Events and performances of these sections will be chosen directly by the artistic direction in base of quality, consistency with the project and the theme of the event, which is chosen year by year.
The Festival of shortfilms " Short Stories "10 , to be held at the House of Culture of Merlo , in October , aims to generate a space for exchange and sharing , promoting creativity , originality and the use of audiovisual media as a vehicle for artistic expression.
The registration of a film in the competition selection process of the festival indicates the full acceptance of these bases. The organization of the Festival will resolve in an unappealable manner with respect to any matter included in this regulation or its interpretation. The sender of the film authorizes FEDOCHI to select some sequences not exceeding three minutes that can be broadcast by TV, within the framework of programs and spots that disseminate the festival.
The 14th version of the Documentary Film Festival of Chiloe will take place between November 5 and 10, 2018.
Le 24e Festival international du film d'Almería se tiendra à Almería (Espagne), afin de promouvoir la province d'Almeria en renforçant les liens historiques de la province avec l'industrie audiovisuelle et la culture, du vendredi 14 novembre au dimanche 23 novembre 2025. Le festival est organisé par le Conseil provincial d'Almería.
a) The filmmakers must be:
- Regular students of careers linked to the audiovisual area of Chilean universities.
- Students graduated or qualified during the years 2016 and 2017, of careers linked to the audiovisual area of Chilean universities.
b) Participating short films must be national, that have been realized in some Chilean university after the 1 of January of the year 2015.
c) Works that have been part of the pre-selection and / or competition stage of previous versions of UDLA Festoc may not participate.
d) All participating works must be spoken, dubbed or subtitled in Spanish.
e) The participating works must have a maximum duration of 30 minutes, with credits included.
f) By the mere fact of registering his work, the applicant declares that he has read and accepted the rules of the contest.
The Boston Latino International Film Festival showcases films that deal with issues of importance and interest to the Latino community in the US, Latin America, and Spain. An important part of our mission is to portray an accurate image and representation of Latinos in the US and Latin America.
A large portion of BLIFF's programming focuses on human rights, immigration, environment and overall social justice issues.
BLIFF happens every year at Harvard and Northeastern University. Our audience are mostly residents of the City of Boston and members of the academic community. There are over 30 universities in the Boston Metro area and the students, faculty and staff of local colleges and universities are about 55% of our audience.
The Boston Latino International Film Festival (BLIFF), "Bridging Communities Through Movies," will screen the best current videos and films in the following categories: Feature Film, Documentary, and Short Film. The Festival will be held in November 2015.

UN REFUGE
Un refuge international pour les films qui visent, techniquement ou par l'intrigue, à aborder le grand mystère de la représentation du monde, dans l'art et dans l'homme. Sans dogmes, dans une perspective individuelle ou collective, fondée sur la foi, mais aussi sur la base de l'agnosticisme, de l'athéisme spirituel et de la pensée scientifique.
UN CINÉMA POÉTIQUE DE CONTEMPLATION
Les regards des cinéastes, dans toute leur diversité socioculturelle, s'intéressent à tout film en raison de leurs découvertes personnelles, de leurs recherches ou de leurs expérimentations, de leur inspiration et de leur travail, de la révélation ou de l'introspection des auteurs. Quotidien, extase et disparité comme structures permettant de donner de la profondeur au traitement du film.
ASCÉTISME
Le mysticisme et l'ascétisme dans la production cinématographique représentent probablement un domaine plus absolu que les autres, car un cinéma doté d'un budget énorme et d'une plus grande complexité technique pourrait être réalisé, mais parfois le film le plus humble et le plus simple est universel.
L'ALAMBIC
Les cinématographies éphémères, issues du cinéma « amateur » (du verbe français aimer), définissent les réalisateurs non seulement en fonction de ce qu'ils montrent et de la manière dont ils le font à l'écran, mais aussi en fonction de ce qu'ils décident de ne pas montrer.
PHÉNOMÉNOLOGIE
Ce qui apparaît et disparaît, les topologies émergent, matérielles ou conscientes, et leur invisibilité ou leur expiration ultérieure. L'environnement séquentiel du vide, de la matière et du temps. Le discours est éloquent, chacun peut le comprendre par lui-même. Absence et miracle : le mystique comme possible cohabitent ensemble.
CORDIALITÉ, COMMUNICATION ET COLLOQUES

The Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival celebrates its 9th edition this year. HBRFEST quickly became the main festival dedicated to promoting independent Brazilian cinema in the United States. It is the only festival in the world capital of cinema that supports the exchange between the best in independent Brazilian production and Hollywood.
In 2017, the Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival will present three days, of the most brilliant Brazilian films of the year. Award-winning actors, writers and directors will be in attendance.
In addition to the film screenings, the Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival also promotes panels, workshops and debates.

This year's festival takes place at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood, California, and it will award productions in the following categories: Best Short Film. There will also be special recognition for Award Star Rise and Humanitarian Award.
The Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival is produced by Talize Sayegh, which also has been cooperated with major festivals like the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (Laliff) and the Rio Festival.

COLCHAGUA KIDS, shows a child, framed in the Colchagua film International Festival, which has as its main objectives, the formation of children's hearings and the promotion of national and international works with child theme.
Digital Griffix film awards changed a bit over the years and is now an IMDB listed international online awards competition taking place each three months.
Each three months our jury determines the best films in each category. Note that we do NOT screen films online or onsite. The films are screened privately by the jury. Our goal is to help filmmakers take the next step in their career. Our jury is composed of award winning filmmakers who perfectly understand the hard work put in independent filmmaking !
"Muestrario Short Films in Projection" is a non-competitive Cinematographic Exhibition, Solidarity and Nonprofit, which seeks to position the short film as a piece of art in itself.
"Muestrario" is a permanent exhibition that want to promote film culture and creating new audiences through short films.
The screenings will be in the Auditorium of the Public Library of the State"Juan Jose Arreola" located on Periferico Norte Manuel Gomez Morin 1695, municipality of Zapopan, Jalisco. Mexico.
The screenings will be the second Friday of each month at 18:00 with completely free admission.
"Muestrario" its formed by a collective of independent filmmakers, so it does not belong to any public institution, private or academic.
The application of shortfilms and participation "Muestrario" is completely free, whether the film was made with the help of a film school, institution, public, private or completely independently.

Held among the spectacular rivers and bluffs of the Driftless Region in Northeastern Iowa, the Oneota Film Festival, OFF, brings compelling, innovative, and inspiring films and filmmakers to Decorah, Iowa. Through film and other media that illuminate the human condition, OFF aims to engage a large and diverse audience in the critical issues of our time.
OFF invites documentary, narrative, animated, web/tv/new media series epicodes and student films for its 9th annual festival April 19-22, 2018. All films submitted will be juried by an international panel of filmmakers and film scholars. Festival events include: screenings of 50+ films, discussions, and panels with invited filmmakers and local/regional experts; an opening night Gala; Filmmakers Reception Saturday evening; and special events in conjunction with host Luther College and the Decorah community.
Filmmakers are encouraged to attend and will receive free admission to the entire festival and all events. Come interact with an educated, involved audience!
Awards are offered in each film category, in addition to an Audience Choice award.
