ANTOFACINE, the Antofagasta International Film Festival, is a gathering instance for national and international filmmakers; based on this premise we would like to contribute to:
● Promoting fiction, nonfiction and animations films as tools for cultural and social transformation and to benefit all of Antofagasta Region residents.
● Fostering the development of audiovisual projects in the region and country, supporting the creation of a professional space in order to promote local, national and international audiovisual works; contributing to audience formation and generating a gathering point in Antofagasta for the necessary interaction of all relevant agents of the audiovisual industry.
The 12 version of the Antofagasta International Film Festival, ANTOFACINE 2023 will be held from November 14 to 18, in the city of Antofagasta and other places of the region.
The purpose of the ZOOM FESTIVAL is to disseminate and promote audiovisual content regardless of format, distribution channel and audiences.
The Official Section of the 21st edition is open to all producers, televisions, students, independent film makers from all over the world who present audiovisual content for all types of screens and that fit the bases of the Festival's official section.
Among the functions of the Festival is the welcoming meeting of the various professional sectors of the audiovisual industry, as well as that of students in the sector and be a platform for new talent.
In order to fulfill these objectives, the Zoom Festival will celebrate its 25th Edition in November 25th 2023 in Igualada- Barcelona.
Send your short film online with a maximum duration of 15 minutes.
Photographs must not weigh more than 4 Mb in jpg format. The size will be at least 1,600 pixels wide. The file format will be quality JPEG (10).
It does not matter if you have participated in previous events.

Short films and photographs may be posted on the web from May 1, 2018 to November 30, 2018 at 23:59.
It should not focus on any particular product or refer to any specific product prescription, nor promote specific treatments or use the image of a commercial drug (name, logo, box, etc.).
IF YOU ARE A PHYSICIAN OR PHARMACIST, you will compete for the best short film and photography among your colleagues, and if you win, you will decide which NGO, patient association or health-related foundation is the recipient of the award. You can also exchange it for assistance to a national congress. Always according to the code that marks the USD (Unit of deontological supervision).

Public voting: only validated email votes will be counted. Any suspicious behavior such as use of temporary email service, strange email patterns, suspicious emails or many votes from the same IP address, will automatically disqualify the work in competition.

Media affirmation association “MAT” (in further text: The Association) is non-governmental and non-profit voluntary association, founded for an indefinite period of time due to media affirmation of all social segments via audio-video material making, press articles and web presentation making. One of the aims of the Association is the organization of festivals which, due to their content, contribute the development of culture. From 2016. one of the organized festivals is International festival of short movies, called “Short cut”.
The Association for Media Affirmation "Mat" from Indjija, has announced a competition for the eighth edition of the International Short Film and photographs Festival "Short cut" Indjija 2023. Short feature, documentary and animated films are shown at the festival. The festival is open to films by domestic authors, as well as to authors from all over the world. The topics of the films should be in the field of: ecology, tourism and life. The public call for authors of short films lasts from May 1 to 20, 2023. Received films are reviewed by a selection committee that will not consider films that contain offensive or aggressive messages or content.
The International Short Film and Photography Festival "Short cut" Indjija will be held on August 25, 2023. The festival screens short feature, documentary and animated films on the theme of ecology, tourism and life. The festival is open not only for the movies made by native authors, but also for the authors from all over the world. The following program consists of the photography exhibition (the theme is “Objective(s)”),which is a competitive nature this year too, and will be realized from August 25 to September 6, 2023.
COMPETITION FOR PHOTOGRAPHY
The Short Cut Festival organizers organize an exhibition of photographs titled “Objective(s)” in the accompanying program, inviting all interested people to participate in the exhibition, photographs with personal information and contact send on shortcutfest @ gmail.com with an indication for a photo contest “Short cut”, from 1 to 31 May 2023. Photo authors for the competition can send a maximum of 10 photos, the size of the longer page of acceptable digital photos cannot be less than 3,000 pixels, the file type can only be jpg, ie. jpeg and the maximum file size must not exceed 20MB.
An exhibition of selected photographs for the competition will be held from August 25. to September 6., 2023.
CURT’ARRUDA - Arruda dos Vinhos Annual Film Festival aims to present national and foreign cinema, stimulating film production through the attribution of awards for best rural short film and the best short film from Arruda dos Vinhos.

