O décimo primeiro Festival Internacional de Cinema La Serena (FECILS) é um evento audiovisual competitivo que acontecerá de 22 a 25 de outubro de 2025, na região de Coquimbo. Busca apoiar a produção e disseminação de atividades audiovisuais regionais, nacionais e latino-americanas, contribuindo assim para a descentralização, promovendo o intercâmbio e o treinamento de cineastas e produtores regionais. Por meio dessas ações, a FECILS busca se estabelecer como um evento cultural que, além de gerar espaços de exibição de filmes na região de Coquimbo, se concentra na geração de novos públicos. O FECILS 2025 apresenta um programa de divulgação audiovisual que alcançará vários locais nas comunas da região.
O principal objetivo de La mida no Importa-size Doesn't Matter é promover a produção e a cultura de curtas-metragens.
Às vezes, somos avisados de que, se “o tamanho não importa”, teríamos que selecionar e exibir obras audiovisuais sem limite de duração, e talvez elas não estejam erradas. No entanto, gostamos de pensar que as coisas não precisam ser grandes demais para serem importantes, bonitas, necessárias ou decisivas, e essa é a filosofia que aplicamos desde quase a primeira edição deste Festival.
Nós reivindicamos os trabalhos de curta duração porque acreditamos que é possível descobrir a engenhosidade concentrada em um curto espaço de tempo. Esse objetivo é a razão que nos move e nos leva a continuar pesquisando e vasculhando as propostas que chegam até nós para fazer uma seleção de temas, tipologias e gêneros bem diferentes para mostrar o leque de possibilidades expressivas do conto.

O Festival Internacional de Cinema de Leon IFFOL convida todos os cineastas a participarem da Chamada Oficial do IFFOL 2024 de 1º de abril a 05 de agosto deste ano, podendo se inscrever com longa-metragem de ficção, não ficção ou animação, curta-metragem ou documentário curto para fazer parte da 10ª edição consecutiva a ser realizada entre 30 de outubro e 03 de novembro deste ano. Os selecionados podem fazer parte das três seções competitivas do festival: Talento Internacional, Talento Local e Talento Universitário.
Qualquer obra ibero-americana pode participar das categorias Longa-Metragem de Ficção, Longa-Metragem Documental e Curta-Metragem, e qualquer obra nacional pode participar das categorias “Competição Nacional de Longa-Metragem” e “Miradas al Territorio”. Todos os trabalhos devem ser considerados como NÃO tendo participado da Competição FICVIÑA antes das versões 2023 e 2024.
Espacio Queer is established as a cultural space guided by the queer theory. It’s a place for debate, reflection and artistic expresion to developes open activities about sexual diversity and gender.
Our search focuses on finding and promoting artistic works that expose a queer point of view which doesn’t establish stereotypes but opens for analysis and reflection. A view where to be a lesbian, bisexual, gay, transexual or intersexual is not a pose, fashion or, still less, a label, but an identity built up constantly wihout static or normaive parameters.
Located in La Plata city, this festival includes proyections of feature-films and short-films, official copetetion and showcase sections, debates, workshops, visual arts exhibitions and live music. In its 3rd edition, Espacio Queer will take place on November of this year.

Since its creation in 2007, Île Courts–International Short Film Festival in Mauritius acts as a tool-kit for the development of cinema in Mauritius. Non-competitive, Île Courts Festival is meant to be a showcase for cinema in Mauritius, taking us to a surprizing journey into world cinema, with a focus given on short films from the Indian Ocean area, at a crossroad between Africa and Asia. In 2018, Île Courts invites french-speaking and creole-speaking Filmmakers from the Caribbean and Pacific Islands to submit their films to the festival, therefore 36 territories are concerned by our call for films. The 11th edition of Île Courts-International Short Film Festival in Mauritius will be held by Association Porteurs d'Images from 9th to 13th October 2018, in various cities and villages throughout the island.

Iron Mule é a única série mensal de comédia curta de Nova Iorque, narrativa, documental, comédias animados e experimentais de todo o mundo. Taratsa is an independent international short film festival based in Thessaloniki, Greece. It began in August 2014, integrated in the framework of “Thessaloniki European Youth Capital”. Its purpose is to create a framework for the promotion of independent short films from Greece and all over the world -by bringing the audience closer to the production and establishing a place and time for the substantial interaction and artistic expression between the creators- as well as to present films that are considered benchmarks in the history of cinema.
HorrorQuest Film Festival is Atlanta's FREE Horror Film Festival. Held each year at Cinefest Film Theatre, located on the Georgia State University campus. All HorrorQuest screenings and events are free and open to the public on a first come, first served, basis. There are no advanced or VIP tickets.
