We introduce the new world’s independent filmmakers to Russian spectators, show best Russian and world’s new films to distributors and broaden the exchange of experience between Russian, European, Asian and American cinema art schools.
Reel Affirmations: Washington DC's International LGBT Film Festival is proud to announce we are now a part of The DC Center Arts Program.
The DC Center is Washington DC's Community Center for the LGBT Community. We are simultaneously partnering with The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) in regard to presenting our monthly film series and The Tivoli Theater in Washington DC in presenting our Fall Film Festival.
Both the DC Center and HRC are amazing organizations with strong ties in the community locally and globally. This is a perfect fit for Reel Affirmations.
With this union, Reel Affirmations has re-launched its monthly film series, Reel Affirmations XTRA and will be bringing back Reel Affirmations: Washington DC's International LGBT Film Festival in late August 2015.
Reel Affirmations is Washington DC's International Film Festival. We are in our 23nd year and the festival takes place in August 2015.Since its first festival, Reel Affirmations has grown to include a companion Pride Film Festival, special screenings throughout the year with a variety of community partnerships, and a grant program to support LGBT filmmakers. The DC Center has an extensive arts program that help tell the stories of LGBT lives.that includes, OUTWRITE: LGBT Book Festival, The DC Queer Theatre Festival and Capturing FirePoetry Slam.
Since 2003 the international Festival SIGNES DE NUIT is active in Paris, Berlin, Saarbrücken and with special screenings world wide. The festival in Paris actually presents around 300 films coming from around 50 countries at different places in Paris. In Berlin the festival will be performed in the legendary cinema Babylon.
The International Festival SIGNES DE NUIT based in Paris is made up of films, which reflects new views, original imagery and critical approach to the crucial points of the modern human existence. It is a place for cinema that expands its own boundaries, that is astonishing, different, potentially free from the pressure of tradition, ready to give itself to the unpredictable experimentation.
The minor costs of digital production makes an independant- from comercial influences and any kind of censorship- production possible. These independant productions create an alternative, an artistic space very subtle and accessible to all, in contrast to what mass media offer.

BuSho (Budapest Short) was established in the autumn of 2004 by a group of young Hungarian filmmakers and the first event successfully ran its course the following year. The festival became an international breakthrough in an exceptionally short period of time. We had plenty of festival screenings, selections of film academies, conferences, exhibitions, film-, and all-art workshops in the program. Our main target group is the generation of developing young filmmakers but we are very delighted at every entry. This film celebration takes place in Budapest in the late summer of 2019.
Le FEU ! Mostra est le premier festival de films LGBT en Espagne : créé en 1995 par Casal Lambda, à Barcelone, il aborde la diversité affective dans son sens le plus large à travers une sélection rigoureuse de longs métrages, de documentaires et de courts métrages. Une sélection de films d'art et d'essai et une approche pédagogique en sont les principales caractéristiques.
Pendant deux semaines au début du mois de juin, principalement à l'Institut français mais également dans d'autres lieux intérieurs ou en plein air de la ville, un large public est invité à découvrir ce monument culturel de Barcelone, avec des histoires et des témoignages de personnes libres, de créateurs qui brisent les barrières et de défenseurs des droits humains, qui contribuent tous avec amour à construire un monde plus juste et plus libre.
Le nom du festival est un hommage au magazine new-yorkais du même nom de la fin des années 20, FIRE ! , dirigé par l'écrivain gay noir Richard Bruce Nugent, incarné dans l'un des films les plus emblématiques du festival, Brother to Brother, que nous avons projeté il y a quelques années.

Over the past 3 years, the film industry of Philadelphia has come together to make this city an active spot for short films from around the world to be screened and celebrated. Average Superstar films has stepped up and lead the way for this massive event. This event truly gives both local and international filmmakers their due. It is held at the world famous Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia. With a $60,000 sound system, and a FULL screen, the theater seats up to 600 movie-goers. These events are held quarterly (one per season). The event runs for 3 hours, with a big networking party going on in the lobby area. News outlets and press are active at this event. Celebrities from all walks of life have shown up at this event. We are only accepting online screeners. There are a variety of ways to submit your screener to us (YouTube, Vimeo, or through one of the online submission services). This will SAVE YOU MONEY! These events are 21 and up.

