The FENAVID International Film Festival is held annually in the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Organized by the Audiovisual Foundation (FUNDAV), the Festival has become the most important film event in Bolivia and one of the most relevant in Latin America.

Since its first version, carried out in 2001, more than 10,000 audiovisual works from 30 countries have been presented at this meeting, which has transcended the borders of Bolivia and America.

In each version, FENAVID offers the public more than 150 screenings of feature films, short films, music videos and a series of audiovisual works that are exhibited free of charge for the public.

FENAVID always has first-rate guests. The event was attended by internationally renowned figures such as Celso Franco, protagonist of "7 boxes", Marisol Correa, Colombian actress, Alexandre Rodrigues and Leandro Firmino de Hora (protagonists of the acclaimed Brazilian film "Ciudad de Dios"), the Argentine producer Vanessa Ragone (winner of the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 2010), Bolivian directors Marcos Loayza and Rodrigo Bellot and Argentine actress Aymará Rovera, to name a few.

Beyond glamor and film screenings, FENAVID is a macro meeting where producers, directors, actors, specialists and a whole multitude of people passionate about cinema converge.

During the days of its realization, the Festival has a series of parallel activities, such as children's film shows, video clip competition, workshops, talks, colloquia and debates.

One of the most anticipated events of FENAVID is the Santa Cruz 100X100 Film Production Meeting. It consists of bringing together 25 emerging film talents in Latin America. The chosen ones travel to Santa Cruz de la Sierra and, during the development of the festival, have the mission of producing a short film in 100 hours.

Change is a step towards adding something new, it is never a loss, but it brings with it all the signs of the transformation that each individual faces. From the past to the present, from the real to the surreal, The metamorphosis - Evolution and Revolution will be the theme of the second edition of Etnabook, Catania Book and Culture Festival. The emotional effort of transformation requires energy which gives value to every action. The world of national and international literature has always given ample space to the search for the self, to the process of formation and to interior and exterior renewal. For this reason, evolution and revolution, the last stages of an individual and collective metamorphosis, will be at the center of the debate of the first great Catania Book Festival, giving voice to authors, booksellers, readers and artists who will tell the change present in their stories.
The event will take place from 25 to 27 September 2020 and will be a cultural glue for all bookstores, cultural spaces and libraries not only in the city of Catania, but also in the province. For the second consecutive year the event will consist of a three-day event full of meetings, book presentations, exhibitions, screenings, previews, a writing workshop, the contest A book in a page and, last but not least, the Etnabook literary contest - Culture under the volcano (award ceremony during the inaugural evening of the festival).
The technical jury, which will evaluate the works participating in the competition, will be composed of personalities from the world of publishing, culture and journalism. The best works of the categories in the competition will receive a plaque and a cash prize.
The competition will include three sections:
• Poetry;
• Fiction / Essay - Enrico Morello Award. The section is dedicated to the memory of the writer, the first winner of the Culture under the volcano competition, who died prematurely;
• A book on one page.

To complete the rich possibility of participation will be the competition dedicated to booktrailers, a section entirely devoted to the cinematographic transposition of literary works.

The Etnabook Festival event is organized by the NO_NAME cultural association chaired by Cirino Cristaldi.

The "Fiorenzo Serra" Visual Anthropology Laboratory, managed by the Department of History, Human Sciences and Education of the University of Sassari (from now on, called "Department") and the Società Umanitaria - Cineteca Sarda (from now on, called “Film Archive“), as part of a project aimed at enhancing public awareness of the director, filmmaker and ethnologist Fiorenzo Serra, announce for the year 2023 the Competition for ethnographic film productions titled “Fiorenzo Serra Film Festival”. The definition “film production" (from now on, “film”) means any audiovisual product, a documentary film, produced using analogue or digital technologies. The competition aims to promote the production of films that can contribute to the awareness of ethnographic cultural realities through the audiovisual medium and pursues the objective of protecting and implementing, in a scientific and systematic manner, national and foreign audiovisual productions concerning the ethnographic, archaeological, historical, cultural-linguistic and environmental heritages. The competition also has the function of better defining, within the framework of the theoretical-methodological debate of the demo-ethno-anthropological disciplines, not only the important role of visual anthropology, but also the objective of supporting the realization of audiovisual documentation concerning the identity and the cultural specificities of Sardinia, as well as the different national and international social realities.

We know how hard it is for an indie filmmaker to produce and distribute their works.

Mindie is the tool that every filmmaker needs, in order to showcase and get recognitions for their film:

We have created monthly editions to give continuity to the selection process and a steady feedback to the filmmakers. Instead of waiting for months before getting an answer from the festival, filmmakers are immediately contacted if selected. Their work is privately screened every month and evaluated by a team of experts in the industry.

The monthly winners will then compete to be screened at our annual event for the following year. The event aims to create a strong relationship between filmmakers, producers and distributors from all over the world.

Submissions to the festival will close at the end of each month, our jury will select the winners on the 20th of every month.

VOID IAFF is Denmark´s most audacious animation film festival which takes place annually in the beautiful capital city of Copenhagen.

The purpose of VOID IAFF is to celebrate animation in all its forms by creating and promoting a space where storytellers connect with a broader audience.

Every year in February, VOID IAFF arranges feature film screenings and retrospectives, curates short film programs, invites international guest speakers for talks and seminars… and hosts three competitions!

The name “VOID” recalls the blank canvas, the empty space, from which directors, animators, and artists create entire worlds of pure imagination.
The name also refers to a gap in the programming of Danish cinemas. Aside from big-budget, commercial hits, animated films very rarely get a shot at the big screen, and not for lack of quality. VOID IAFF was established to change that. Starting from screening for adults only, VOID IAFF has now broadened its scope so to create a future that cherishes animation as the powerful storytelling tool it is in telling stories that are diverse, experimental, compelling, and that matter.

VOID IAFF is part of a growing community of animation lovers, producers, and professionals worldwide. Take part in VOID IAFF and dive into international top-class animation which also dares to be different. We aim to push it, crush it and inspire the next generation of animated filmmakers to be not only tech-savvy and into their craft, but also daring, exploring and personal.

For each edition we curate experiences which features animation outside the screening rooms, so if you want us to take your virtual reality, visuals, computer game or installation into consideration, we are open. If you have troubles submitting, please email us at info@voidfilmfestival.com.

Shake the conscience, awake the soul, spark reflection, tickle curiosity, interrogate the status quo, trigger conversations.

Welcome to VOID IAFF!
