The cinema is more than alive in the Canary Islands, and more in the island of La Palma.
The Festival of Cinema made in the Canary Islands (#MadeInSecuencia27) is a festival that was born with the aim of promoting and disseminating audiovisual creation through sportsmanship and teamwork, both among fans and professionals, throughout the Canarian archipelago and arises as an initiative of the Cultural Association La Farola Films and its youth section known as the Infant and Youth School of Cinema "Sequence 27".
FECICA is celebrated between the municipalities of Puntallana, Barlovento and San Andrés y Sauces under a written and visual motto that changes in each edition.
with the image of the Punta Cumplida de Barlovento Lighthouse next to the Los Tilos Bridge of San Andrés y Sauces and the Monument to Salto del Enamorado de Puntallana.
The Festival has two competitive sections of the event: the 'General Section', which has short films shot throughout the Canary Islands and the 'Section 32 hours', in which filming takes place on site (between Puntallana, Windward and San Andrés and Sauces ), within the duration of the show itself, in just one and a half days, making this section the hardest cinematographic creation challenge in the Canary Islands. We also have the 'Media and Feature Films Section', a non-competitive section to promote the latest feature films and medium films made in the Canary Islands.
Thanks to this festival, which pursues the coexistence between participants, audience and young people of the Film School, more than the competition between them, the island of La Palma is already a "movie island", which has five festivals more audiovisuals (Festivalito, Tiempo Sur, TazaCortos and La Palma Anime Film Festival). All of them collaborate with this Film Show and are completed with other audiovisual contests throughout the island territory.
It is a festival in which the jury is the children and youth of the association, something unique in our country and that makes it different from other festivals. A festival open to everyone for everyone, without discrimination.

The self-portrait has been a constant practice in art-and a imperative practice since it is called selfie-but not in audiovisual products. And now we are mired in the mode of the Videosphere.
At ESAT (Higher School of Art and Technology) we believe that the configuration of a stable and sustainable future depends, more than ever, on creativity. The future will be in the hands of those who know how to convert a creative act into a creator. So, in ESAT we bet on talent.
That's why ESAT has thought that a good way to start an audiovisual contest is to dedicate a first edition to meet those people who possess that potential that is so necessary to improve an immediate future.
Therefore, the theme of this first event will consist of a kind of "personal presentation", a self-portrait made in audiovisual format, an audiovisual selfie. The audiovisual must contain what the author feels identified, a "short film", ultimately where he himself is in some way the protagonist. A coincidence that can be narrated in multiple ways and through the genre and format that each one considers more opportune.

We continue to accept submissions but please not your film will be submitted to the 2020 edition NOT 2019. This is due to Government elections on Madeira.
Teatro Municipal Baltazar Dias, Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.
The entry fee is 30 / 40 / 50 Euros depending upon submissions date and irrespective of genre and running time. Exhibiting filmmakers will be offered 3 nights accommodation including breakfast on Madeira during the festival.

The Madeira Film Festival is non – competitive. Rather than present awards MFF offers delegates the status of ‘AMBASSADOR OF THE LAURISSILVA’ thus helping to preserve and create awareness of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva forest.
The Madeira Film Festival organisation fervently believes there is no better place in the world to stage a film festival than on the piquant Island of Madeira and there is no better place on Madeira to stage a film festival than in glorious Reid’s Palace Hotel and the Municipal Theatre in Funchal.
The crux of the Madeira Film Festival is to pay homage to the resilience of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva Forest by screening a slate of films which are expansive, unsettling and profound,films which will hopefully impinge upon the viewers imagination.
One of the most effective measures that can be implemented in order to raise awareness of the Laurissilva forest and subsequently it’s preservation is through the undisputed persuasive strength of audio- visual communication. The aspiration of the Madeira Film Festival is to become one of Europe’s foremost film festivals, by sheer virtue of location there exists an inherent capacity to attain this.
This Festival is born, as a stream of Aguaespejo Granada, following the teachings on poetic mechanisms of participatory experience and expanded cinema of the filmmaker and Granada-born inventor Val del Omar.
The idea is to promote poetic and experimental cinema and extend its presence to the geography of our city.
Cinespejo Festival, to be held in Las Gabias in 2019, aims to be a benchmark for the public who loves cinema and poetry.

