In only three editions Il Varco International Short Film Festival has already gained the reputation of being one of the most interesting and artistically challenging festivals in Italy for films from all around the world, screening together an authorial selection that is a mixture of independent films, low budget productions, first films and great masterpieces.
In only three years our festival and its parallel screening "Short Days" have received more than 4900 films from 106+ countries, made 14 screenings around Italy with more than 1300 paying spectators screening the best short films from all around the world and giving directors the possibility to interact with a public of film students, film critics, directors, cinephiles and moviegoers.
Screenings take place in the biggest cinema of Abruzzi, on a 30 meters screen with DCP 2K projectors at maximum quality with 7.1 audio. Our staff prepares the DCP masters with double ita/eng subs for free for all the selected films, and you can keep it later.
The Nikon Film Festival is an event which encourages the video creation and promotes the emergence of new talents through a unique concept: enable everyone to create and share a short movie for free.
The challenge it proposes: realizing one or several short movies of 2 minutes 20 seconds on a set theme every year, nothing more.
For the 14th edition, theme will be "THE FIRE".

The 27th edition of the European Short Film Festival of Bordeaux will take place from March 14th to 15th 2024. The projection nights will take place at the UGC Ciné-Cité cinema in Bordeaux.

The European Short Film Festival of Bordeaux aims to promote the short film format to the Région Aquitaine's audience. It facilitates the access to cinema for a large public, from all ages. TIAF- Tbilisi International Animation Film Festival is an international event, promoting Animation Art and Industry Development Culture through Caucasus region and Internationally. TIAF is part of Caucasus Con, an educational and entertaining International event, dedicated to creating awareness of, and appreciation for, animation, video game and related popular Art Forms, primarily through the presentation of events that celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of animation art and culture.

Porto Femme is a women's film festival that aims to showcase and publicize the work of women in the seventh art, promoting equality and empowerment in the cinematographic universe.
Cinema performed and carried out by women, on women's themes, but in the end, it's only cinema made by women for ... all genres.
These films intend to educate and inform the public about social and political issues that affect women all over the world and give voice to several groups and struggles.
Since the first edition, in 2018, we had the opportunity to create a space of visibility for women filmmakers from all over the world with a diversified program where we screened 650 films in competition, held 15 tributes, 23 talks, 15 workshops, 3 performances, 9 concerts and 6 exhibitions with the participation of 109 female artists!
Our curation aims to reflect the diversity of genres, themes and languages. PORTO FEMME is a festival with a varied and appealing offer to the public, which will include competitive sessions, exhibitions, workshops, debates, Q & A sessions, exhibitions, among others.
The Tallahassee Film Festival prides itself on exceptional and unexpected programming. The 55th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival continues its totally dedicated Independent Film screening format for the upcoming April 20-24, 2022 unspooling. WorldFest will screen just 60-80 feature film premieres and over 130 Shorts with a total and absolute emphasis on the American and International Independent feature film and a continuing annual spotlight on award-winning short films and documentary films. Entries Officially Open Aug. 15, 2021. The EarlyBird Entry Deadline is Nov. 15th 2021 – A Mail-By/Enter By/Ship-By Deadline! Entries do not have to arrive by this deadline. The RKDS FILM FEST was created to bring awareness to the Film Industry in South Georgia. Cinema has always been and will always be a way in which human rights violations can be exposed and denounced. For that, Amnesty International France is pleased to announce the opening of submissions f edition of its annual cinema festival “Au Cinéma pour les droits humains” (To Cinema for Human Rights), which will take place in March 2019. The festival takes place each year in different cities of the south of France and with last year’s edition having had more than 3800 members at the audience. Therefore, we are searching for different entries for our festival. We are searching for films that touch on one or several human rights issues that are connected to any of our campaigns, such as the liberty of expression, women’s rights, impunity, and discriminations amongst other things.

The International Fantastic and Horror Film Festival in Tàrrega - Galacticat, which is held every year since 2014, is the first and only fantastic and horror film Festival in the lands of Lleida, aimed at all moviegoers in general and lovers of science fiction and terror in particular and with a clear divulgative vocation. The Galacticat was born as an initiative to recover the universal Sci-Fi classics for the general public and to delve into this culture that has articulated the universe of cinema since its inception. Over the years, the Galacticat has grown, involving citizens more and more in this film festival, gradually increasing the programmed activities, parties, concerts, screenings, public attendance, industry activities and the response of the film industry.
