HISTORY:
«BRIDGES» INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL was established in 2008 in the framework of celebrations of 150 years of the foundation of Corinth. It was held Under the Auspices of Ministry of Transport and Communications in Greece and was organized in cooperation with the Cultural Centre of Corinth. It was greeted by the Minister of Transport and Communication, the Mayor of Corinth, the President of the Cultural Centre and the Prefect of Peloponnesus
The program, apart from the screenings of the Panorama, Competition and other sections included also the screening of a selection of short films by Cine Fantom, especially chosen for Peloponnesian Corinthian International Film Festival. «The main Club in Moscow» – this is how the press refers to CINE FANTOM. This is, however, no wonder for the club with the 20 years history. CINE FANTOM Club has been holding screenings every Wednesday for many years, regardless of weather and political conditions. For many years on, the club has managed to stick to such a weekly format. CINE FANTOM, however has also its own festival, SELECTION, a unique event which aims at promotion and development of young cinema.
The 2nd edition of the festival took place in 2011. On 2009 and 2010 it was cancelled due to national elections that occurred the same period. The opening of the 2nd festival was scheduled on October 14th 2009 with the presence and a live concert by the famous actor of Hollywood, Kevin Costner with his music band Modern West! Unfortunately, the national elections were announced on the 6th of September to be held on the 10th of October and the festival was cancelled. Within the framework of its annual organization Bridges International Film Festival, carries on its close partnership with local authorities and other organizations, willing to provide to such an important aspect of our lives, culture, which is weakened through these hard times we are going through. During the same event, excursions to archeological sites, cruises in Canal of Isthmus and a film poster exhibition took place.
PROGRAMME:
In order to be able to accommodate the needs of the vast number of cinephiles and cinemagoers of Greece, which has proved to be big and varied during past organizations, this year`s festival edition has created Special theme screenings as the «World Cinema – Bridges» section. As the BRIDGES International Film festival concurs often with the International Day of People with Disability, a part of our screenings is dedicated to films about human disabilities, under the symbolic title «We can do». Furthermore, the audience will have the unique opportunity to watch films by upcoming filmmakers premiering in the festival. Some of the most outstanding feature films created recently are going to compete for the festival`s Grand Prize «Golden Pegasus», which is going to be given to the film indicated by an internationally acclaimed Jury of cinema professionals.

Directed by Women Spain is a film viewing celebration of films directed by women in Spain.
Our celebration is part of the International movement Directed by Women, that for the past 9 years has been dedicated to promote and give visibility to films directed by Women.
Cineteca of Madrid and the CICUS of Seville are hosting the tenth edition with a complete program of short film sessions, feature films, unseen documentaries, sessions for young audiences and children. Filmmakers will be invited to present their pieces to the public and to participate in a Q&A.
There will also be debates, professional gatherings, workshops and a lot of celebration!

History: The festival was inaugurated on March 23, 2006 by the Cypriot Minister of Education and Culture Mr Pefkios Georgiades and was held in three cities, Larnaca, Limassol and Nicosia with the cooperation of K-Cineplex.
The Cyprus International Film Festival is the biggest of artistic high value independent cinema event of the whole region, spilling over Cyprus boundaries and spreading over the whole region with repercussions reaching worldwide. CYIFF is the first internationally oriented film festival which offers new and upcoming directors in multiple sectors of entertainment (such as feature films, short films, animations, music videos, dance, experimental films and video art) the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of a jury of internationally acclaimed cinema experts, directors and actors. CYIFF has a competitive section.
Films produced the last 36 months, by emerging directors are selected for the screening program.
-Women filmmakers (director and/or producer) can submit their film to compete for the Aphrodite Cinematic Award. There is no restriction regarding the production year, the genre of the film in this specific category.
-"50/50" is a category with film credits 50% men and 50% women. No restriction in genre.

