The Belgian Fantastic Pitchbox is a call organized by the BIF Market in Belgium, focused on the development of fiction feature-length genre film projects. The call is national only, open exclusively to creators based in Belgium, and does not accept international submissions.
Eligible projects must belong to the genre cinema field, including fantasy, horror, thriller, science fiction, surrealism, black comedy, and crime, and must be in the development stage. La Industry Academy Chile es un programa de formación intensiva creado por el Festival de Locarno en 2014, diseñado para fomentar la innovación en jóvenes profesionales de la industria cinematográfica. El enfoque del programa está en áreas clave como distribución, ventas, marketing cinematográfico, exhibición y programación de festivales.
Este programa se lleva a cabo en colaboración con SANFIC (Santiago Festival Internacional de Cine) en Chile, con el objetivo de proporcionar a los participantes herramientas prácticas y estratégicas para fortalecer sus habilidades en la industria audiovisual. La Industry Academy Chile se desarrolla durante el marco de SANFIC, el cual es un importante espacio para el cine independiente latinoamericano y mundial.
Durante la academia, los participantes tienen la oportunidad de asistir a masterclasses, workshops, sesiones de mentoría y actividades de networking, que les permiten ampliar su red de contactos y fortalecer su presencia en el mercado internacional.