O Street Art Movie Fest foi criado como parte do Grenoble Street Art Fest, um dos maiores festivais dedicados à arte de rua desde 2015. O Street Art Movie Fest é destinado a todos os produtores que lidam com arte de rua em todos os tipos de formatos, de longas-metragens a formatos da web, como GIF animado. Em parceria com a Cinemateca de Grenoble (CNC Labelled), nos permitiu construir uma coleção arquivada dos melhores documentos audiovisuais, cada vez traduzidos e legendados para obras em uma língua estrangeira. As seis categorias de formatos são: longas-metragens, curtas-metragens, documentários, filmes animados, lapsos de tempo e GIF animado.
Revelation começou a vida em 1997 como um evento “underground” no porão do Greenwich Club, na época mais suave de Perth jazz e música. Todos os trabalhos foram exibidos puramente em filme de 16mm e o festival também contou com música ao vivo, poesia e apresentações de convidados. Revelation foi projetado para mostrar uma gama de obras únicas e progressivas curtas, longas-metragens, documentários, arquivísticas e animadas que estavam na vanguarda do cinema underground contemporâneo, ao mesmo tempo contextualizando essas obras através de uma variedade de programas de arquivo curados destacando pontos fundamentais em filmagem independente.
Rapidamente superando os arredores íntimos do Greenwich Club, o Revelation agora abrange locais por Perth e Fremantle e apresenta alguns dos filmes mais aclamados da cena do festival internacional de cinema e inclui obras de galeria e instalação, apresentações ao vivo, uma conferência acadêmica e um seminário único e uma série de masterclass. A penetração no mercado da Revelation está hoje no seu mais abrangente de sempre, engajando novos públicos locais, nacionais e internacionais.

