FICFUSA is a film festival and community-based cultural process with thirteen (13) years of experience. Through its Women and Territory approach, the festival understands cinema as a space for gathering, creation, reflection, and social transformation.
Based in Fusagasugá, in the Sumapaz region of Colombia, FICFUSA works to promote cultural decentralization, access to cinema as a cultural right, and the strengthening of social bonds through audiovisual storytelling.
For its 2026 edition, FICFUSA invites filmmakers to submit their works to the following festival categories:
1. Stories of Women – International Feature Films
2. Made by Colombian Women – Short Films directed by women (Colombia)
3. A Short Made Here – Short Films from Cundinamarca (Colombia)
4. A Story Made in the Regions – Short Films from Colombian regions (Colombia)
The main festival event will take place in Fusagasugá from November 11th to 16th, 2026.
The Ponferrada International Film Festival is an event specialized in the dissemination and promotion of short films from all over the world, regardless of their production format, distribution, exhibition, category, genre, or theme.
Short films, in addition to being a learning resource for new professionals in the film industry and a promotional tool for making the leap to feature films, can also be a highly creative and free form of expression, storytelling, and experimentation, independent of the market.
We are also committed to highlighting films that, regardless of their length, reflect the cultural, social, and linguistic diversity of any region of the world as part of the memory of peoples and the most unknown universal audiovisual heritag
FIC Multifest is an international film festival organized by Grupo Cortos Verdes Internacional, based in Guadalajara, one of the most important film production hubs in Latin America.
The festival was born with the mission of promoting and showcasing short films, feature films, documentaries, and new forms of storytelling, including those created with the support of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
FIC Multifest is a meeting point for innovative creators—a space that celebrates both the art and the technological evolution of contemporary cinema.
More than just a festival, Multifest has become a platform for visibility, education, and distribution of local, national, and international audiovisual works, expanding its impact through digital media, social networks, and alternative exhibition channels.
The festival positions itself as a meeting point for emerging creators, established filmmakers, allied festivals, and an audience eager for innovative content. A space where cinema is shared, evolves, and projects itself into the future.
Fiaticorti was born in 2000 through the initiative of a group of young people from the Youth Project of the Municipality of Istrana (Treviso).
The year the event was founded is no coincidence: the early years of the new millennium saw the rise of the digital camera, an innovation that made it possible to create and edit videos at home, but also marked the steady decline of VHS tapes, as evidenced by some of the short films submitted in this format during the festival's inaugural edition.
The name chosen for the event stems from two explanations: on one hand, "fiato corto" (short breath) is the result of brief physical exertion (just as short films are brief); on the other hand, a film with a maximum duration of 20 minutes can convey powerful emotions to the audience, leaving them "breathless."
Twenty-seven works from all over Italy participated in the first edition, a number destined to grow steadily yet rapidly: within four years, the festival reached 150 films per edition. As the number of competing short films increased, so did their quality and, consequently, the interest of audiences passionate about the genre.
Initially, Fiaticorti was condensed into a single evening dedicated to the awards ceremony; however, starting from the fourth edition, the format was enriched, expanding the festival across four stages during which the best competing works were screened.
In 2006, the FiatiVeneti section was introduced to reward short films by filmmakers from the Veneto region.
In 2010, the festival's tenth anniversary, the Fiaticorti archive was inaugurated at the Istrana Youth Center, housing a collection of over a thousand works that had participated in the festival over the years.
2011 was the year when historical artistic director Gianni Billio passed the baton to Bartolo Ayroldi Sagarriga (artistic director), Andrea Grespan, and Simone Perotto. It was also a turning-point edition: the festival saw remarkable quality in the competing films and a significant increase in foreign participants—primarily from France, Great Britain, Romania, and Spain—elevating the event to an increasingly international level.
Starting in 2026, the Municipality of Istrana entrusted the artistic direction of the 24th edition to Andrea Grespan, who had already played a leading role in organizing the festival in previous editions, alongside Sara Ricciardi and Livio Meo, representatives of Cineforum Labirinto, an association with extensive experience in organizing cinematic events in the province of Treviso.
We welcome all forms of film production – feature, narrative, documentary, short films, animation, video art, experimental and student. Keep in mind, IFFP is a non-competitive celebration of cinema, making sure our officially selected program has a perfect screening quality, while the filmmakers and guests enjoy the festival, free from industry stress and complicated press or PR agendas. In other words, great films, summer skies, a selection of events, and networking at their best!
