One of the main events dedicated to the promotion of contemporary production of Ibero-American animation cinema reaches its 18th edition punctuated with attractions, in addition to the already traditional parade of the main animated productions in Portuguese and Spanish.

Film Festival Ponferrada renews its objectives to specialize in the dissemination and promotion of short films anywhere in the world without taking into account its production, distribution, exhibition, category, gender or theme format.

The festival is being annually held in the city of Moscow since the year 2011 and contains 4 events:
- opening screening
- closing awards ceremony
- master-class and Q&A with movie stars
- film festival competition program screenings in cinema theatres
The Awards ceremony takes place in a big concert venue (changing every year) and consists of the show program and the ceremony of granting awards which is divided into the following jury voting categories:
- awards granted to local film distribution companies for the blockbusters screened in cinema theatres of Russia in the reported year;
- awards granted to young directors and producers as competition program. The category is called “Hope for Survival”;

The festival program is a week non-stop screening of new movies in several Moscow cinema theatres. The films-participants of the competition program are being selected by the festival’s jury. Submissions are being analysed and accepted by the festival's organization committee during the whole year.
The festival's schedule usually also contains a pre-party and an after-party arranged for the honored guests and winners.
The TV version of the festival is televised by Tricolor TV platform.
The festival specializes in all sub-genres of horror and action film industry, i.e.: cartoon horror, comedy horror, psychological thriller, trash horror, zombie horror, giallo, slasher, suspense, detective, action, fantasy, sci-fi etc. Starting from the year 2013 the festival also specializes in survival horror video games sphere.
The festival is annually visited in person by World-known honored guests. FICAMS, Antarctica’s International Film Festival about Environment and Sustainability is a competitive festival that gives and teaches community members, through films, diverse views related to our habitat and culture. The Benin City Film Festival was launched in November 2018, as a new entity that offers a platform encouraging and promoting the works of local (community based) as well as National, and International emerging filmmakers. BCFF is the only independent film festival in Edo State, and the only film festival that takes place in Benin City. BCFF screens premieres of international and national feature films, short films and documentaries on social issues. This year edition, with the theme CREATIVE BEYOUND THE PANDEMIC is scheduled to take place at Film House Cinema, Benin City from 17th – 20th November, 2021 marks its 4th edition.

Objectives
The primary objectives of the Festival are to provide a resourceful platform:
