Das Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival ist ein gemeinnütziges, nichtkommerzielles und Indiens einziges unabhängiges Filmfestival, das im Jahr 2011 in Delhi NCR gegründet wurde, um das Kino und die Arbeit aufstrebender, junger, unabhängiger und professioneller Filmemacher zu feiern. Das Festival ist wichtig für die indische Filmindustrie, da es jedes Jahr am 30. April anlässlich des Geburtstages von Late.Shri organisiert wird. Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, der als Vater des indischen Kinos gilt und von der Filmbruderschaft in Indien und der ganzen Welt gern als Dada Saheb Phalke in Erinnerung bleibt. Ziel ist es, das aufschlussreiche, unterhaltsame und fortschrittliche New-Age-Kino von jungen und erfahrenen Filmemachern anzuerkennen.
In den vergangenen Jahren hat das Festival an Ruf gewonnen und gilt als eines der renommiertesten Festivals in Indien. Das Festival wächst im Laufe der Jahre und zieht Filmemacher aus ganz Indien und über 110 Nationen auf der ganzen Welt an. Das Festival hat Sektionen für Spielfilme, Kurzfilme, Dokumentarfilme, Animationen, Musikvideos und Werbefilme. Das Festival zeichnet die Filmemacher in den Kategorien Produktion, Kreativität, Musik und Performance aus.
Das 16. Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival-2026 zielt darauf ab, herausragende Leistungen im Kino zu feiern. Dada Saheb Phalke hat die Bewegung des Kinos in Indien im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes begründet und er ist das Symbol für Exzellenz. Sein Beitrag zum indischen Kino ist beispiellos. Heute bewegt sich das indische Kino sowohl inhaltlich als auch technologisch in den Himmel, aber es ist erwähnenswert, dass es vom legendären Dada Saheb Phalke ins Leben gerufen wurde und wir es gerade weiterführen.
Das Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival-26 wurde von Educationexpo TV, einem führenden Forschungs- und Markenunternehmen im Bereich Unterhaltung, gegründet und von Miniboxoffice verwaltet. Es bietet Filmemachern die Möglichkeit, ihre Kreativität unter Beweis zu stellen. Wir vom Radical Frame Film Festival freuen uns, die zwölfte Ausgabe der Short Film Series ankündigen zu können.
Die Idee für das Radical Frame Film Festival entstand vor Jahren, als eine Gruppe von Aktivisten, Künstlern und Freunden aus Denver beschloss, die Botschaften des videoaktivistischen Kinos der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen.
Wir sind der Meinung, dass aufgrund des aktuellen sozialen und politischen Klimas auf lokaler und globaler Ebene unsere Mission — ein Forum für Filme und Debatten zu bieten, die zum Nachdenken anregen — wichtiger denn je ist.
Wir setzen uns dafür ein, progressive, linke, radikale, antirassistische, experimentelle und visionäre Filme zu präsentieren, die sich unter anderem mit Themen wie Umwelt, Menschenrechten, sozialer Ungerechtigkeit, Antiglobalisierung usw. befassen.

Die lange Geschichte von MECAL PRO hat es zu einem der wichtigsten Kurzfilmfestivals in Europa und der Welt gemacht und wird daher von lokalen, nationalen und internationalen Institutionen unterstützt. Voces Contra el Silencio, Video Independiente A.C., die Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, laden mit Unterstützung von TV UNAM und dem UNAM-Filmarchiv Filmemacher ein, an der vierzehnten Ausgabe der Hispano-American Independent Documentary Film and Video Encounter teilzunehmen: Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces, die vom 4. bis 12. September 2026 in Mexiko-Stadt und in verschiedenen Staaten in der gesamten mexikanischen Republik, in einem Hybridformat.
Das Hauptziel von Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces ist es, als Fenster zu dienen, das unabhängige Dokumentarfilme aus Mexiko, Lateinamerika und Spanien durch freie, zugängliche und offene Räume zusammenbringt, die eine Vielfalt von Perspektiven beinhalten, kollektives Handeln fördern und kollaborative Netzwerke fördern, um die Entwicklung des Dokumentarfilms und den Aufbau einer gerechteren, gerechteren und toleranteren Gesellschaft zu unterstützen.
Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces hat neue audiovisuelle Ausstellungsalternativen erkundet und erfolgreich ein Publikum erreicht, das es sich nie zuvor vorgestellt hatte. Die Teilnahme an dieser Ausschreibung setzt daher die Akzeptanz voraus, dass der Dokumentarfilm in der vierzehnten Ausgabe des Encuentro Hispanomaericano de Cine y Video Documental Independiente: Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces in diesen drei Formaten ausgestellt wird

KloosterKino is the place to be for animated shorts in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Three times a year we show the best animated shorts from all over the world in a friendly setting. The screenings take place in a historic cloister, which dates back to 1909, and are not subject to admission.
KloosterKino shows work by young filmmakers, but also pays attention to classic animated film. Throughout the year we also work with other festivals and cultural organizations to arrange screenings of animated shorts.
But why animated shorts? Well, first of all, because we love them! But also because too few animated shorts are shown theatrically in the Netherlands. KloosterKino wants to show animation in all its diversity: from stop-motion to CGI, from narrative to abstract, homegrown and from far away. In doing so, we hope to aid in the diffusion of the artistic animated short.
We intend to be an alternative to the larger animation festivals by offering screenings which are both accessible and challenging. We stand for high quality animated film in welcoming surroundings. Our target audience is not just the animation aficionado, but also those who normally don’t watch animation, but are open to a surprising and stimulating program of films.
