Live Entertainment, LLC, Russia in co-operation with EVENT FILM, Canada proudly present an annual festival event – International Horror, Action and Fantastic Film Festival & Awards "DROP".
The festival is being annually held in the city of Moscow since the year 2011 and contains 4 events:
- opening screening
- closing awards ceremony
- master-class and Q&A with movie stars
- film festival competition program screenings in cinema theatres
The Awards ceremony takes place in a big concert venue (changing every year) and consists of the show program and the ceremony of granting awards which is divided into the following jury voting categories:
- awards granted to local film distribution companies for the blockbusters screened in cinema theatres of Russia in the reported year;
- awards granted to young directors and producers as competition program. The category is called “Hope for Survival”;
- awards granted to World stars for the contribution to horror genre
The Awards ceremony is always visited and recorded by a large number of mass media.
The Master-class is a so-called Q&A horror convention held in a cinema theatre in a form of a question-answer session between the star guests of the festival and the audience + autograph session. The event usually ends with a premier film screening.
The festival program is a week non-stop screening of new movies in several Moscow cinema theatres. The films-participants of the competition program are being selected by the festival’s jury. Submissions are being analysed and accepted by the festival's organization committee during the whole year.
The festival's schedule usually also contains a pre-party and an after-party arranged for the honored guests and winners.
The TV version of the festival is televised by Tricolor TV platform.
The festival specializes in all sub-genres of horror and action film industry, i.e.: cartoon horror, comedy horror, psychological thriller, trash horror, zombie horror, giallo, slasher, suspense, detective, action, fantasy, sci-fi etc. Starting from the year 2013 the festival also specializes in survival horror video games sphere.
The festival is annually visited in person by World-known honored guests. El Festival Virtual de Cortos SOMOS AFRO, se concibe con la idea central de dar cuenta de la identidad de los afro-descendientes en América latina y el Caribe, posibilitando expresar a través del audiovisual, su identidad, las fortalezas y propuestas sociales, culturales, políticas y económicas de sus comunidades.

ПОЭТИЧЕСКОЕ КИНО СОЗЕРЦАНИЯ
Образ кинематографистов во всем их социокультурном многообразии интересует любой фильм в результате личных открытий, исследований или экспериментов, вдохновения и работы, откровений или самоанализа авторов. Повседневность, экстаз и неравенство как факторы, придающие фильму глубину.
АСКЕТИЗМ
Мистицизм и аскетизм в кинопроизводстве, пожалуй, более абсолютны по сравнению с другими, потому что можно снять кинотеатр с огромным бюджетом и большей технической сложностью, но иногда самый скромный и простой фильм, тем не менее, универсален.
ТЕМ НЕ МЕНЕЕ
Непостоянные кинематографы, снятые с нуля, из «любительского» кино (от французского глагола aimer) определяют режиссеров не только по тому, что они показывают и как показывают на экране, но и по тому, что они решают не показывать.
ФЕНОМЕНОЛОГИЯ
Что появляется и исчезает, появление топологий, материалов или сознания, их невидимость или последующее истечение срока их действия. Последовательное окружение пустоты, материи и времени. Охотники за дискурсом, красноречивы, каждый может понять его сам. Отсутствие и чудо: мистики, возможно, сожительствуют друг с другом.
СЕРДЕЧНОСТЬ, ОБЩЕНИЕ И КОЛЛОКВИУМЫ
Большое значение имеют коллоквиумы и живое общение зрителей и кинематографистов. Максимальное общение, уважение, симпатия и близость со стороны организации к кинематографистам, художникам и режиссерам, приезжающим представить свои фильмы.
In March 2004 the 1st international short film festival for films by artists was held in Gstaad, Switzerland, with the ultimate prize being 'The Golden Cow of Gstaad'. For the organisers of Gstaad Film, the event was a great success: Many artists made use of the possibility to present their works at the festival & the quality of the program was high, attracting many films from Switzerland and entries from as far away as Argentina. The three days of the festival gave many possibilities for interesting contacts, not only for we the organisers, but also for a numerous and interested audience who were left excited, enthralled and enriched by the experience.
The positive reaction generated over the three-day period encouraged us to start organising a second festival. To improve the organisation and to give the participants/entrants more time, we decided to organise the festival in a two-year cycle, as a biennale.

Le festival La Garenne\Tout Court propose un projet culturel unique dans les Hauts-de-Seine : une compétition de courts-métrages qui valorisent la création indépendante, française et européenne.
Le festival présentera donc trois sélections de courts-métrages.
La première sera composée de fictions réalisées sans le soutien du CNC ni des chaînes de télévision. Non pas que le festival s’inscrive contre ces sources de financement, mais nous ne voulons pas créer un énième festival où seraient exposés des films qui ont déjà une belle vie ailleurs.
La Garenne\Tout Court, c’est un espace de diffusion parallèle, dédié aux œuvres insolites, un soutien à la diffusion de films plus fragiles.
La deuxième aura pour ambition de faire découvrir des films originaux venus de toute l’Europe.
La troisième sélection aura pour objectif de sensibiliser le jeune public autour d’un ciné-p’tit déj.
Aucun genre n’est imposé, la seule contrainte déterminée à l’avance est celle de la durée : 15 minutes pour les sélections française et européenne et 10 minutes pour le ciné-p’tit déj.
Un comité de présélection composé de membres de l’association 2euxième Acte retiendra une trentaine de films. Les films sélectionnés devront répondre à des impératifs d’originalité, de qualités artistiques mais aussi techniques.
Le festival La Garenne\Tout Court est également un lieu de convergence entre les acteurs du monde cinématographique et un moment de rencontre privilégié et convivial avec le grand public.

The On-Line Festival presents films accepted into ALL categories – Drama, Comedy, Horror, Documentary, Animation and the local Three Counties competition. The On-Line Festival will be available for 3 weeks after the festival in Beeston.
The Beeston Oscar, or B’Oscar, is awarded to the best film in the following categories - Drama, Horror, Comedy, Documentary and Animation.
This year a new local competition has been created called Three Counties category, that is split into two sections: Long (up to 15 minutes); and Short (up to 5 minutes). Filmmakers from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire ONLY with films in any genre can submit. The prize pool is amazing because we have teamed up with Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund (MMBF), a UK based international charity that supports filmmakers and actors, so as well as a B’Oscar there is
Three Counties Long - a MMBF Rising Star Award (£150 prize, mentoring plus physical award and other perks)
Three Counties Short - a MMBF Best Short Award (£50 prize and physical award).
Further prizes will be awarded for Best Director, Best Script, Best Cinematography, Best Acting Performance, Best Soundtrack & Sound Design and an Audience award, too. And, of course, there is a wonderful Best in Festival B’Oscar, too, designed by the renowned ceramic artist, Anna Collette Hunt.
