Madrid SOS RACISM 2018 edition announces the contest Short Equal Rights and Against Racism.

Any person can participate in this contest regardless of nationality, sex, origin, legal status, etc.

The theme of the short should be linked to the promotion of multiculturalism, immigration, and the fight against racism and xenophobia.

Of all the short films received, the SOS Racism Madrid jury will select works that will be screened publicly between 19th-25th March 2018.

The deadline for receipt of entries is until January 10, 2018, inclusive. Competition rules In the section you will find all the information necessary for participation. You can also contact us for any query writing jornadas@sosracismomadrid.es

– Audience Award (decided by the audience)

– Honorary mention (awarded by the jury)

Partcipating filmmakers may submit up to 3 films. The festival accepts animation, documentary and fiction films. Submitted films cannot be longer than 30 minutes.

All films produced in a language other than Spanish must be subtitled into Spanish.