O Festival Internacional de Cinema em Gornji Milanovac (doravante: o Festival) será realizado de 26 de setembro a 10 de outubro de 2023 em Gornji Milanovac, República da Sérvia. O Festival é um evento que, em seu programa, valoriza e promove os valores artísticos do cinema contemporâneo.
O Festival pretende apresentar as principais direções e gêneros na criação de filmes, iniciar contatos entre cineastas, autores, público... e apresentar as mais recentes realizações na produção cinematográfica. O Festival é destinado a todos os amantes do cinema.
O principal objetivo do Festival é a promoção do cinema, bem como a educação em cultura audiovisual.
Bašta Fest é um festival internacional de curta-metragem realizado em Bajina Bašta, oeste da Sérvia. É um evento anual que está ocorrendo durante o primeiro fim de semana de julho e dura quatro dias. Devido à profissão dos fundadores (atores Jovan Jelisavčić e Maja Šuša), o principal ponto de interesse do festival é uma colaboração entre diretores e atores. Acreditamos que focar na qualidade desse esforço artístico conjunto terá um impacto positivo no posicionamento do Bašta Fest entre os festivais de curtas-metragens. Bašta Fest é de grande importância para a descentralização da cultura, uma vez que trouxe diversos filmes, músicas e programas para esta bela região. Uma das prioridades do festival é promover a incrível beleza natural para um grande número de visitantes. No entanto, nosso principal objetivo é converter este festival em um oásis cultural emocionante, que apoia jovens artistas locais e internacionais, colocando ênfase em curtas-metragens de ficção com autenticidade. A seleção principal é um programa de curtas-metragens de competição, enquanto dois filmes são exibidos como parte do programa especial não competitivo todos os anos - um durante a abertura e outro durante a cerimônia de encerramento. O último a ser exibido é um longa-metragem sérvio, escolhido pela equipe de festas Bašta como o mais bem sucedido no ano anterior. A entrada para todas as exibições em Bašta é gratuita, enquanto elas estão sempre sendo mantidas sob os céus noturnos abertos. Atualmente, existem dois locais oficiais do festival: o parque Borići e o lago Perućac.
O Prokuplje Short Film Festival, fundado em 2011, é o festival de cinema mais jovem da Sérvia. In Prokplje é um evento onde o público pode ver o melhor do campo do documentário, experimental, animação e ficção de todo o mundo. Milhares de filmes de todo o mundo chegam ao endereço do festival, e isso foi refletido pelo grande público em Prokuplje, mas também em outras cidades da Sérvia e da região, porque a equipe organiza uma turnê na qual os melhores filmes são apresentados em mais de 30 cidades. A falta do cinema, assim como a falta de um filme como disciplina na escola, impede que os jovens aprendam sobre essa arte.
Para ver algo desse conteúdo, os jovens devem ir a Nis, ou mesmo a Belgrado. Esta é uma oportunidade de ver as últimas conquistas de curtas-metragens de todo o mundo em Prokuplje. Nos últimos anos, de acordo com pesquisas, houve um declínio na participação do público nos festivais em todo o mundo. Então, por causa disso e por causa da introdução do filme aos jovens, trouxemos o trabalho com eles, em todas as escolas primárias e secundárias, que são públicos potenciais e serão animadas pela apresentação de filmes do festival e pela discussão sobre o significado do Festival. Além de trabalhar com jovens em Prokuplje, o Film Club Prokuplje é o primeiro a começar a animar o público das áreas rurais, que estão completamente excluídas de todos os eventos, especialmente os culturais.
EVENT DATES. The XXII edition of the Guanajuato International Film Festival will be celebrated from July 19-28, 2019, in the cities of San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato, Mexico.
BuSho (Budapest Short) was established in the autumn of 2004 by a group of young Hungarian filmmakers and the first event successfully ran its course the following year. The festival became an international breakthrough in an exceptionally short period of time. We had plenty of festival screenings, selections of film academies, conferences, exhibitions, film-, and all-art workshops in the program. Our main target group is the generation of developing young filmmakers but we are very delighted at every entry. This film celebration takes place in Budapest in the late summer of 2019.

O Festival Internacional de Curtas-Metragens Universitárias “CINESTESIA FEST” é um espaço cultural internacional que nasceu em 2017 na Fundação Universitária Los Libertadores, localizada em Bogotá, Cartagena, Colômbia.
O principal objetivo é oferecer espaços para novos cineastas e estudantes audiovisuais afiliados a uma universidade de qualquer país do mundo, para poderem exibir seus projetos, gerar laços de reconhecimento e reflexão, capacitar o público. 2020 será o nosso 14º ano no Reino Unido de exibir filmes premiados de mais de 40 países de uma variedade de gêneros, desde micro animações a dramas épicos de longas-metragens seguidas de discussões pós-exibição provocadoras e inspiradoras e estamos apenas no início da nossa jornada nos EUA.
O nome do festival foi inspirado por uma jovem, chamada Anel, de uma área empobrecida de Moçambique que queria que o mundo conhecesse a sua história e a história de tantos outros ao redor do mundo.
Adoramos histórias que nos desafiam, nos admiram, nos abalam até o núcleo de nossos seres e abrem nossas mentes para outras possibilidades. O festival do Reino Unido é exibido em parceria com o Vue Cinemas em Londres. O festival dos EUA é exibido em conjunto com Cinemas Cinepolis no sul da Flórida.

The Grecanica International Film Festival aims to host Documentaries, Animations, Music films produced anywhere in the world aimed at enhancing and promoting human rights, dignity, equality, lands, peoples, cultures, linguistic or historical minorities, popular and ethnic music from international productions.
The videos admitted to the competition must be in Italian or, if in other languages, they must have italian subtitles.
Subscriptions will only be made online through the site that will be advertised on newspapers and on the web.
The festival will include a series of excursions to promote the Calabrian Greek territory and enhance the language, minority culture, musical and gastronomic traditions of the entire Graekanic Area.
Stage and thematic meetings with language, culture, traditions and local gastronomy will be provided.