Das Filmfestival „Seize the Film“ konzentriert sich auf Projektionen von Filmen zum Thema Behinderung/mindestens ein Schauspieler ist behinderter Mensch und es gibt Ausgaben in Novi Sad (Serbien), Rijeka (Kroatien) und Kotor (Montenegro).
Neben Vorführungen von Filmen zum Thema Behinderung bietet das Festival auch Begleitprogramme und Postproduktionen an - Film Caravan, das Vorführungen in kulturellen Räumen, Schulen und anderen Festivals umfasst, und „Seize the film Kids“ - Vorführungen von Filmen, die für Kinder im Alter von 7 bis 12 Jahren geeignet sind (in Serbien).
The Festival de Cine Comprometido de Guadalajara (FESCIGU) celebrates its 23rd edition this year at its (exile) headquarters in Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara, Spain). Over the years, we have strived to bring our audiences the best in the world of short films, with social, activist, or simply humanistic content. All genres are welcome, as long as they do not condone violence. FESCIGU is a pre-selection festival for the Goya Awards. This year, the central theme is PEACE, so short films that address this topic will be especially welcome.

The Òmnium Film Festival is an annual program that recognizes and promotes the best audiovisual productions in Catalan, offering audiences the finest Catalan-language cinema of the year with the aim of encouraging greater consumption of films in Catalan.
The festival takes place simultaneously with more than 160 screenings in 90 venues across the Catalan-speaking territories, as well as screenings in 35 cities around the world.

FIC BESCHREIBUNG
ORGANISIERUNG:
Seit seiner Gründung wird das Festival von der ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE von BELLA VISTA organisiert, mit Unterstützung von INCAA (NATIONAL INSTITUT OF CINEMA UND ADIOVISUAL ARTS), unter der Schirmherrschaft der kommunalen Regierung von SAN MIGUEL, die die FIC KOMMISSION (12 Institutionen) durch ihre Bildung koordiniert und KULTUR Büros; die Botschaft Frankreichs, das INSTITUT FRANÇAIS und die ALLGEMEINE Delegation der FRANZÖSISCHEN ALLIANCE Stiftung in Argentinien. Seit 2014 beteiligt sich die Handelskammer und Industrie von SAN MIGUEL aktiv an der Organisation des FIC. Viele Bildungs- und Kulturinstitutionen der Region öffnen der FIC ihre Türen, um als Vorführstätte für ein wachsendes Publikum zu dienen. Die FIC wurde von der ehrenhaften argentinischen Abgeordnetenkammer in zwei seiner Ausgaben von nationalem Interesse erklärt. Der FIC wurde auch seit seiner ersten Ausgabe zum MUNICIPAL INTERSES erklärt. Ab 2015 ist Telefé auch im Festival präsent, und ab 2016 erhält das Festival auch die Zusammenarbeit von ASAEC (Argentine Association of Film and Audiovisual Studies) und der UNIVERSIDAD ABIERTA INTERAMERICANA. Im Jahr 2017 erhielt es auch die Unterstützung des Ibero-Amerikanischen Universities Network für die Entwicklung des audiovisuellen Bereichs im UNASUR-Bereich (REDAU).

ZIELE UND MERKMALE:
Das INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL FIC ist eine große Veranstaltung, die jährlich in BELLA VISTA und SAN MIGUEL stattfindet, um einen Raum der Interaktion zwischen nationalen und ausländischen Filmemachern zu bieten, junge Talente der siebten Kunst auf der ganzen Welt zu erkennen, neue Erfahrungen der Öffentlichkeit zu bringen, um Hommage an die Ursprünge von Filmemachen und durch die ESMI (SAN MIGUEL FILM STUDIOS) Trophäe an die großen Studios in Bella Vista erinnern, in denen die wichtigsten Produktionen und Koproduktionen Lateinamerikas jener Zeit entwickelt wurden.
Während des Festivals können die Besucher die kostenlosen Vorführungen für jede Art von Publikum (Erwachsene, Jugendliche und Kinder) sowie Vorträge, Debatten, Ausstellungen und Workshops in
die verschiedenen Screening, die jedes Jahr von der Organisation des Festivals ernannt werden.
Neben dem ESMI-Wettbewerb, an dem Filmemacher aus aller Welt teilnehmen, fördert die FIC die audiovisuelle Produktion in Bildungseinrichtungen durch ihren CORTITOS Wettbewerb für Jugendliche.
Das Galadinner des FIC vereint die Finalisten und Gewinner des ESMI-Wettbewerbs und besondere Gäste sowie die Gewinner des CORTITOS Wettbewerbs in einer eleganten und warmen Umgebung, die speziell für die Filmkunst entwickelt wurde.

