The IMF, now is through its 5th edition, has been established as a platform for showcasing innovative motion art videos, spanning from motion graphics, to 2D and 3D animation, video art, and shorts in the wider Mediterranean region.
The 5th International Motion Festival (IMF) will take place on 6 - 9 May 2019!
It is organized by the Department of Arts of the European University Cyprus in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The IMF aims to open a forum for the presentation of the most contemporary and most creative work in the world of motion and thus to be established as the Pioneering Festival that promotes innovative and cutting-edge work.

GEOFILMFESTIVAL은 환경을 주제로 모든 운영자, 영화 제작자 및 일반 대중에게 경쟁과 혁신을 제공하고자 합니다. 지구, 물, 불, 공기는 중형 단편 영화의 제작 및 제작을 목표로 합니다. 그래서 시네마 오브 더 엘리먼츠 (Cinema of the Elements) 는 우리 각자가 참여하여 직업적, 사회적, 도덕적인 목표로 삼도록 부름을 받았습니다.
영화는 다시 한 번 뉴스와 문명의 전파자입니다. 영화 프로젝션을 통한 문화 보급과 함께 GEOFILMFESTIVAL - The Cinema of the Elements는 세계의 환경 문제에 대한 관심을 연결합니다.
피아티코르티는 2000년에 이스트라나의 “청소년 프로젝트”에 참여한 일부 구성원의 아이디어에서 탄생했습니다.
이 행사의 이름이 선정된 이유는 두 가지입니다. 첫째로, '호흡곤란' (피아토 코르토) 은 짧은 시간 (단편 영화와 동일한 시간) 의 신체적 노력의 결과입니다. 게다가 최대 20분까지 이어지는 영화는 관객에게 강렬한 감정을 전달하여 관객을 '숨이 막힐 지경' 상태로 만들 수 있습니다.
처음에는 피아티코르티를 하룻밤, 즉 시상식의 밤으로 압축했습니다. 하지만 4회부터는 형식이 강화되어 페스티벌은 네 단계에 걸쳐 진행되며, 이 기간 동안 최고의 작품이 상영됩니다.
2006년에는 베네토 지역의 단편 영화 제작자들을 포상하기 위해 섹션 FiatiVeneti가 도입되었습니다.
2011년은 피아티코르티의 전환점이었습니다. 오랜 예술 감독이었던 지아니 빌리오 (Gianni Billio) 는 바르톨로 아이롤디 사가리가 (신임 예술 감독), 안드레아 그레스팬, 시몬 페로토에게 지휘봉을 넘겼을 뿐만 아니라, 프랑스, 영국, 루마니아, 스페인 등을 중심으로 한 외국인 참가자들의 수와 함께 경쟁 작품의 질이 급격히 높아졌다. 피아티코르티는 점차 국제 행사로 자리잡았다.
하지만 70년대 이탈리아 필름 클럽 문화와 연결된 이 페스티벌의 정체성은 항상 변함이 없습니다. 그 목표는 단편 영화에 대한 문화와 열정을 전달하는 것입니다. 그래서 아트 디렉션은 페스티벌과 다른 종류의 행사를 함께 진행하지 않기로 결정했습니다.
The aim of IBERSHORTS is to give international visibility to fiction and animation short films produced in Ibero-American countries (including Portugal and excluding Spain).
IBERSHORTS is organized by Festival de Málaga in collaboration with Festhome and seeks to strengthen cultural and cinematic ties between these regions, offering a privileged platform within one of the most important festivals in the Spanish and Latin American film scenes.
