Since its first edition, the Santo Domingo Global Film Festival (FCGSD) has taken firm steps to grow both nationally and internationally while remaining true to its mission. The festival aims to offer Dominicans, as well as all visitors to the country during the event, the opportunity to access the unique perspective that cinema provides on "global issues" through "personal stories." In doing so, it seeks to foster learning and adaptation in a world driven by knowledge and globalization.
The festival’s mission remains to bring the best international narrative and documentary films to a diverse audience, advancing the understanding of the global challenges we face. Beyond this, it has contributed—whether significantly or modestly—to enhancing cinematic culture in the Dominican Republic and increasing interest in an industry that holds great potential for the country in the 21st century. The FCGSD serves as a platform that supports, among other areas, both local and international film production within the Dominican Republic.
Objectives:
Utilize cinema to strengthen the country’s economic development.
Enrich the cinematic culture of the Dominican Republic.
Screen films that entertain while deepening the understanding of global issues.

Increase the international visibility of the Dominican Republic in the global press.
Showcase a wide variety of films that are not usually accessible to the Dominican public.
Present films that resonate with youth while expanding their appreciation of cinema.
Promote the Dominican Republic as a desirable and viable option for the global film industry.
Bring a modern cinematic culture to schools in the Dominican Republic, using film as a tool to understand global issues, propose solutions, and foster individual opportunities.

WHAT YOU MUST DO:
GIVE US THE SCREENER DOWNLOAD ACCESS LINK! It is very IMPORTANT
Festivals need access to films to be able to screen films. Without films screenings at festivals cannot take place. Hence, for participation we need the screener. Due to past bad experience, the data's long travelling distance from one continent to other during playback of films "on the fly" for example European in excess of 10,000km distance away from Australia, continuous and frequent frame freezes ocured during the event, the movies keeps stopping and starting as there was no continuous connection, low bandwidth and relatively slow speed (Australia has a slower internet than many countries around the world). Its a fact.
Nobody wants to watch a film that keeps stopping and starting.
This kind of technical glitch makes some films unwatchable, if played back from Vimeo, Festhome listing platform. Hence a screener download is a MUST be provided so it an be watched flawlessly, without interruptions, and without getting skipping, lagging frames etc. Thank you for your understanding. CIFF Admin

Colortape International Film Festival is a privately owned, multicultural film festival promoting worldwide arts & culture through films, while bridging cultural differences, friendship, showcasing the creative vision of filmmakers from over the world. We are strong advocates and promoters of peace, love, friendship and mutual respect. One of very few festivals, if not the only one, to guaranteed acceptance, entry and certification for every filmmaker! Over 5324 filmmakers were rewarded in the past 8/9 years!
Dedicated mainly for international entries who would like to showcase their work to the Australian audience. Offering a transparent and culturally un-biased selection. Opening the door to those who normally get rejected or are unfairly disqualified based on difference in culture.
Local Australian filmmakers, based within our shores or outside can also participate.
We acknowledge that there are many more options available to local filmmakers, we noted in the past that many Australian films also do not get any or the right recognition and acceptance from local film festivals. They ought to be recogised. Even if there are better quality with larger budgets films entered from overseas. We would still like to reward everyone for their hard work, and creative nature.
Colortape is a film competition and film festival offering an Indoor/Outdoor screening opportunity , when possible, to showcase filmmakers work, and reward everyone towards the end of the competitive season.
Colortape festival was nominated as one of the most prestigious and recognized film festivals in the Southern hemisphere & possibly being one of Asia-Pacific's largest multicultural film competition by the number of annual admissions and FREE for the community in Australia.
In 2016, and 2017, 2018 nominated again for a 3rd year in a row for the "Access Community Services Cultural Diversity Award" by state government of Queensland, Regional Achievement and Community Awards.
Our festival endeavours to connect & bridge diverse cultural backgrounds from every corner of the world, whilst providing a sound platform for filmmakers to compete, showcase their work and be rewarded (recognition certified) at the same time, and offered an intimate festival where filmmakers and the audience can share & promote friendship and peace, to be engaged in the art of film and cinema.

Krew! Is an International Drag Film Festival with stories starring Drags artists, which brings together audiovisual material from around the world to exhibit it in movie theaters and reward the best productions with a night of awards, “The Krew Dragwards”.
The origin of the name:
“Krew!” spelled backwards "Werk!" And it is an expression used by the Drag and LGBTTTIQ+ community that would be translated as "To start, work or execute something so well and with so much sumbling, using all possible skills and tools to transmit something with such precision and confidence that no one can be able to criticize you, cast a shadow at you, decipher you or read you. Also the word Krew! It directly resembles the word Crew, translated into Spanish as Crew, to refer to the team that makes up the production of a movie or a Festidrag.

Welcome to our Summer Season that runs Monthly from July thru September 2026.
NewFilmmakers NY is New York's longest running year round Film Festival. Throughout it's twenty-eight year run NewFilmmakers has provided a platform for first time and veteran filmmakers.
We have taken an exciting new direction with NewFilmmakers called NewFilmmakersPlus which will move our festival into the digital age and allow us to reach international audiences.
While theaters have been closed, our online audiences have greatly exceeded those in theaters. With NewFilmmakers Plus we have added the missing audience participation to our online screenings.
Now filmmakers, cast, and crew as well as audience members can create interactive video screening rooms while watching a film. Just by pushing the START A GROUPVIEW button to the right of the film they can invite up to six people to talk about the film in a video conference. It’s almost like watching side-by-side in real life — without having to share your popcorn.
In addition our films will now be available for one month and screenable any time of the day instead of only one night. This allows more people to see our films and makes it easier to set up a screening event with friends and colleagues. As requested we are switching to filmmaker hosted files utilizing unlisted YouTube links which will eliminate the need to transcode and to send us large files as well as giving filmmakers control over their film.
In today’s world online screenings give filmmakers worldwide audiences instead of limited local ones. With NewFilmmakers Plus filmmakers not only reach worldwide audiences but can interact with them as they would at a traditional theater.