GESCHICHTE des FIC:
Das INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL FIC wurde 2009 von der ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE von BELLA VISTA mit Unterstützung der INCAA, der französischen Botschaft und der Stadtregierung von San Miguel gegründet. Die FIC fand zum ersten Mal vom 10. bis 24. April 2010 statt. Die UNIVERSITY OF CINEMA, AIR FRANCE, PERNOD RICARD, Buenos Aires Golf Club und die UNIVERSITY OF GENERAL SARMIENTO unterstützten auch das Festival in dieser ersten Ausgabe. Es wurde erfolgreich in sechs Veranstaltungsorten veranstaltet, die für diesen Zweck geöffnet wurden, und im Award Gala Dinner, das das große Finale der ersten internationalen Präsentation eines Festivals war, das für die Öffnung der Welt konzipiert wurde.
Im Jahr 2016 erhielt die FIC die Unterstützung von ASAECA. Es wuchs Jahr für Jahr ohne Unterbrechung.Die nationale und internationale Reichweite des Festivals nahm weiter zu, und 2017 nahmen talentierte Filmemacher aus 80 verschiedenen Ländern teil, durch mehr als 1237 Filme, die sich durch Originalität und Qualität auszeichneten.
18 Veranstaltungsorte bot 40 Sitzungen an, um die gesamte offizielle Auswahl von 2017 beider Wettbewerbe des Festivals zu präsentieren.
Ein weiteres wichtiges Merkmal des Festivals ist das Angebot verwandter Aktivitäten: Vorträge, Debatten und eine Ausstellung, die von lokalen Künstlern zu Ehren der Filme auf der ganzen Welt geschaffen wurde. Das Gala Award Dinner hat erneut in der Industrie- und Handelskammer von San Miguel in einer ausgezeichneten Präsentation der Universidad Abierta Interamericana und Telefé gehalten, die 2015 und 2016 jeweils teilnehmen. Beim Galadinner wurden nominierte Filmemacher aus Argentinien und aus der Welt geehrt, zusammen mit Behörden und wichtigen Persönlichkeiten. Darüber hinaus, die UAI, zusammen mit der REDAU, während einer speziellen Auszeichnung für narrative Innovation während des Galadinner gewährt.

LE FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DU COURT-MÉTRAGE FIC est organisé par L'ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE DE BELLA VISTA. L'INSTITUT NATIONAL DU CINÉMA ET DES ARTS AUDIOVISUELS- et de LA MAIRIE DE SAN MIGUEL qui coordonne, à travers ses sous-Secrétariats de l'Éducation et de la Culture, les actions de 12 institutions composant le Comité d'Appui au FIC.

OBJECTIFE ET CARACTÉRISTIQUES:
Le Festival International du Court-Métrage FIC est un grand événement qui se tient une fois par an notamment à Bella Vista, à Muñiz et à San Miguel, dans le but d' offrir un espace d'interaction entre les réalisateurs argentins et étrangers, de promouvoir et récompenser les jeunes talents sans distinction de Frontières, d'offrir une nouvelle vision du septième art au public cinéphile, de rendre hommage aux origines du cinéma et d'évoquer l'histoire des „STUDIOS SAINT MICHEL“ de la ville de Bella Vista, de tournage des productions des et coproductions les plus importantes de l'histoire de la cinématographie argentinisch, à travers le nom de la statuette ESMI, -ESTUDIOS SAN MIGUEL INTERNACIONAL-.
Dans les différentes salles de projection désignées chaque année par les organisateurs du festival, le FIC présente non seulement des projections gratuites ayant la spécification du type de public (adultes, jugendliche, enfants), mais aussi des expositions, des conférences, des débats, des ateliers.
Le FIC organisiere deux sortes de concours: L'un nommé ESMI, pour des cinéastes du monde entier, et l'autre PETITS COURT, dont les réalisateurs sont les jugendliche, pour pouvoir promouvoir la production audiovisuelle dans des institutions éducatives.
Son Dîner de Gala réunit les finalistes et les gagnant des prix ESMI, ainsi que des invités spéciaux et les gagnants du concours Petits Courts, dans une chaleureuse ambiance dans laquelle la création cinématographique est mise en valeur.

