MECAS (Cine por Hacer) is a section of the Mercado del Cine Casi Hecho, an annual event held at the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival. It is aimed at film projects in the development stage, supporting emerging filmmakers from Europe and Latin America in securing financing and establishing professional connections. The goal is to promote independent cinema through mentoring, industry meetings, and awards that help bring projects to completion.

The Pitch Guadalajara – Fantastic Genre is a call for Ibero-American feature film projects in development, with a running time over 70 minutes, focusing on horror, fantasy, and science fiction. Applications are open from January 12 to February 13, 2026, and selected projects will participate during the Guadalajara International Film Festival, taking place from April 17 to April 25, 2026, in Guadalajara, Mexico. The ECAM Last Push program is part of the ECAM Forum 2026 in Madrid, Spain, and is aimed at feature films in the editing or post-production phase. The Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT 2026 call, within its Drama Series Pitch section, will take place in Mallorca, Spain, from May 25 to May 28, 2026. The submission deadline was extended until March 19, 2026, which is the latest official application date currently announced. The call is open to international applicants, allowing companies or representatives of any nationality to submit projects intended for international co-production and market circulation.

This opportunity belongs to the Pitch industry category, designed for presenting projects to producers, broadcasters, platforms, and audiovisual market decision-makers. It accepts only TV fiction series in development, particularly drama or dramedy projects planned as a first season.