EBROCORTO, the international festival of musical short films, will celebrate its sixth edition in 2023 in Miranda de Ebro.
The Festival offers, through the selected works, a different way of enjoying music. In addition to the screening of the finalist short films included in the Official Selection, various parallel activities will take place throughout the dates of this edition, aiming to showcase the versatility of music and its limitless capacity to influence multiple aspects of life.
The central theme of each work must be music in all of its ramifications. It can be any type of music or any discipline in which music plays a fundamental role or, barring that, any work in which music is a notable element of the narration.
EBROCORTO is a film competition organized by the Asociación Amigos de Rafael Izquierdo and has the collaboration and sponsorship of the City Council of Miranda de Ebro.
The International Film Festival of Leon IFFOL, invites all filmmakers to participate in the IFFOL Official Call 2024 from April 1 to August 05 of this year, being able to apply with fiction, non-fiction or animation feature film, short film or short documentary to be part of the 10th Consecutive Edition to be held between October 30 to November 03 of this year. Those selected may be part of the three competitive sections of the festival: International Talent, Local Talent and University Talent.

Cinefest Gato Preto ("Black Cat") is a short-film festival for Brazilians film makers.
We will have a specific focus, trying to give attencion to all areas in cinema: art direction, sound design, editing, scrict, direction, acting, photography and production.
The nineth La Serena International Film Festival, FECILS, is a competitive audiovisual contest, which will take place from November 8 to 11, 2023, in the Coquimbo region. It seeks to support the production and dissemination of regional, national and Latin American audiovisual activity, and thus contribute to decentralization, promoting the meeting and training of regional filmmakers and producers. With these actions, FECILS seeks to establish itself as a cultural event that, in addition to generating film exhibition spaces in the Coquimbo region, applies its emphasis on generating new audiences. FECILS 2023 has an audiovisual extension program that will reach the different spaces of the communes of the region.
Live Entertainment, LLC, Russia in co-operation with EVENT FILM, Canada proudly present an annual festival event – International Horror, Action and Fantastic Film Festival & Awards "DROP".
The festival is being annually held in the city of Moscow since the year 2011 and contains 4 events:
- opening screening
- closing awards ceremony
- master-class and Q&A with movie stars
- film festival competition program screenings in cinema theatres
The Awards ceremony takes place in a big concert venue (changing every year) and consists of the show program and the ceremony of granting awards which is divided into the following jury voting categories:

The festival program is a week non-stop screening of new movies in several Moscow cinema theatres. The films-participants of the competition program are being selected by the festival’s jury. Submissions are being analysed and accepted by the festival's organization committee during the whole year.
The festival's schedule usually also contains a pre-party and an after-party arranged for the honored guests and winners.
The TV version of the festival is televised by Tricolor TV platform.
The festival specializes in all sub-genres of horror and action film industry, i.e.: cartoon horror, comedy horror, psychological thriller, trash horror, zombie horror, giallo, slasher, suspense, detective, action, fantasy, sci-fi etc. Starting from the year 2013 the festival also specializes in survival horror video games sphere.

The International Festival of Children and Youth Film CALIBELULA, FICIJCALIBELULA - is created through a group of friends who love cinema, who see the need to generate new exhibition and training spaces, for a very special audience that is children and young people .
The purpose is to train audiences through cinematographic audiovisual material made by and for children, youth and adults that promotes conflict resolution and peaceful coexistence through the construction of values and principles.
Generate new exhibition alternatives that consolidate processes of formation and creation expressed in the production and audiovisual realization, with understanding and critical sensitivity, trying with this to involve from an early age this target population through the cinema as an artistic expression.
This Festival is a meeting place for the filmmakers, their works and the children's audience as well as a point of formation for young audiences, teachers and professionals of the area, making the Festival a promoter of reflection on the audiovisual media and the role they play with our children.
