El Festival Internacional de Cine Artístico de Batumi (BIAFF) se estableció en 2006. El fundador y organizador es «Batumi Art-house ARGANI». El BIAFF es un evento anual que se celebra en la segunda quincena de septiembre en Batumi (Georgia).
El festival se centra en el cine de autor. Las principales secciones del festival BIAFF incluyen: Competencia internacional (secciones de largometraje, documental y cortometraje), Retrospectivas, Meet the Jury, Master Collection, etc. Además de las proyecciones de películas, el programa del festival incluye varios talleres, clases magistrales y eventos del sector.
El Lugar Sin Límites, está considerado entre los cuatro mejores festivales de Cine del Ecuador y es una de las actividades más importantes de la comunidad LGBTI ecuatoriana, adicionalmente es calificado como uno de los Festivales de Cine LGBTI más relevantes de la región.
Todos los trabajos deben estar doblados al español o con subtitulos en español, cuyo tema principal sea sobre LESBIANAS, GAYS, BISEXUALES, TRANS E INTERSEX.
El Festival Internacional de Cine Afro "Ananse” tiene como objetivo visibilizar los audiovisuales que aborden las manifestaciones culturales, políticas y sociales de la población afrodescendiente. Sirviendo como parte de un circuito de circulación alternativa que posibilita darse a conocer a nuevos realizadores que aborden a la población afrodescendiente de todo el mundo
“Ananse” es el primer festival que convoca a los realizadores del territorio nacional en torno a la posibilidad de generar espacios para hacer visibles las producciones que representen la visión de las comunidades negras.

After the screenings, audiences are invited to dialogue with leading urban thinkers about the issues raised during the movie and discuss current local projects.

ACME Comedy Theatre was founded in 1989 as a place for comedians to perform and be discovered. Since then, ACME has helped launch the career of hundreds of comedy writers, directors, producers, and actors.
Today, ACME continues to be a place for comedy performers and writers to be discovered. These days though, new talent is more often discovered through online videos, so ACME developed a new screening series. The screening series is dedicated to bringing the upcoming stars of comedy video to the big screen via ACME Comedy’s own film festival.

Choreoscope is the International Dance Film Festival of Barcelona. A unique event dedicated not only to those passionate about dance, but also to those who enjoy quality cinema. Born in 2013, with three full-house celebrated events, our goal is to promote the strong ties with art in general and with film and dance in particular.
Movies do not know any boundaries. Dance does not either. There is a common language joining them. The universal language of movement. Choreoscope ́s mission is to connect this fascinating language with an audience eager to experience something new, different, something special. Choreoscope Barcelona is the dance film festival of those who go one step further.
FILOSOFÍA DEL FESTIVAL

UN SIN TIEMPO
Cinemística como espacio-tiempo abierto, con características poco restrictivas de participación, dejando a los autores gran libertad en sus propuestas: Se aceptan todos los formatos, duraciones, nacionalidad, año de producción, etc.
UN REFUGIO
Un refugio a nivel internacional para las obras cinematográficas que pretendan, argumental o técnicamente, el acercamiento al gran misterio de la representación del mundo, en el arte y en el hombre. Sin dogmas, bajo cualquier perspectiva individual o colectiva, desde la fe pero también desde el agnosticismo, la espiritualidad atea y el cientificismo.
UNA POÉTICA DE LO CONTEMPLATIVO
Las miradas de los cineastas, en toda su diversidad socio-cultural, acogiéndose con interés cualquier film fruto del descubrimiento personal, de la investigación o experimentación, de la inspiración y del trabajo, de la revelación e introspección de sus autores. La cotidianeidad, la estasis y la disparidad como estructuras para crear profundidad en el tratamiento fílmico.
EL ASCETISMO
La mística y el ascetismo en la producción cinematográfica representan posiblemente un estado más absoluto que otros, pues siempre se podrá hacer un cine con mayor presupuesto y con creciente complejidad técnica, pero a veces no se puede hacer un film más pobre ni humilde en lo material, y sin embargo, esa es la cuestión, sencillo y universal a la vez.
EL TODAVÍA
Cinematografías de la impermanencia, del todavía, del cine "amateur" (del verbo amar), directores caracterizados no sólo por lo que muestran y por cómo lo muestran en la pantalla, sino por lo deciden no mostrar, evitar (técnica y argumentalmente), atendiendo a la inacción, a lo inenarrable, en experiencias artísticas tan milagrosas como cercanas.
LA FENOMENOLOGÍA
Lo que aparece y desaparece, la emergencia de topologías, materiales o conscientes, y su invisibilidad o extinción ulterior. Los alrededores secuenciales del vacío, de la materia y del tiempo. Los huecos del discurso, tan elocuentes, cada uno los entiende a su manera. Ausencia y milagro: La Mística como un posible habitar en común.

Antes de enviar sus propuestas, tenga en cuenta que sus películas se proyectarán en varios colegios, escuelas y universidades de Rajastán de forma gratuita. El público verá y valorará tu película en el acto. En función de sus calificaciones, se preseleccionarán las mejores películas. Luego, estas películas serán juzgadas por nuestro jurado.
No se admitirá ninguna compensación por la proyección de su (s) película (s). Sus películas también se pueden proyectar en canales de televisión locales o nacionales. No se pagarán regalías por dicha proyección.
Se ruega a las personas que esperen recibir algún pago por la proyección de sus películas que no envíen ninguna entrada al PCISFF.
El Festival Internacional de Cine FENAVID se realiza anualmente en la ciudad de Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Organizado por la Fundación Audiovisual (FUNDAV), el Festival se ha convertido en la cita cinematográfica más importante de Bolivia y una de las más relevantes de América Latina.
Desde su primera versión, realizada en 2001, más de 10.000 trabajos audiovisuales de 30 países se han presentando a este encuentro, el cual ha trascendido las fronteras de Bolivia y América.
En cada versión, el FENAVID ofrece al público más de 150 proyecciones de largometrajes, cortometrajes, videos musicales y una serie de trabajos audiovisuales que se exhiben de forma gratuita para el público.
El FENAVID siempre cuenta con invitados de primer nivel. A la cita han asistido personajes de renombre internacional, como, Celso Franco protagonista de "7 cajas", Marisol Correa actriz colombiana, Alexandre Rodrigues y Leandro Firmino de Hora (protagonistas del aclamado filme brasileño “Ciudad de Dios”), la productora argentina Vanessa Ragone (ganadora del Óscar a Mejor Película Extranjera en 2010), los directores bolivianos Marcos Loayza y Rodrigo Bellot y la actriz argentina Aymará Rovera, por citar algunos.
Más allá del glamour y de las proyecciones de filmes, el FENAVID es un macro encuentro en el que convergen productores, directores, actores, especialistas y toda una multitud de gente apasionada por el cine.
Durante los días de su realización, el Festival cuenta con una serie de actividades paralelas, como ser muestras de cine infantil, concurso de videoclips, talleres, charlas, coloquios y debates.
Uno de los eventos más esperados del FENAVID es el Encuentro de Producción Cinematográfica Santa Cruz 100X100. El mismo consiste en reunir a 25 talentos emergentes del cine en América Latina. Los elegidos viajan a Santa Cruz de la Sierra y, durante el desarrollo del festival, tienen la misión de producir un cortometraje en 100 horas.
