The Creative Arts Film Festival is an annual international film festival that is designed to showcase and promote short films and filmmakers. Since 2003 the international Festival SIGNES DE NUIT is active in Paris, Berlin, Saarbrücken and with special screenings world wide. The festival in Paris actually presents around 300 films coming from around 50 countries at different places in Paris. In Berlin the festival will be performed in the legendary cinema Babylon.

Das Sofia MENAR Film Festival macht das bulgarische Publikum mit der Kultur und den Traditionen der islamischen Welt vertraut.
Das Programm des Sofia MENAR Film Festivals präsentiert die besten Kinoproduktionen aus dem Nahen Osten, Zentralasien und Nordafrika, darunter Spielfilme, Dokumentarfilme und Kurzprojekte. Im Rahmen des Festivals werden viele Begleitveranstaltungen organisiert. Diese Veranstaltungen sind besonders ausgewählt und haben einen Bezug zu den Ländern dieser Region. Sie repräsentieren die Traditionen und Gebräuche der ethnischen Gruppen, die in ihren Ländern leben.
Das Festival findet jedes Jahr im Januar statt. MENAR wird von „Pozor“ als eines der größten kulturellen Ereignisse auf dem Balkan organisiert, das die muslimische Welt und ihre Traditionen repräsentiert.
In seinen achtzehn Ausgaben von 2009 bis 2026 hat das Festival dem bulgarischen Publikum mehr als 1200 Titel präsentiert — Filmproduktionen, die in Asien und Afrika gedreht wurden.
Der Begriff MENAR steht für „Region Naher Osten und Nordafrika“ und ist eine Abkürzung, die häufig verwendet wird, um ein ausgedehntes Gebiet abzudecken, das sich von Marokko bis zum Iran erstreckt und die Mehrheit der Länder des Nahen Ostens und des Maghreb umfasst.
Menár /, in arabischer Sprache auch manár/ ausgesprochen, bedeutet Leuchtturm, Lichtturm, Leitlicht. Es ist vom arabischen Wort nur//abgeleitet, was Licht bedeutet. Es wurde in der bulgarischen Sprache verwendet, und zwar in der osmanisch-türkischen Sprache über das Wort Minare, was den Turm bedeutet, der den Weg beleuchtet.
Das InFest Film Festival ist ein zweitägiges Kurzfilmfestival für Freaks, das in Rubí stattfindet, einer Stadt voller Asphalt, Industrie und Rauch in den Valles Occidental, einer Region in der Nähe von Barcelona (Spanien).
Das InFest Festival ist ein fester und klarer Vorschlag: Rubí soll als Rubiwood des Viertels Vallés bekannt werden. Kurzfilme dürfen nicht länger als 15 Minuten sein (ohne Credits). Ausländische Filme MÜSSEN auf Spanisch oder Katalanisch synchronisiert oder untertitelt werden, sonst wird der Film nicht akzeptiert.
Im Jahr 2026 feiert das InFest seine 11. jährliche Ausgabe. Nach der COVID-19-Pandemie wurde das InFest in das Amphitheater der Burg von Rubí („El Castell“) verlegt, einer Verteidigungsanlage aus dem 13. Jahrhundert, in der öffentliche Veranstaltungen mit mehr als 2000 Personen stattfinden können. Das Amphitheater verfügt über Sitzplätze, Bühne und Bar! Der Jurypreis und der Publikumspreis sind mit 1000 bzw. 250 Euro dotiert.

Axolotl Film Festival of Mexico City with Cactus Films invite Mexican and international filmmakers residing in and outside the country to participate in its second edition to be be held from the 9th to the 13th of November, 2016 in the windows of different shops on the main streets of the Historical Center of Mexico City.
The shop windows are natural screens, generally disregarded, ready to present and recreate our lives and experiences in Mexico City. Commercial establishments are no longer meeting places for citizens and, conversely, are spaces that separate us. We believe that cinema can generate and promote a sense of community among the residents and the visitors of the city.
All participating short film and video need to reference, in their subject matter, characters, settings and/ or storyline, to Mexico City. The short films could have been produced in Mexico City, in other states or abroad.
BirthInjuryGuide.org is hosting an online film festival to highlight films that advocate and educate about the frequency and cause of birth injuries. The best short film will receive a $1000 scholarship towards education in the field of health care and health advocacy.

Wildlife Vaasa International Nature film festival is located on the West Coast of Finland, and it was held in the city of Vaasa every second year, since 2002. Since its conception, it has grown in stature receiving commendation from participants, delegates, media and the public world-wide. The upcoming 9th biennial edition of the festival will be organized from 26th - 30th September 2018 and it will host the 9th international nature film competition. The competition aims to raise public awareness , as well as to participate in a global dialogue about Nature and The Environment. Therefore, only Nature and Science related to Nature documentaries produced after 2016 are accepted in the competition. The festival calls especially for films related to ENERGY and CLIMATE CHANGE.
