OBJECTIVES: This non-competitive event aims to be a meeting place for independent film production and the public, we encourage the creation and production of audiovisual filmmakers from all over the world and provide a space to allow diffusion of contemporary and cultural film productions.
THEME: Works will be accepted whose aesthetic and thematic proposal refer to the cultural identity of the places of origin of the filmmakers, providing entertainment and cultural knowledge for the audience.
Film Front moves frontiers: open call for motion graphics exhibition
Film Front, international short film festival, due to be held from 25th to 28th October in the cultural centre of Novi Sad, has decided to include motion graphics exhibition in this year’s festival’s program. Artists can submit their animations, presentations, animated GIFs, animated elements and other pieces that belong to the category of motion graphics.
Even though motion graphics are rather a fine arts category, they are tightly connected to the moving images art. That is why Film Fronts wants to honour these artworks that more than often do not find their way to the film festivals, but whose aesthetic value overcomes their usually determined functional purpose.

The 30 Dies Festival is a tiny festival located in a tiny country between France and Spain which focuses on the fantastic film genre. On 2014 we had our first edition with 14 films screened during November in two venues. Our festival covers any film with fantastic elements within the genre of thriller / horror / action / creature / documentary / sci fi - films. At this year’s edition we have two categories: Feature Films and Short films (Under 20 minutes).
The 30 Dies Festival loves indie films and, for this reason, we accept films recorded in every format and with any kind of budget, but be sure that your film fits into our festival.
Né en 2009 afin de mettre en valeur et d'encourager l'expression artistique, le cinéma et l'identité culturelle de la région. Promouvoir la pérennité des cultures et renforcer les politiques culturelles de la ville en tant que mécanisme de participation citoyenne et communautaire ; soutenir ainsi le développement, l'exposition et la diffusion du cinéma et des arts visuels dans les villes de Guadalajara de Buga et Valle del Cauca ; proposer un dialogue entre les différentes expressions artistiques d'aujourd'hui et leurs mécanismes de participation, principalement auprès des jeunes. Ce festival cherche à créer des espaces de discussion, de création artistique et audiovisuelle de manière participative.
Le festival est devenu le premier événement du genre dans ce domaine, pour l'exposition, la formation, le renforcement des capacités et le collectif sur le thème du cinéma et des arts visuels à Guadalajara de Buga et dans le Valle del Cauca.

En présentiel, il se tiendra dans les villes de Lebu, capitale de la province d'Arauco, et dans la ville de Concepción, dans la région de Biobío, au Chili, du 1er au 6 avril 2025. Avec des sous-sites virtuels nationaux et internationaux pour l'exposition des compétitions. Depuis 2018, CINELEBU est le seul festival au Chili à qualifier les courts métrages pour les Oscars® dans trois catégories : animation internationale, fiction régionale et fiction internationale. Et depuis 2023, il est qualifié pour les Goya Awards et Marca Chile.

Le Festival international du film du Cambodge (12e édition en 2023) est l'événement cinématographique le plus important et le plus organisé par l'industrie au Royaume du Cambodge et en Asie du Sud-Est. Chaque année, l'événement présente des photos remarquables et accueille des invités du Cambodge et de l'étranger.
Le CIFF vise à faire découvrir au public la diversité des films, à promouvoir la production cinématographique internationale innovante sous diverses formes et à présenter des productions de qualité réalisées au Cambodge et sur le Cambodge par des cinéastes nationaux et internationaux.
Depuis 2015, le CIFF propose une sélection spéciale de films sur l'environnement et l'action pour le climat.
Le CIFF se déroule dans les meilleures salles de Phnom Penh (10 salles, plus de 160 projections, plus de 130 films) et respecte pleinement les droits d'auteur.
La 14e édition du Festival a pour thème central « Le cinéma communautaire en tant que générateur de changement social et de progrès ». Le jury donne la priorité aux contenus axés sur cet objectif, mais la réception des œuvres audiovisuelles n'est pas limitée exclusivement à ce thème, car d'autres types de contenu seront donc largement acceptés.
« Le cinéma communautaire est non seulement une forme d'art, mais également un outil puissant pour promouvoir les valeurs fondamentales d'une société progressiste, telles que l'égalité des sexes, la justice sociale et la participation citoyenne. Il facilite le débat, la pluralité et la solidarité, et offre un moyen d'expression aux différents groupes et identités qui constituent le tissu social, culturel et identitaire de la Colombie, aux niveaux local, régional et national. ¨
C'est pour cette raison que le festival du film et de la vidéo Comuna 13, The Other History, dans sa version 2024, a décidé de créer des espaces de dialogue et d'échange de connaissances autour du cinéma communautaire, en encourageant la participation des groupes les plus importants du pays à cette modalité afin de partager des expériences, des méthodologies et des connaissances avec le secteur universitaire de notre ville (réseau de création audiovisuelle, médias techniques, écoles pour la paix, entre autres)
Le festival international de courts métrages Flor Azul se tiendra au Centre Culturel 25 de Febrero (Caballito, Ville de Buenos Aires, Argentine) le 25 septembre 2021.

Le Videofestival Imperia, organisé par Officine Digitali est ouvert aux amateurs et professionnels. L'inscription est gratuite. Le Festival en est maintenant à sa 14e édition et aura lieu à Imperia du 05 mai au 09 mai 2020. La date limite pour les œuvres étrangères est le 02 décembre 2019. 21118 auteurs de 100 pays ont participé à l'édition 2019. 88 films ont été projetés.

