short films shot throughout the Canary Islands and the 'Section 32 hours', in which filming takes place on site (between Puntallana, Windward and San Andrés and Sauces ), within the duration of the show itself, in just one and a half days, making this section the hardest cinematographic creation challenge in the Canary Islands. We also have the 'Media and Feature Films Section', a non-competitive section to promote the latest feature films and medium films made in the Canary Islands.

Thanks to this festival, which pursues the coexistence between participants, audience and young people of the Film School, more than the competition between them, the island of La Palma is already a "movie island", which has five festivals more audiovisuals (Festivalito, Tiempo Sur, TazaCortos and La Palma Anime Film Festival). All of them collaborate with this Film Show and are completed with other audiovisual contests throughout the island territory.

It is a festival in which the jury is the children and youth of the association, something unique in our country and that makes it different from other festivals. A festival open to everyone for everyone, without discrimination.

That is our festival. Welcome to the Festival of Cinema made in the Canary Islands SEQUENCE 27!

We, as Global Indian Film Festival, have a fundamental belief that cinema is beautiful and storytelling is diversely serene. We are at the end of the second decade of the 21st century and we believe that its time that new age experimental story tellers and artists are given their rightfully deserved audience. Our aim through this festival is to reignite the love for cinema which has somewhere been blurred due to the commerce of the trade. After all, DADASAHEB PHALKE did not make the first Indian film, RAJA HARISHCHANDRA with the purpose of earning money. Passion is what drives us, and we are looking to meet and celebrate passion through the medium of cinema.

Welcoming talented film makers from India across the Globe to showcase their narratives, short films, feature films, documentaries, animation, of any genre, any length, any medium of shooting, to come forth and submit your films. If your work has merit and you have passion, we have a platform for you. This festival is a platform to provide an open environment for directors, writers, actors, technicians, film appreciation enthusiasts and anyone who has a zest for cinema. Let’s network and talk about cinema and also let’s vow to bring another new wave through our work.

We will provide a platform for the winning films, showcase it on national television for our channel, which reaches to 17 million viewers from across the country.