HISTORIQUE DU FIC:
Le FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DU COURT-MÉTRAGE FIC a été conçu en 2009 par l'Alliance Française de Bella Vista. Sa première édition a eu lieu du 10 au 24 avril 2010 avec l'appui de l'Incaa, les auspices de l'Ambassade de France, de la Mairie de San Miguel, de l'Institut Français et de la Délégation Générale de la Fondation Alliance Française en Argentine. L'Université du Cinéma, Air France, Pernod Ricard, Buenos Aires Golf Club et l'Université de General Sarmiento ont été partenaires de l'édition 2010 du FIC. Il a connu un très grand succès reflété dans ses six salles de projection, ainsi que dans les salons du Gala de la Remise des prix marquant la fermeture de la première présentation d'un festival international né pour s'ouvrir comme une fenêtre sur le monde.
Ce festival a évolué sans cesse et à pas de géant, renforçant dans chaque édition son caractère national et international, au point d'atteindre le chiffre de 1237 films venus de 80 pays différents, lors de sa 8ème édition en 2017, caractérisée par l'originalité et la qualité des 40 projections de toute la sélection officielle offerte dans 18 salles.
Il faudrait également considérer les activités parallèles: conférences, débats, une exposition offerte par des artistes de la région pour rendre hommage au cinéma universel, créant une atmosphère toute particulière. Le dîner de Gala de remise des prix, qui a encore eu dans le grand salon de la Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de San Miguel, s'est tenu dans le cadre d'une excellente présentation réalisée à travers l'Université Ouverte Interaméricaine et TELEFE, pour accueillir des cinéastes argentins et étrangers des autorités et personnalités représentatives. La UAI et le REDAU — Réseau d'Universités ibéro-américaines pour le développement de l'audiovisuel dans la région de l'Unasur, ont accordé un prix spécial à la narration innovante.

Fiaticorti wurde im Jahr 2000 aus der Idee einiger Mitglieder von Istranas „Youth Project“ geboren.
Der Name der Veranstaltung wurde aus zwei Gründen gewählt: Erstens ist „Kurzatmigkeit“ (Fiato Corto) die Auswirkung von körperlicher Anstrengung von kurzer Dauer (dieselbe Dauer wie bei Kurzfilmen). Darüber hinaus ist ein Film, der bis zu 20 Minuten dauern kann, in der Lage, dem Zuschauer starke Emotionen zu vermitteln, sodass er oder sie „außer Atem“ gerät.
Anfangs war Fiaticorti auf einen einzigen Abend beschränkt, nämlich eine Preisverleihung. Ab der 4. Ausgabe wurde das Format jedoch erweitert, und das Festival erstreckt sich über vier Etappen, in denen die besten Werke präsentiert werden.
2006 wurde die Sektion FiatiVeneti eingeführt, um Kurzfilmer aus der Region Venetien zu belohnen.
2011 war der Wendepunkt von Fiaticorti. Der langjährige künstlerische Leiter Gianni Billio übergab nicht nur den Staffelstab an Bartolo Ayroldi Sagarriga (den neuen künstlerischen Leiter), Andrea Grespan und Simone Perotto, sondern auch die Qualität der Filme im Wettbewerb nahm dramatisch zu, ebenso wie die Zahl der ausländischen Teilnehmer, hauptsächlich aus Frankreich, Großbritannien, Rumänien und Spanien. Fiaticorti wurde zunehmend zu einer internationalen Veranstaltung.
Die Identität des Festivals, verbunden mit der italienischen Filmclubkultur der siebziger Jahre, ist jedoch immer dieselbe geblieben. Ziel ist es, Kultur und Leidenschaft für Kurzfilme zu vermitteln. Aus diesem Grund hat sich die künstlerische Leitung entschieden, das Festival nicht mit Veranstaltungen anderer Art zu begleiten.