The ZOOM Student Film Festival is a prestigious student event that is internationally renowned for showcasing undiscovered aspiring filmmakers. Awards are presented by the ZOOM Board of Directors to recognize exemplary achievement in promising filmmakers and encourage them to pursue their dreams within the film industry. Most recently, the local Toronto festival has broadened it's scope - accepting submissions from international students. The ZOOM Student Film Festival has lead many filmmakers to great success and connects thousands of filmmakers from around the world every year.

« One Shot » promeut la production de films indépendants en Arménie. Les films soumis n'ont aucune limite quant au format de tournage. Les films peuvent être tournés sur des téléphones portables, des films et des caméras HD. La compétition comprend trois catégories : « One Minute - One Shot », « Short Movies » et « Cinema Without Border ». Il existe également des programmes spéciaux et des tables rondes.
Le festival international du court métrage « One Shot » est une plateforme de cinéma ouverte. Elle a été fondée en 2003.
Le président fondateur est Gagik Ghazareh. Organisation fondatrice : Centre arménien pour l'art expérimental contemporain. Le symbole du festival représente une statue tridimensionnelle d'une ancienne sculpture rupestre de la montagne Geghama vieille de 5000 ans.
Le Festival international du court métrage Psarokokalo est un festival annuel organisé en Grèce depuis 2007. Le festival vise à mettre en valeur le travail de nouveaux cinéastes du monde entier et à promouvoir la diversité et la richesse du court métrage. Le festival fait partie d'un projet visant à rechercher, promouvoir et développer l'art du cinéma. Le programme du festival comprend des projections de courts métrages grecs et étrangers ainsi que des événements audiovisuels, des conférences, des masterclasses, des expositions et des concerts en direct. La qualité de ses projections, de ses conférences et de ses expositions en a fait un point de référence pour les cinéphiles, les cinéastes, les professionnels et les nouveaux artistes. Chaque année, les activités du festival se sont étendues, recevant une plus grande participation de différents pays et bénéficiant d'un soutien accru de la part des cinéastes et des professionnels. Le festival vise à traverser les frontières pour développer un esprit d'amitié et de coopération avec des festivals internationaux et des cinéastes du monde entier. The International Film Festival for Environment, Health, and Culture was established to participate in making a cleaner and better environment, raise the quality of life and maintain an intercultural relationship for better acceptance and deeper understanding of people and diversity in life. Our main mission is to promote films about the environment, health, and culture issues, carrying skillful methods of storytelling, produced with excellent technique and crafted with passion and love for humanity. International Film Festival for Environment, Health, and Culture is one of the members of a big festivals group internationalfilmfestivals.org. The Festivals Group is aimed to help to promote the goals of the United Nations in celebrating international days of peace, women, anti-discrimination, tolerance, youth, family, humanitarian, human rights, health, autism, disability, and more.
We receive submissions from all over the world. The festival accepts feature and short film, and documentary (any length), and we welcome ambitious newcomers to star their excellent films. We accept all kind of films besides environment and health because this festival is also about modern and traditional culture.
The festival appreciates all the hard work every department contributes to making a film. With an all-in-one package, juries of the festival will value various performances such as directing, cinematography, editing, performance, story, acting, sound, production design, costume design, music, etc. The festival would give separate awards if they got selected.
Participating in the global community events, celebrating the World Health Day (7 April), World Lupus Day (10 May), World Cultural Day (21 May), and World Environment Day (5 June), the Festival will conduct its Awards Ceremony on June 2019.
Our past winners include many Hollywood stars. We conduct a press conference, awards ceremony, workshop, and dozens of films are screened. Working together with the largest Indonesian cinema network, several private foundations and international culture centers, and having good connection with influential members of high-ranking society, the festival has managed to conduct yearly outstanding awards ceremony attended by kings, sultans, queen, ministers, senators, parliament members, notable guests, artists, and leading newspapers.
