The international community evaluates the all-genre creations to serve ARFF Official Laurels and to certify the awarded filmmakers at the end of the annual festival run. Thus, all the ARFF Finalists will be mentioned multiple times to have the best out of the entire year altogether. Submissions made via Festhome are getting evaluated and selected, directly for the yearly festival run and participating in the Official Certificate Program exclusively. The Luz del Desierto International Festival is an audiovisual Festival that aims to promote cinema within the country and abroad. The festival will take place in october with competition for feature films and short films, both fiction, animation and documentary. There will also be talks and workshops.

WorldFest is the only film festival in the world that gives your entry a grade, a score! Your score can earn you a Remi Award! We do not believe that there can just be three winners in a category, a Gold, Silver and Bronze - so we assign your entry a score from the jury! An A+ wins a Special Jury Award and is considered for the Grand Remi! An A score wins a Platinum Remi, an A- wins a Gold, a B+ wins a Silver and a B wins a Bronze Remi. No Awards are made below a B level score. With more than 4,750 category entries, only about 10-15% actually win a Remi Award, but we feel it is the best possible way to run a festival awards system!

The 55th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival continues its totally dedicated Independent Film screening format for the upcoming April 20-24, 2022 unspooling. WorldFest will screen just 60-80 feature film premieres and over 130 Shorts with a total and absolute emphasis on the American and International Independent feature film and a continuing annual spotlight on award-winning short films and documentary films. Entries Officially Open Aug. 15, 2021. The EarlyBird Entry Deadline is Nov. 15th 2021 – A Mail-By/Enter By/Ship-By Deadline! Entries do not have to arrive by this deadline. The Main Entry Deadline is December 15, 2021. The Late Entry Deadline is Jan 15th 2022!
WorldFest Artistic and Program Director, Kathleen Haney, stated, “We are fiercely dedicated to the Indie Feature and Short Film and look for a quality selection of individual films to maintain a smaller, yet effective program rather than an overly large and unwieldy slate of 150-300 films. This year WorldFest presents its 8th Annual Panorama Asia, the largest survey of new films from all of Asia & China in the whole, wide world! More than 200 directors and filmmakers will attend from Beijing, Shanghai, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia, VietNam, Cambodia, the Philippines & Japan. China is now the largest box-office and production revenue country in the world, surpassing the USA. There is a special Panorama Asia theater and a dedicated section of the program book.

It became an officially competitive International Film Festival seven years later, in April 1968, and has been in continuous operation since. It is one of the original three film festivals in North America, with San Francisco and New York as the first two events. Following WorldFest was Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, and Seattle. Then Sundance and SXSW, Toronto and Tribeca. Now there are more than 3,500 USA film festivals of various types, levels and quality, most being simply non-competitive screening events! Now in its tenth year, the Northeast Film Festival showcases top independent films from filmmakers, as well as new talent. With the name Illusive Eye the optical process by which animation occurs in our brain by generating movement from the illusion produced by the rapid exposure to images in sequence is evoked. Animation offers the construction of credible universes, capable of freeing us from the limits of immediate reality.
With the coming of current communication technologies, animation has gained even more ground than it had in Film, Didactics and Videogames. In honor of this abyss of creativity and as an invitation to immerse ourselves in it, this meeting space has been created for creators, scholars and amateurs. Looking to show not only its strength in the current film narrative but the presence of other types of speeches built on this means of visual expression: GIFs, memes, stickers, emoticons, headers, symbols for social networks, interface elements, banners, promotions , and any type of element generated from the illusion of an eye.
The Ensenada International Film Festival (FICE) invites you to participate in its first edition. It will take place in the City of Ensenada, Province of Buenos Aires on September, 2024 (the date of the festival can be modified within said month).
FICE's search will focus on cinematographic works that address a critical, poetic or aesthetic reflection around water. In this sense, water may appear as a central or tangential element in the development of narratives.
Because we are inhabited, stirred and agitated by this river that feeds us, from the FICE, we are looking for those works that, like water, can poetically penetrate all the reality that we are able to cover.
International Environmental Documentary Film Festival 2020 (IED Film Festival 2020) is presented by Rotary International District 3202 and hosted by Rotary Club of Calicut Cyber City, Kerala, India to improve the understanding among the Rotary members and general public about environmental issues and to increases their sense of responsibility in protecting the environment. This curated Seven day online Film Festival will live stream films at the advertised time, and then broadcasted films will become available on-demand for the duration of the festival. Jersey City Popup Film Festival (JCPFF) is designed to be a fun relaxed film festival, offering quality independent films and networking opportunities.

The desired outcome is to get students of all ages watching your short film/video in classrooms across Florida. When they do, our next generation of Floridians will be better prepared for their financial future.
