Global Music Awards (GMA) goal is to celebrate truly independent musicians, rather than being like other music talent competitions that honor only the best-selling recording artists. GMA is a showcase for original music, unique voices and emerging artists.
As an independent artist, it is always a challenge to build momentum and grow a musical resume that makes people stand up and pay attention. If you win GMA honors, it will establish your credibility as well as help you schedule bookings and secure dates. Mentioning that you have been honored by Global Music Awards will cause people to pause and take more time to consider your music. The Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival is launching its 9th annual celebration of bringing strong, independent documentary films and filmmakers to West Sonoma County. Screening 71 films in 4 days during the 2015 festival, with over 90 filmmakers and guests in attendance, we had another incredible weekend of films and intense documentary discussion. 2016 is already shaping up to be another great festival. Depuis 2013, l’association « Les Alibis » organise le Film Noir Festival, un festival de films ayant pour thème le Film Noir. Il s’agit du premier et du seul festival en France ayant pour thème ce genre cinématographique.
Lors des deux premières éditions, qui se sont déroulées en 2013 et 2014, le Film Noir Festival s’était donné comme objectif d’éclairer le public sur le courant cinématographique qu’est le Film Noir.
Durant 4 jours, ce sont plus de 30 films de jeunes réalisateurs, au travers de la compétition internationale de courts métrages soumise au regard du jury des professionnels, mais aussi de cinéastes plus confirmés par le biais de la rétrospective généraliste de longs métrages et des avant-premières nationales, qui ont été présentés à un large public éclectique et de tout âge.
En octobre 2013, le Film Noir Festival s’est associé à la Film Noir Foundation de San Francisco créée et présidée par Eddie Muller, spécialiste mondial du Film Noir et fondateur du festival Noir City à San Francisco, à qui elle a décerné son premier Prix d'honneur en décembre 2013.
Pour sa quatrième édition, qui se tiendra du 24 au 27 novembre 2016 au cinéma "Le Vincennes" (94), le Film Noir Festival poursuivra son éclairage sur le Film Noir en proposant de nouveau une programmation de films inédits ou rares au travers de la rétrospective de 10 longs métrages, des avant-premières en ouverture et en clôture du Festival, des hommages à des réalisateurs, des acteurs ou des compositeurs emblématiques du Film Noir mais également au travers de la compétition internationale de courts métrages.
FICAMS, Antarctica’s International Film Festival about Environment and Sustainability is a competitive festival that gives and teaches community members, through films, diverse views related to our habitat and culture. General themes of the audio-visual pieces are base on the environment, nature, sustainability, climate change, recycling, and renewable energy sources.
Audio-visual production are exhibited and discussion panels are held during the festival, hence promoting debate around socio - environmental realities from different places of the world, allowing us to learn about problems but also strategic solutions in tight relation to our local reality.

L'Ocejón Travel Film Festival est né en 2009 dans deux petits villages de la région de la Sierra Norte à Guadalajara (Espagne), promu par un petit groupe de voisins soucieux d'attirer le cinéma en milieu rural, en particulier le cinéma engagé et non commercial qui a tendance à être peu diffusé dans les salles normales, mais presque rien dans les villages ou les petites villes. Mais les organisateurs souhaitaient également la participation active du quartier, en plus d'attirer l'attention des habitants d'autres villes, régions et villes pour qu'ils connaissent l'endroit où nous vivions et partagent leurs expériences.
C'est pourquoi, dès le début, nous avons essayé de le faire avec le budget le plus bas possible afin de compenser la pénurie de ressources économiques par le courage et la volonté de nous-mêmes et de nos voisins, le capital humain.
Neuf ans plus tard, en 2018, le festival a déménagé dans une autre petite ville, Jesús Pobre, dans la région de Marina Alta (Alicante), mais il conserve le même esprit et les mêmes intérêts originaux : nous voulons proposer des films de voyage (tous types) dans le village.
Actuellement, les organisateurs sont intégrés à l'association à but non lucratif « La Jalea Cultural del Montgó ». En 2018, à l'occasion de sa dixième édition, il a été célébré pour la première fois au pied du mont Montgó.

Cine Curtas Lapa est un festival indépendant à but non lucratif dont l'entrée est gratuite. Le festival vise à présenter des films réalisés ou ayant pour thème la ville de Rio de Janeiro afin de promouvoir l'industrie audiovisuelle brésilienne, en particulier les courts métrages de Rio dans le quartier nocturne le plus traditionnel de la ville. L'idée est de proposer un programme de courts métrages de fiction, d'animation et de documentaires au public de Lapa, afin d'enrichir la vie culturelle du quartier bohème.