Réservé aux auteurs étrangers. Les sections sont : Courts métrages, Films documentaires, Films d'animation & Graphiques avec durée de fonctionnement illimitée. Les œuvres doivent être sous-titrées dans l'une des langues suivantes : italien, français, anglais. Pour le premier travail sélectionné de chaque section sera attribué un prix. Le sujet est gratuit.
CATÉGORIE EXPLORER :
Ouvert aux auteurs nationaux et internationaux. Les sections sont : Documentaire Voyage (durée max. 30 min.) et Documentaire Nature (durée illimitée). Seule une œuvre choisie par le jury recevra un prix.

The Film Festival "Artplay" is intended to prove that the cinema like a kind of art is alive and continues to be developed and served as the source of inspiration for people.
The idea of the Festival is to become the new creative platform for those ones, who are not frightened to open new corners of cinema, as well as, who with help of a certain film try to speak about the present day, just using the bright ideas and his or her inner world. Format of our Festival is short films, social advertisements, and animation films.
Today, any volunteer can become a short film director and show his film to the wide audience and the Elite of Russian film industry.
Panel of judges represents itself 6 judges, who are professional actors, known musicians, and artists, the people whose life is connected with the creativity as the profession.

Whitespace Gallery is proud to announce the 2015 edition of the Short Shorts video festival with the title Somebody Else’s Problem, and guest curated by Rachel Reese.
Selected video works will be shown at Whitespace Gallery in Atlanta, GA on August 13, 2015. A DVD anthology presenting the selected video works and their authors will accompany the exhibition.
The 2015 Short Shorts prompt uses the lens of the psychological effect known as “Somebody Else’s Problem,” or SEP, as a method to explore reactions and responses to recent American political and social events, particularly current, galvanizing American police brutality and racial discrimination cases. With protests and demonstrations fueling renewed national civil rights concerns, many of us are wondering what actions can make an impact, how to be involved, and how to transfer our individual passivity from SEP syndrome into collective forward action.
Are there connections between the ways we access and share information online, and individual civic engagement thresholds? Specifically, has instantaneous access to digital information and imagery contributed to a state of mere voyeuristic empathy, or even learned helplessness? Overload of visual information can create an environment of apathy and also a false sense of public engagement through passive forms. Does being able to see more conversely contribute to less experiential involvement by allowing screen viewing to stand in for actual bodies in real space? Does it overwhelm any desire for curiosity or engagement? We want to read, see, and learn more, but simultaneously we are restless: attention spans and comprehension rates are rapidly diminishing.
The images we see and share online are of real people in real time and space, happening “live”. Or are they? With the ever-rising influence of the media, questioning who owns and controls information is integral to discussing voice within our democratic system. Which platforms—social media, the Internet, traditional print media—do we believe to be reliable? How has the global ubiquity of smart phones, illuminated, or alternatively hindered, the distribution and perception of current political events – especially those most recently related to abuse of police power and structural racism.
How do we transfer collective energy and motivation into thinking about isolated or localized events as “somebody else’s problem” into collective societal motivations and wants? And then how do we fight against an oligarchal system masquerading as democracy in order to start real conversations and, ultimately, change?
We’re interested in representing video forms in all media, demanding a critical assessment of the systems of information and visualization we have established. What is the artist’s role in shaping public discourse, public outcry, public protest? What is the citizen’s responsibility to engage in radical political ideologies?
We seek short films and video works (no more than 10 minutes) from authors that explore and challenge ideas presented in this prompt, as well as works that open the conversation to include other related social concerns such as housing discrimination and food justice. We encourage submissions from a plurality of viewpoints, methods and forms, from artists, documentarians, students, citizens and amateurs alike.
Le Most Festival est un événement annuel qui vise à présenter les meilleures œuvres audiovisuelles internationales liées à la viniculture, au vin et au cava. Dans le même temps, le festival vise à porter un toast au bon cinéma en projetant des films inédits de grands auteurs.

Nato nel 2013, in occasione del 10° anniversario dalla morte del grande Albertone, il premio è promosso e coordinato dall'associazione Utopià di Grottaglie con l'intento di sostenere e incentivare quanti credono e vivono nel mondo della recitazione e dello spettacolo con capacità, talento e impegno professionale. Quest'anno, l'iniziativa vanta l'egida della Fondazione Alberto Sordi, ente morale nato nel 1992 proprio per volontà dell'attore romano, al fine di promuovere la ricerca scientifica sulle patologie dell'età avanzata e l'assistenza qualificata alle persone anziane, nel rispetto prima e nella valorizzazione poi della dignità della persona umana e del suo diritto alla vita e alla salute. L'evento ha inoltre ricevuto il patrocinio del Comune di Grottaglie e della Regione Puglia.
L'appuntamento per il premio “CortoSordi” è per il 19 luglio prossimo nell'atrio del primo circolo didattico “Edmondo De Amicis” di Grottaglie e sarà presentato dalla conduttrice di Telenorba, Daniela Mazzacane. Daazo - the European Shortfilm Centre proudly presents the 4th edition of the Friss Hús International Shortfilm Festival, which will take place at the end of March 2016 in Budapest, Hungary. The success of the last three years made it possible for Friss Hús to become one of the most important shortfilm events in Hungary.
The long term plan of the organisers of Friss Hús is to make sure that the event becomes an internationally acclaimed festival where the audience can watch entertaining and colourful short film selections and where the filmmakers can meet important professionals from the film industry as well as attend special workshops.
We hope to see you in Budapest at the Friss Hús screenings, for an all night long party or at one of the festival’s professional events!
