Colchester Film Festival is an international film festival taking place annually in Colchester (UK).
We showcase some of the best short and feature films from the UK and around the world as well as offering a programme of workshops, master classes and panel discussions from industry professionals for anyone wanting to learn more about filmmaking and the film industry.
Last year we received an amazing selection of short films from all around the world, from first time filmmakers to Oscar nominated short films.

Iphias International Film Festival (IIFF) is committed to showcasing films that will change lives and empower audiences. Die Esseoesse Cultural Association schreibt den Wettbewerb „CortoDino Film Festival Dino De Laurentiis 2025 - XV Edition“ aus, einen Wettbewerb, der aus dem Wunsch heraus entstanden ist, sich in seinem Heimatland an die Figur und das Werk von Dino De Laurentis zu erinnern und sie zu feiern, und zwar in gedenklicher und propositiver Hinsicht. Die Metropolstadt Neapel, die Gebiete des Vesuvs, die „Giorgio De Chirico's Secondary School of Art and Communication“, die anderen weiterführenden Schulen der Region und die wichtigsten Kulturverbände des Vesuvs und Kampaniens werden an der Veranstaltung zusammenarbeiten.
Das Hauptziel der Initiative besteht also darin, jungen Filmemachern, die in den Filmsektor einsteigen, in dem der Einfluss des berühmten „Torrese“ sicherlich erheblich war, Kontakte zu knüpfen, sie kennenzulernen und sie kennenzulernen, indem die Filmkultur durch die Inklusion benachteiligter Menschen und die Erforschung und Förderung von Werken von Talenten aus Kampanien sowie auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene gefördert wird.

Área de Contenção - Encontros Internacionais de Cinema Fantástico e de Horror do Cartaxo is a film festival happening in the city of Cartaxo, Portugal, from 6th to 8th of November.
This festival aims to promote the cultural and artistic values, namely, film and even encourage the taste for film and the arts in General, looking to study and discuss issues related to the theme of the fantastic and horror. The containment area still reserve a special audiovisual attention produced by Countries and Portuguese Expression Language and the region of Ribatejo.
This festival brings together the films in competition in various sections: feature film, short film, animation, documentary, music video, national, regional (where are included only films made in the region of Ribatejo) and student films.
In addition to a large selection of films in competition from the four corners of the world, the audience will have the opportunity to view, in Centro Cultural do Cartaxo, some of the great classics of Horror organized into retrospetivas and cycles.
Thinking about the younger audience, the containment area presents a very special section of short films of great for newer ones have the opportunity to participate in this festival.

The Charlie Chaplin Comedy Film Festival honours the pioneering spirit of a great film maker and advocate for social change.
We are delighted to be holding the fifth annual CCCFF in August 2015 in the beautiful village of Waterville on the Ring of Kerry in the South West of Ireland. CineBodega Film Fest is a 3 day event celebrating low budget, micro budget, no budget, alternative, underground, underserved and underrepresented filmmakers from all over the world who are overlooked by festivals. Our passion is to showcase filmmakers who's work doesn't necessarily fit in neat little boxes. We are open to all genres and project lengths (Features, Shorts, Music Videos and Web Series). There will be Screenings and discussions with Filmmakers as well as workshops, a special tribute, a Latino themed showcase and music performances. The Primitive Stage in Woodland Hills, CA will host the CineBodega Film Fest and just 20 min from Hollywood (but much farther away in spirit). Submissions are only $5 ($10 late submissions) and only online will be accepted. You can submit as many films as you like. We understand what a no budget filmmaker goes through.
Cinebodega also hosts monthly screenings. When submitting to the festival your entry will also be considered for one of our monthly film events.

Jetzt im 24. Jahr hat sich das internationale Kurzfilmfestival mit 24 fps den Ruf erworben, einige der einzigartigsten und herausforderndsten Ausstellungsprogramme auf dem Festivalkurs zu präsentieren.
Die Mission von 24 fps ist es, studentische und unabhängige Filmemacher zu feiern und zu ermutigen. Die öffentlichen Screening-Programme des Festivals sollen den Schöpfer genauso hervorheben wie die Arbeit selbst. Alle ausgestellten Filme werden von einem Kommentator vorgestellt, und anwesende Filmemacher haben die Möglichkeit, am Ende der Ausstellung ihres Films mit dem Festivalpublikum zu sprechen.
Die Filme werden als Teil drei kuratierte Programme ausgestellt. Alle Filme werden im Ausstellungsort des Festivals gezeigt, dem Wahrzeichen Paramount Theatre, das im US-amerikanischen Nationalen Register of Historic Places aufgeführt ist.

