The Festival is organized by the CinemArt Association of Pineda de Mar, it is an international festival with the aim of promoting a specific space for the discovery, screening and dissemination of short films.
The main thematic axis of the festival is that of comedy; however, the theme and genre of the productions is free. Quality and originality will be prioritized as the main objective, and that the production is unprecedented.
Short Out is a film festival that has the ambition to represent a reflection's place on the issues crossing the suburbs.
The enhancement of peripheral spaces is a central topic to explore expanding territories and with the purpose of understand an urban context that invests in centralization.
In the margins lives an unexpressed or not yet explored artistic lymph and the desire is to bring it to light, starting from Lainate, on the edge of the metropolitan city of Milan.
The fourth edition of Short Out Festival will take place from Tuesday 1st to Sunday 6th July, inside the natural spaces and courtyards of Villa Litta, emblem of the artistic, historical and cultural heritage of the city of Lainate.
We desire to create a widespread Festival that does not end with the screening of short films.
That's the reason we thought of a Short Off with a rich program of meetings during all three days of Short Out Festival.

2025 Sparknify Human vs. AI Film Festival
Welcome to the 2025 parknify Human vs. AI Film Festival, a groundbreaking event at the intersection of art, technology, and humanity.
Taking place in the heart of Silicon Valley—home to some of the world’s most significant advancements in AI generative video production—this festival celebrates the synergy between cutting-edge technology and the timeless essence of human creativity.
This year’s festival spotlights two distinct categories of films:
1. AI-Generated Films: This category showcases the revolutionary capabilities of artificial intelligence in film creation. The winning film will be the one that most convincingly mirrors human realism, seamlessly blurring the line between machine-generated art and human ingenuity.
2. Human-Created Films: Here, the spotlight shines on the unmistakable touch of humanity. The winner will embody the most “humanistic” qualities, evoking emotions and storytelling in a way only a human filmmaker can achieve—leaving no doubt that it was crafted by human hands and hearts.
The Sparknify Human vs. AI Film Festival is not just a celebration of films but also a conversation about the delicate balance between preserving intrinsic human spirit and embracing generative technological innovation. Join us as we explore the future of storytelling, where machines and humans together redefine the art of cinema.
Prepare to be inspired, challenged, and amazed. This is where the future of filmmaking takes shape—see you in Silicon Valley!
