Vienna’s first International Human Rights Film Festival - this human world, is a platform of cinematic art and critical discourse, a space of encounter and dialogue, and a meeting point for young innovative filmmakers, both local and international. We consider cinema not only an artistic form wherein narrative experiences are performed or created, but also an opportunity for the audience to step out of their comfort zone and into dialogue with new challenging realities.
The 11th edition of this human world is taking place in Vienna, from November 29th to December 10th, 2018.

The films shown at this human world are presented in an International competition programme consisting of four different sections and a number of thematic programmes, curated by the festival team, curators, experts, NGOs and partner festivals.
this human world presents outstanding documentary and fictional feature films, short films, animations and experimental films dealing with human rights issues. Films, that aim to encourage people, to scrutinise and re-examine their views and that are wary of human rights and responsibilities. Furthermore the festival programme contains thematic lectures, workshops, talks, panel discussions, performances and a nightline.
this human world ‘s annual competition programme does contain films, that raise social awareness of human rights issues outside the framework of mainstream films and that focus on socio-critical themes. Films, that fascinate and that captivate with their innovation, aesthetically and thematically. The application for the competition programme is open for films from all categories: fictional features, documentaries, animations, experimental films as well as animated and experimental short films produced after January 1st, 2017.
ABYCINE – FESTIVAL Y MERCADO DE CINE INDEPENDIENTE DE ALBACETE tiene entre sus objetivos fundamentales la difusión y promoción de películas y cortometrajes de carácter independiente que, por una u otra razón, no disfrutan de distribución regular en los circuitos convencionales de exhibición.
El Festival trata de cubrir, en la medida de lo posible, este importante vacío. Asimismo, otro de sus propósitos, no menos relevante, es presentar una selección de películas que atiendan a las nuevas corrientes del cine joven contemporáneo, al fenómeno “indie” en el cine español y a la educación de la mirada de las nuevas generaciones de espectadores.

Chaque année, nous mettons en relation les cinéastes avec leur public par le biais de courts métrages, et nous aimerions remercier tout le monde de nous avoir rejoints ! Nous aspirons toujours à devenir l'un des plus grands festivals de films du pays. Nous sommes un festival international de courts métrages. Le festival invite des personnes de toute la région de la capitale de New York et du monde entier. Tout le monde est invité à inscrire ses courts métrages. Nous soutenons également les étudiants et les cinéastes débutants. Nous encourageons tous les types de documentaires, d'animation, de théâtre, de comédie, d'expérimentation, de vidéoclips et de courts métrages d'horreur.
Les films seront visionnés par le public pendant le festival. Nous organisons des panels de questions-réponses tout au long du festival. Notre objectif principal est de célébrer l'art avec vous et votre public. Il est donc important que vous vous amusiez !
L’asbl FIDEC est née en 2001, en même temps que le Festival International des Ecoles de Cinéma dont elle a été l’organisatrice pendant douze ans. L’association et l’événement ont été créés autour de deux principaux objectifs :
Défendre et présenter les courts-métrages de jeunes réalisateurs et étudiants en cinéma, belges et étrangers.
Développer à Huy un événement cinématographique dynamique et ambitieux, autour des cinématographies émergentes et de l’éducation à l’image.
Organisé chaque année en octobre au Centre culturel de Huy, le FIDEC s’est affirmé comme un événement singulier, salué pour la qualité de son accueil et de sa programmation. Premier et unique festival belge d’ampleur internationale dédié aux films d’étudiants, le FIDEC a connu sa dernière édition en octobre 2012.
L’asbl FIDEC poursuit pourtant son action en faveur de la promotion du jeune cinéma.
En 2013, elle a créé Next Generation, une Compétition internationale de films d’écoles, en collaboration avec le Brussels Short Film Festival. Elle a coordonné les aspects artistiques des trois premières éditions du projet.
La même année est né Les Enfants terribles, un Festival des premiers films européens. Il connaîtra sa 4e édition du 20 au 23 octobre 2016 au Centre culturel de Huy.
Depuis la création de celle-ci en 2014, elle participe à l’opération Le Jour le plus court en présentant trois séances de courts-métrages à Huy le 21 décembre.
En juillet 2015, elle a organisé la première Nuit du court-métrage à Huy, avec l’asbl ProMuséa. Une seconde édition est prévue le vendredi 1er juillet 2016 sur la Place verte.
Bendita Tú est un festival de films avec une perspective féministe et queer, dédié à l'exposition d'œuvres audiovisuelles, basé en Espagne et en Argentine.
Conçu comme un espace de rencontre et de réflexion, le festival cherche à créer une communauté et à donner de la visibilité aux œuvres de réalisatrices, de femmes trans et de personnes non binaires du monde entier. Notre ligne curatoriale, localisée et affective, est orientée vers des propositions expérimentales dans les domaines de la non-fiction, du film-essai, de l'art vidéo et des formats hybrides qui sont souvent exclus des circuits traditionnels d'exposition et de distribution.
De même, nous concevons la programmation comme un territoire de dialogue : nous articulons les relations entre les œuvres émergentes et les films de réalisatrices établies afin d'élargir les possibilités d'interprétation, d'activer de nouvelles formes de réception et d'approfondir une esthétique transféministe qui déstabilise les modes de vision hégémoniques.
À Bendita Tú, nous travaillons à la création de réseaux entre les personnes et les divers territoires, guidés par un féminisme intersectionnel qui oriente nos décisions curatoriales et renforce notre engagement en faveur d'une pluralité de voix, d'expériences et de manières de faire du cinéma.
The Association Mozart Italia Terni is pleased to announce the first edition of the Luci Della Ribalta Film Fest, dedicated to Italian and International short films. The entries may be of any genre or theme, run a maximum of 20 minutes and cannot be produced before 2015. The film fest will also be open to music video clips of any genre, which were produced no earlier than 2015.
The Luci Della Ribalta Film Fest will take place during the 7th edition of The International Festival Luci Della Ribalta, dedicated to performing and visual arts.
In fact, this year, the internationally renowned "Luci della ribalta" Festival (over 20 internationally renowned teachers and about 150 students from all over the world) has decided to open up to dance, cinema and theater.
For this purpose, the section dedicated to cinema, "Luci Della Ribalta Film Fest", aims to enhance independent filmmaking, privileging young authors, new languages and, in a particular way, the fusion of different arts especially cinema and music.
Without forgetting the musical nature of the Festival, a section dedicated to music video clips has been created, as well as the special Renato Chiesa "Music and Pictures Award", dedicated to the late composer who passed away before his time. Narni's connection with fantasy genre also inspired the creation of the "Short Fantasy" section.
The International Festival "Luci Della Ribalta” will take place from August 11th to 28th in the beautiful setting of the medieval town of Narni (TR) in Umbria. This festival has been realized in collaboration with the Municipality of Narni and the Carit Foundation, and is sponsored by the Region of Umbria, the province of Terni, the municipalities of Terni and Sangemini, the Terni Chamber of Commerce, the Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg and Forum for Austrian culture.
The festival will feature a large variety of musical, theatrical, cinematographic and dance events. In addition, like every year, there will be a section dedicated to masterclasses.
The final evening, including the award ceremony and projection of the finalist short films and video clips, will be on August 26, 2017.
A commission appointed by the Artistic Director of the Festival will meet for the selection of the works
This panel of experts will evaluate and judge the selected works and award the following prizes:
• BEST SHORT FILM (INTERNATIONAL SECTION), which will consist of a cash prize of EUR 300 and a plaque.
• BEST VIDEOCLIP, which will consist of a cash prize of EUR 100 and a plaque.
• RENATO CHIESA SPECIAL AWARD “MUSIC AND PICTURES”, which will be awarded for the best soundtrack in a Short Film or for the best use of images in the service of music in a classic music video clip and will consist of a cash prize of EUR 150 and a plaque.
• BEST FANTASY SHORT FILM, which will consist of a plaque.
In addition, the second and third place entrants of the "Short International" section will be awarded with a plaque.
For the 6 winners of the film fest, accommodation costs in the city of Narni for the night of the awards ceremony will be covered.
The committee will consist of prominent members of the Italian and international film and music scene. The prizes will be awarded according to their judgment, which will not be subject to appeal.
The registration will cost 18 euros for the short international section (15 euros for videomaking schools), 7 euros for the short fantasy section and 10 euros for the videoclip section. In addition, there will be discounted rates for registrations received by June 13, 2017.