Das 14. Internationale Filmfestival FICCI-ON - Ciudad Rodrigo zielt darauf ab, pädagogische, soziale und spirituelle Filme zu fördern, die auf der ganzen Welt gedreht wurden.
Das Thema des Festivals wird daher pädagogisch, sozial und werteorientiert sein und all jene Filme einschließen, die die Entwicklung von Kindern in all ihren Aspekten fördern.
Werteorientierte Filme, die sich mit dem Thema Menschenrechte sowie dem interkulturellen Dialog befassen. Es wird auch Platz für Filme geben, die sich mit ethnografischen Themen, sozialer Denunziation oder Engagement für die Entwicklung einer Kultur des Friedens befassen. Was spirituelle Themen anbelangt, so ist dies ein sehr breiter Bereich, in den religiöse und/oder spirituelle Filme aufgenommen werden, unabhängig von der Konfession und dem Glauben des Films und seiner Autoren.

Since 2003 the international Festival SIGNES DE NUIT is active in Paris, Berlin, Saarbrücken, Bankok, Quito (Ecuador), Tucuman (Argentina) and now Urbino, as also with special screenings world wide. The festival in Paris actually presents some Hundrets films over the year coming from around 60 countries.
The Festival is searching films, which reflects new views, original imagery and critical approach to the crucial points of the modern human existence. It is a place for cinema that expands its own boundaries, that is astonishing, different, potentially free from the pressure of tradition, ready to give itself to the unpredictable experimentation.
The minor costs of digital production makes an independant- from comercial influences and any kind of censorship- production possible. These independant productions create an alternative, an artistic space very subtle and accessible to all, in contrast to what mass media offer.
This opposition and the preservation of the free cultural space is the goal of the International Festival Signes de Nuit, which has realized screenings and interventions in 23 different countries including Algeria, Australia, Chile, Cuba, Lebanon, Lithuania, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Peru, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey and the United States beside the screenings in main festival in Paris.
FARO 1540 - Verband zur Verteidigung und Förderung des Umwelt- und Kulturerbes von Faro organisiert nach dem Erfolg der letzten Ausgaben von FARCUME - Internationales Kurzfilmfestival von Faro die 11. Ausgabe dieses Festivals, das vom 26. bis 28. September 2025 in der Stadt Faro stattfinden wird.
Diese 15. Ausgabe von FARCUME beabsichtigt, Werke im Bereich Kurzfilme mit einer Länge von bis zu 18 Minuten auszustellen und zu bewerben, die in drei Kategorien unterteilt sind: Animation, Dokumentarfilm und Fiktion.
An diesem Festival können alle in- und ausländischen Bürger einzeln oder in Gruppen teilnehmen, indem sie einfach die Bestimmungen der Verordnung einhalten, ein Anmeldeformular ausfüllen und ihre Werke bis zum 11. Juli 2025, vorbehaltlich der Vorauswahl, an die Organisation senden.
Der Hauptzweck dieses Festivals bleibt derselbe: neue Talente bekannt zu machen und zu fördern sowie die hervorragende Arbeit, die in diesem Bereich geleistet wurde, aber nicht immer die gewünschte und verdiente Förderung findet, in der Öffentlichkeit bekannt zu machen.
Mit anderen Worten, FARCUME beabsichtigt, in einem informellen Umfeld, guter Laune und einer entspannten Atmosphäre das Engagement, die Hingabe, die Kreativität und die Verdienste von Regisseuren, Schauspielern und technischen Teams zu belohnen und anzuerkennen, die mit bescheidenen Mitteln Werke von hoher Qualität entwickeln können.
Angesichts der Prinzipien und Ziele von „FARO 1540“, das sogar den Status einer Nichtregierungsorganisation (Non Governmental Environmental Organization) hat, wird das Festival auch weiterhin ein starkes Umweltbewusstsein und Sensibilität walten lassen und die Teilnehmer davor warnen, Kurzfilme zu zeigen, in denen Missachtung der Umwelt, Ungleichheit der Menschenrechte oder Tiermissbrauch behauptet oder gefördert wird. Es wird ein Umweltmanagementplan weiterentwickelt, der speziell für diese Veranstaltung „entworfen“ wurde, um die Optimierung der Ressourcen sicherzustellen, die für die Förderung und Durchführung der Veranstaltung und die Entsorgung der anfallenden Abfälle benötigt werden.
