The International Film Fair of Manizales FICMA will perform its eighth version from August 23 to 27, 2017 in the city of Manizales - Colombia. The selection is open theme so that it is invited to directors and producers who wish to participate with their feature films. The best film for the public will be awarded.

The BUDDHA International Film Festival is dedicated to showcasing the spirit, passion, and skill of the best new filmmakers from around the world for audiences around the world.
We are also including and actively supporting not only the finest examples of classic moviemaking, but works that are experimental, breaking ground in new non-narrative forms and crossing over into the video arts. All films will be reviewed as they are submitted, and the best in each category will be chosen to screen at the festival. A jury of industry professionals will then view the finalists and choose the winning selections.
Filmmakers planning on attending should notify the film festival as soon as possible, so their names may be listed in the scheduled program at the venue where their film will be shown.

This theme seeks to generate debate and thought about the processes of resistance that are taking place in Colombia regarding the care and dignification of the territories. We start from the relationship of body and territory, and we claim that in that exercise of counting our territories (those we inhabit and those that forced us to leave) and the struggles that are in them, we are revealing resistances.

Oregon Scream Week is a Horror genre independent international film festival for Horror Films and Horror Comedy Films in Portland, Oregon. Sofia Independent FIlm Festival (So Independent) is the first and most exciting American independent film festival in South East Europe. The Festival’s goal is to present films that don't usually reach the screens in Bulgaria and surrounding regions, and to show a side of American cinema that the audience cannot find in mainstream production. In it's 8th edition, the festival invites new works from american and international independent filmmakers. The festival showcases between 50 and 80 premieres in ten days, followed by exciting parties in the heart of the City of Sofia which was named "Creative City of Film" by UNESCO in 2016.

Festivals need access to films to be able to screen films. Without films screenings at festivals cannot take place. Hence, for participation we need the screener. Due to past bad experience, the data's long travelling distance from one continent to other during playback of films "on the fly" for example European in excess of 10,000km distance away from Australia, continuous and frequent frame freezes ocured during the event, the movies keeps stopping and starting as there was no continuous connection, low bandwidth and relatively slow speed (Australia has a slower internet than many countries around the world). Its a fact.
Nobody wants to watch a film that keeps stopping and starting.
This kind of technical glitch makes some films unwatchable, if played back from Vimeo, Festhome listing platform. Hence a screener download is a MUST be provided so it an be watched flawlessly, without interruptions, and without getting skipping, lagging frames etc. Thank you for your understanding. CIFF Admin