Amounts paid include the compulsory membership fee for registration at the Mozart Italia Association of Terni.

Reimbursement of the registration fee is only required if the organization decides to cancel the competition for causes independent of the participants' will.

All films must be produced and shooted in the mediterranean countries or in countries with strong cultural links.
a) The Meditrranean countries are: Albania, Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Egypt, Slovenia, Spain, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lybia, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Monaco, Montenegro, Palestine, Syria, Turkey, Tunisia and Cyprus.
b) The countries with strong cultural links are: Jordan, Kurdistan territories (Iran, Irak, Syria, Turkey), Mauritania, Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Portugal and Romania.c)As a special case films shooted at Kurdistan territories should be at least 50% in Kurdish language.

BEAST International Film Festival is now opening the call for entries for its second edition. This in an opportunity to bring your film to a different audience, connect with other directors, actors, editors and much more. Submit your film and give it the chance to be seen on the big screens of Porto’s cinemas, between 26th and 30th of September 2018.
One of BEAST’s aim is to provide a platform for young Eastern European artists, or Portuguese artists living in Eastern Europe - for our Portuguese Abroad section, to present their work in a western country, Portugal. Last year, BEAST IFF screened films that represented over 22 countries from Eastern Europe, in 5 venues located in the heart of Porto, Portugal. The festival has 3 competition sections: East Wave, East Doc, and ExperimentalEast, but you can also submit films for our special sections: BEAST Kids and Portuguese Abroad. Submissions are free between 15th of December 2017 - 1st of January 2018. The call for entries is open until the 1st of July 2018.

Friday Harbor Film Festival features 3 days of award winning documentary films about the diverse cultures and environments of the Pacific Rim. The central theme of this edition is "Territories, showing resistance".
This theme seeks to generate debate and thought about the processes of resistance that are taking place in Colombia regarding the care and dignification of the territories. We start from the relationship of body and territory, and we claim that in that exercise of counting our territories (those we inhabit and those that forced us to leave) and the struggles that are in them, we are revealing resistances.
Le Most Festival est un événement annuel qui vise à présenter les meilleures œuvres audiovisuelles internationales liées à la viniculture, au vin et au cava. Dans le même temps, le festival vise à porter un toast au bon cinéma en projetant des films inédits de grands auteurs.
