The International Boat of Culture Festival presents its Short Film Fest, with the aim of raising awareness of the different aspects of diversity.
With the motto “Sail. Explore. Create – The taste of Diversity”, our festival focal point is to gather voices from all over the world talking about multiculturalism through short films.
What is the taste of Diversity?
Does it taste sweet? bitter? or is it a taste that changes throughout the time, context, and other elements?
The concept of diversity of our festival is wide and includes all forms of life and expression.
We accept all themes and genres, taking into account the limitation of lenght per short.

The second Festival Internacional de Curtmetratges de la Bisbal d’Empordà will take place on August 3 – 5, 2017 at Torre Maria gardens.
After almost 2.500 submissions from more than 100 countries and about 600 total viewers in the last edition, FIC.BiE will continue on working to keep film activities in la Bisbal d’Empordà.
This year will consist in two different sections: one will be the international section and the second one will be the one with specific production from Girona “GiCurts”.
Short films selected on both sections will also participate in a poster design contest. The exhibition will be available weeks before the event will take place and will be placed in an indoor location of la Bisbal (to be determined).
On 2016 we also organised some workshops for high schools of the village and we collaborated with the women’s collective, organising a micro short film contest against gender violence.
CineEast – Short Film Festival Berlin is a platform for filmmakers from Eastern Europe and the Middle East. From the 29th – 30th July 2016, we will dive into their world presenting short films that will make us ponder, laugh and discover. Be it fiction or experimental, the festival will showcase films from regions currently garnering most attention for migration. It is our mission to give voice to the particular and provide our audience with intriguing, diverse and creative films.
The festival is founded on the belief in film as a medium able to provide empathy. Through the well known language of film we can access what other peoples lives, minds or ideas look like. Be it an enigmatic visual language or a fragment of everyday life.

Nowadays mass media devote special attention to environmental issues. Every year state of our planet is getting worse. Participants of the festival are calling to rescue the world. They are real professionals that live TV and films.
Their works are worth of recognition. The main award - the Golden Loon - gives to participants an opportunity to create new films that could affect people' world view. Today the importance to respect nature can be reveal through the TV screen. The main thing is to do it properly. And International Ecological TV Festival "To Save and Preserve teaches and promote this thing.
About the Festival
The Bridge Film Fest is an international competitive cultural event that serves to inspire and connect filmmakers and audiences throughout the region and beyond. Filmmakers participating in the Festival attend screenings of their films at the main 400-seat auditorium and other special events designed to allow interaction between filmmakers and audiences.

LE FESTIVAL.
Universo Corto est un festival international de courts métrages qui a débuté à Pise en 2004 et qui aura sa XV édition en 2022.
Il s'agit d'une revue indépendante des courts métrages thématiques gratuits organisés par l'association culturelle Giovani Persone.
Le Festival s'adresse principalement aux étudiants universitaires, post-universitaires et cinématographiques, mais il est également ouvert aux cinéastes indipendants. Depuis la première édition, la présidence de l'événement a été assurée en permanence par le réalisateur Roberto Faenza.

La Otra Banqueta accueille des films de toutes nationalités sur les lesbiennes, les gays, les bisexuels, les intersexes, les transgenres et toute personne consciente de la sexualité sous toutes ses formes en tant que partie intégrante de la personne humaine.
Le musée romain d'Oiasso et le conseil municipal d'Irun organisent le Festival international du film archéologique de la Bidassoa.
L'objectif du festival est de présenter l'archéologie au grand public, à travers la diffusion de matériel audiovisuel issu du travail des archéologues, afin d'assurer la promotion et la diffusion de ces films.
Le festival est célébré depuis 2001 et reçoit quatre prix depuis 2004 : le grand prix du festival, le prix spécial du public, le prix des valeurs éducatives et le prix Arkeolan pour la contribution à la science. Depuis 2006, il fait partie de Fedarcine, le réseau européen des festivals de films archéologiques.

International Kansk Video Festival (Russie/Sibérie) n'est pas un festival de cinéma classique. C'est une expérience dans le temps et l'espace. La petite ville sibérienne de Kansk, a été trouvée sur Internet par hasard et sélectionnée comme son nom correspond au Festival de Cannes, Kansk en langue russe est prononcé de la même manière que Cannes.

Depuis 2002, dans les profondeurs de la Sibérie, le festival se déroule chaque année. Loin de la Côte d'Azur au climat violent de la Taïga, à 7000 km de Londres, à 4500 km de Moscou et à 300 km de Krasnoïarsk par la route des fers, et le chemin de fer transsibérien. Ransäter Filmfestival is short film festival that will be held for the 4th time 4-6 april 2019. Our main purpose is to bring quality short to the small village of Ransäter. We think that it´s important that everyone has the possibility to enjoy and experience film close to where you live so you don't need to go all the way to Stockholm-, Gothenburg- or Uppsala Filmfestivals.
The first day will be a workshop held by Kaisa El Ramly (won best short 2018) the workshop will be dedicated to aspiring young actors. The second day we will screen the selected shorts that are in competition. The third day we will have a retrospective with a director who made the difficult transition from short and feature. The price ceremony will also be held on the third day and we end the festival with a live music act
A jury of three will decide one winner and the audience will decide one winner. If you win you need to be present to receive the price money. At least two of the filmmakers that are selected will be invited to this years festival.

L'InFest Film Festival est un festival de courts métrages de deux jours qui se tient à Rubí, une ville d'asphalte, d'industrie et de fumée située dans les Valles Occidental, une région située près de Barcelone (Espagne).
Le festival InFest apparaît comme une proposition ferme et claire : que Rubí soit connu comme le Rubiwood du district de Vallés. Les courts métrages ne peuvent pas dépasser 15 minutes (crédits exclus). Les films étrangers DOIVENT être doublés ou sous-titrés en espagnol ou en catalan, sinon le film ne sera pas accepté.
En 2025, InFest fêtera sa 10e édition annuelle. Après la pandémie de COVID-19, l'InFest a été transféré dans l'amphithéâtre du château de Rubí (« El Castell »), une construction défensive du XIIIe siècle, qui peut accueillir des événements publics réunissant plus de 2 000 personnes. L'amphithéâtre comprend des sièges, une scène et un bar ! Le prix du jury et le prix du public recevront respectivement 1000 et 250 euros.

Entries requirements:
-> All films must have been made in or after 2012 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken); A creation date does not apply in case of the screen writings from being stopped for submissions, but the submitted must be in English or have a copy translated in English;
-> We accept shorts, documentaries, animations, experimental, music videos, web and new media, commercials (all specified previously under 45 minutes); feature films and feature documentaries (any length, 45 + minutes);
->A description between 50 and 150 words;
->Trailer (not required for movies under 7 minutes; optional) and the film must be submitted as an on-line screener (Vimeo preferred) which may be embedded on the website for visitors to see your creation; you can further opt for modifications in your entry;
