Stonefair International Film Festival is an online and live film festival, headquartered in Piatra-Neamt, Romania. Stonefair IFF is committed to supporting access to film in all of Piatra-Neamt community as well as supporting young film makers in their education.
The festival runs in 3 quarters, selections and screenings being made every 4 months, the third edition is due to take place on the 8th of May, 2017.
There will be 16 categories and Best Film will receive the Stonefair IFF Trophy, the winning films will be screened at the "G. T. Kirileanu" Public Library.
The "G. T. Kirileanu" Public Library has an important role in community with 85.000 inhabitants. The "G.T. Kirileanu" Neamt County Public Library co-ordinates the activity of the public libraries of our county and furthers the Piatra-Neamt Municipality and Neamt county inhabitants interests in reading, study, information, film, education and recreation.
The Ourense Film Festival (OUFF) presents annually a selection of the most innovative and outstanding films and audiovisual productions in Galicia, Europe, Latin America and the rest of the world. The OUFF receives each year works from a hundred of countries, whose common denominator are their socially aware subjects and their innovative forms.

Blacklight Film + Video Series is currently seeking submissions for the upcoming Trouble Found Me film screening on October 16th, 2016 at Sediment Arts in Richmond, VA.
We are seeking narrative short films that touch on subjects of broken innocence //shattering of the adolescent bubble. Bad Dreams. Bad Ideas. Poor Execution. Themes of the paranormal welcome, given the season!
Submissions must be under 15 minutes in length and all genres are accepted. Work can be traditional or experimental and can be created in any film/video medium (VHS, Super 8, DSLR, etc.). Multiple submissions are accepted.

Since 2003 the international Festival SIGNES DE NUIT is active in Paris, Berlin, Saarbrücken and with special screenings world wide. The festival in Paris actually presents around 300 films coming from around 50 countries at different places in Paris. In Berlin the festival will be performed in the legendary cinema Babylon.
The International Festival SIGNES DE NUIT based in Paris is made up of films, which reflects new views, original imagery and critical approach to the crucial points of the modern human existence. It is a place for cinema that expands its own boundaries, that is astonishing, different, potentially free from the pressure of tradition, ready to give itself to the unpredictable experimentation.
The minor costs of digital production makes an independant- from comercial influences and any kind of censorship- production possible. These independant productions create an alternative, an artistic space very subtle and accessible to all, in contrast to what mass media offer.
This opposition and the preservation of the free cultural space is the goal of the International Festival Signes de Nuit, which has realized screenings and interventions in 29 different countries including Algeria, Australia, Chile, Cuba, Lebanon, Lithuania, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Peru, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey and the United States beside the screenings in main festival in Paris.
Amal is a cultural film event of reference, held annually since 2003. Its first edition was conceived as an audiovisual showcase and, after its success, in 2005 it took a step further to become an international competitive festival; the first and only Euro-Arab Film Festival in Europe at that time. After twelve editions, it has once again become a competitive festival, leaving behind the character of an exhibition, aspiring to favour the synergies created between producers, filmmakers and the public. The Ninth Afro Kunta Kinte International Community Film Festival will take place from September 3 to September 7, 2025, in Medellín, Colombia, under the theme “Ways of Inhabiting the Territories.” Please note that each submission will be reviewed by our curation team; the submission period is open from June 10 to August 2, 2025.
We invite filmmakers to submit their films, documentaries, and short films that explore aspects of the African diaspora, such as the history of slavery, global Afro-descendant culture, the civil rights struggle, migration experiences, and the influence of African heritage on diverse cultural expressions.
