SANFICI is a space to generate meetings at different levels, with an overcoming and innovative will. First of all, it is a space for the relationship between spectators, filmmakers and theorists around cinema and all border and heterodox manifestations. Secondly, it is a special and temporary meeting point.
SANFICI wants to become, year after year, the place of convergence for world independent cinema. But it also wants to be the space where the past and the future dialogue. The place where the most diverse film traditions are embraced with their riskiest proposals.

FEMCINE was created to discover and support the work done by female filmmakers and to share films with gender-based subjects with a broader audience. FEMCINE invites female directors from Chile and the rest of the world to participate in one of its three competition categories: International Feature Length Competition, International Short Film Competition, and the Chilean Film School Short Film Competition.
The Festival is being organized by the management of City Montessori School in Lucknow, India.
The Festival aims at providing a common platform for the producers of Children films to project their views for proper development of children’s potential through meaningful educative films; and also for promoting friendship and co- operation among people of the world.
From CINESPACIO we want to focus this edition of the festival on those works that have focused on the migratory conditions and their relationship with audiovisual forms of production. In a world where borders are constantly built and imaginary lines are drawn to violate identities - as well as create them -, it is necessary for the audiovisual sector to think about his role in the modes of implementation and in the themes represented.
We propose to interpret the border as a space where transnational identities are born and get in conflict; a space where new networks and emotional communities are generated and are in perpetual movement; a space where they face the challenges of individual recognition and community belonging. If the border is what delimits who we are, crossing borders involves, then, the challenge of being someone else and knowing how to be someone else through rapprochement and touch, bearing in mind that the content at the borders, being touched by the external, will not be the same again.

1. OBJECTIVES
The objectives of Festival de Malaga are to disseminate and promote Spanish films and their general cultural sphere. In this sense, the Festival is also a platform for Latin American film productions. Its functions include hosting an event for the different professional sectors of films in Spanish (construed as films produced in Spain and all of Latin America, including Brazil) to boost their development and promote international sales.
In compliance with these objectives, the 28th Edition of Festival de Málaga will be held from 14th to 23rd March 2025.
ASSERTING WOMEN'S RIGHTS is a project that has emerged from Festival de Málaga, Mabel Lozano (documentary filmmaker and collaborator of the Festival), and the Equal Opportunities Area of Malaga City Council as a protest tool. This section is created with the aim of exploring and dealing with issues that contribute to social awareness of women's rights each year.
This section of Festival de Málaga was born in 2008, this being its 18th edition. The project is conceived with a double purpose: to inform about the injustices that women still suffer in this century for the mere fact of being women, and to encourage and support the cinematographic work created by women.
