This international meeting, already a classic in Punta del Este, has some peculiarities that distinguish it from other Jewish Film Festivals in the world, due to the fact that it takes place in such a special seaside resort as Punta del Este, a meeting point where communities from different countries gather annually in Uruguay.
The Punta del Este Jewish Film Festival (Festival Internacional de Cine Judío de Uruguay, FICJU®) was born in 2003, with the purpose of generating a cultural, educational, didactic and illustrative space, oriented to promote the knowledge of the history of the Jewish people and its diverse cultures and traditions, thus seeking to strengthen our identity and integration through art.
Fiction films and documentaries with different perspectives of the Jewish theme are shown, spaces are organized for the analysis and reflection of the history, customs and cultures of our people around the world, and the memory of the Shoa (Holocaust) is constantly maintained.
We discover new aspects of our heritage and identity, as well as learn about the current conditions of the different Jewish communities around the world, fostering the integration of all Jewish people through the knowledge of our shared essence.
Thanks to the above, the Punta del Este Jewish Film Festival becomes a focus of tourist attraction, with an average of 2,500 attendees.

The competition films were in more than 40 languages and included Leonardo Di Caprio's "Before the flood", National Geographic's "The Story of Us" narrated by Morgan Freeman and "The Circle" starring Tom Hanks & Emma Watson, "Loving Pablo" with Javier Bardem & Penelope Cruz, National Geographic's "Genius: Picasso" series with Antonio Banderas in the leading role.

The LifeArt Music Label aims to inspire creativity through music, by showcasing motivational and inspirational songs, albums and soundtracks that empower and stimulate art lovers the world over. Miradas Medellín - Film and Audiovisual Arts Festival is organized by Secretaría de Cultura Ciudadana of Medellín (Colombia). Its main objective is to bring Colombian and Latin American film production and other audiovisual expressions to the city's audiences, offering diverse exhibition, training and meeting experiences. It is also committed to promote and generate dynamics around the appreciation, dissemination and distribution that strengthen the audiovisual and film industry in the country. Through its programming, the festival seeks to be a point of convergence of multiple views on reality and contemporary and innovative formats that work with the moving image, focusing on the perspective of filmmakers from Colombia and Latin American countries.

Menorca Doc is a film and documentary photography festival that aims to show aspects of society that are not disseminated in cinemas, the media or the usual audiovisual distribution channels. The festival aims to raise public awareness through the documentary genre, understanding it as a tool to reflect on socio-political, environmental and human changes. Penitente Film Fest is the first Boyacense festival dedicated to genre cinema, emphasizing Sci-Fi, fantasy and terror. LUCES CAMEROS ACCION is a short film festival with two sections.

The 14th version of the Festival has as its central theme ¨Community Cinema as a generator of Social Change and Progress¨, the jury prioritizes content that has this focus, however the reception of audiovisual pieces is not closed exclusively to said theme, for Therefore, other types of content will be widely accepted.
¨Community cinema is not only an art form, but also a powerful tool to promote fundamental values of a progressive society, such as gender equality, social justice and citizen participation. It facilitates debate, plurality and solidarity, and offers a means of expression for the different groups and identities that make up the social, cultural and identity fabric of Colombia, at local, regional and national levels. ¨

The Ensenada International Film Festival (FICE) invites you to participate in its first edition. It will take place in the City of Ensenada, Province of Buenos Aires on September, 2024 (the date of the festival can be modified within said month).
FICE's search will focus on cinematographic works that address a critical, poetic or aesthetic reflection around water. In this sense, water may appear as a central or tangential element in the development of narratives.
Because we are inhabited, stirred and agitated by this river that feeds us, from the FICE, we are looking for those works that, like water, can poetically penetrate all the reality that we are able to cover.
IPSMF (International Photography and Short Movie Festival) is an international event held annually by the Faculty of Communication and Business, Telkom University, Bandung. The festival was created in 2015 and has the goal to become a space for professional development for filmmakers and amateurs that are looking for a platform to show their films and do some networking.
It has different categories for competition open for high school and university students (in Mexico), international filmmakers and french-speaking people. In addition, it has two international film exhibitis, one for gender and sexual diversity and one for long feature films.

This year, for the 41st Rencontres du Cinéma Latino-Américain, a festival organized by the association France Amérique Latine in Bordeaux, The cinema team would like to propose for the 3rd consecutive year an official competition of short films.
These 12 films selected by the employees and volunteers of the association will be presented to students who will award different prizes and use the short films as a study support.
The scholar work on and with the short films will start in september: the final answer of your participation in the official competition will be given at the beginning of december.
The Award winners will be notified after the Festival is concluded.

The Festival reserves the right to place entries into alternative categories if they feel it is to the benefit of the title. Each submission must be entered separately and it cannot be withdrawn.
By submitting, you agree not to withdraw your film from the festival after it has been accepted by the selection committee. If your film is selected, the festival holds the right to show your film at a time and date of its choosing.
Quartmetratges is a short film festival organised by the City Council of Quart de Poblet (Valencia). Only film directors who was born or are living in the Valencian Community can participate.
