The Festival of Cinema made in the Canary Islands (#MadeInSecuencia27) is a festival that was born with the aim of promoting and disseminating audiovisual creation through sportsmanship and teamwork, both among fans and professionals, throughout the Canarian archipelago and arises as an initiative of the Cultural Association La Farola Films and its youth section known as the Infant and Youth School of Cinema "Sequence 27".
FECICA is celebrated between the municipalities of Puntallana, Barlovento and San Andrés y Sauces under a written and visual motto that changes in each edition.
with the image of the Punta Cumplida de Barlovento Lighthouse next to the Los Tilos Bridge of San Andrés y Sauces and the Monument to Salto del Enamorado de Puntallana.
The Festival has two competitive sections of the event: the 'General Section', which has short films shot throughout the Canary Islands and the 'Section 32 hours', in which filming takes place on site (between Puntallana, Windward and San Andrés and Sauces ), within the duration of the show itself, in just one and a half days, making this section the hardest cinematographic creation challenge in the Canary Islands. We also have the 'Media and Feature Films Section', a non-competitive section to promote the latest feature films and medium films made in the Canary Islands.
Thanks to this festival, which pursues the coexistence between participants, audience and young people of the Film School, more than the competition between them, the island of La Palma is already a "movie island", which has five festivals more audiovisuals (Festivalito, Tiempo Sur, TazaCortos and La Palma Anime Film Festival). All of them collaborate with this Film Show and are completed with other audiovisual contests throughout the island territory.

The self-portrait has been a constant practice in art-and a imperative practice since it is called selfie-but not in audiovisual products. And now we are mired in the mode of the Videosphere.
At ESAT (Higher School of Art and Technology) we believe that the configuration of a stable and sustainable future depends, more than ever, on creativity. The future will be in the hands of those who know how to convert a creative act into a creator. So, in ESAT we bet on talent.
That's why ESAT has thought that a good way to start an audiovisual contest is to dedicate a first edition to meet those people who possess that potential that is so necessary to improve an immediate future.
Therefore, the theme of this first event will consist of a kind of "personal presentation", a self-portrait made in audiovisual format, an audiovisual selfie. The audiovisual must contain what the author feels identified, a "short film", ultimately where he himself is in some way the protagonist. A coincidence that can be narrated in multiple ways and through the genre and format that each one considers more opportune.

We continue to accept submissions but please not your film will be submitted to the 2020 edition NOT 2019. This is due to Government elections on Madeira.

The entry fee is 30 / 40 / 50 Euros depending upon submissions date and irrespective of genre and running time. Exhibiting filmmakers will be offered 3 nights accommodation including breakfast on Madeira during the festival.

The Madeira Film Festival is non – competitive. Rather than present awards MFF offers delegates the status of ‘AMBASSADOR OF THE LAURISSILVA’ thus helping to preserve and create awareness of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva forest.
The Madeira Film Festival organisation fervently believes there is no better place in the world to stage a film festival than on the piquant Island of Madeira and there is no better place on Madeira to stage a film festival than in glorious Reid’s Palace Hotel and the Municipal Theatre in Funchal.
The crux of the Madeira Film Festival is to pay homage to the resilience of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva Forest by screening a slate of films which are expansive, unsettling and profound,films which will hopefully impinge upon the viewers imagination.
One of the most effective measures that can be implemented in order to raise awareness of the Laurissilva forest and subsequently it’s preservation is through the undisputed persuasive strength of audio- visual communication. The aspiration of the Madeira Film Festival is to become one of Europe’s foremost film festivals, by sheer virtue of location there exists an inherent capacity to attain this.
This Festival is born, as a stream of Aguaespejo Granada, following the teachings on poetic mechanisms of participatory experience and expanded cinema of the filmmaker and Granada-born inventor Val del Omar.
The idea is to promote poetic and experimental cinema and extend its presence to the geography of our city.
Cinespejo Festival, to be held in Las Gabias in 2019, aims to be a benchmark for the public who loves cinema and poetry.

Das Street Art Movie Fest wurde im Rahmen des Grenoble Street Art Fest ins Leben gerufen, einem der größten Festivals für Street Art seit 2015. Das Street Art Movie Fest richtet sich an alle Produzenten, die sich mit Street Art in allen Formaten beschäftigen, von Spielfilmen bis hin zu Webformaten wie animierten GIF. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Cinematheque of Grenoble (CNC-Label) konnten wir eine archivierte Sammlung der besten audiovisuellen Dokumente aufbauen, die jedes Mal übersetzt und für Werke in einer Fremdsprache untertitelt wurden. Die sechs Kategorien von Formaten sind: Spielfilme, Kurzfilme, Dokumentationen, Animationsfilme, Zeitraffer und animierte GIF.
Die Offenbarung begann 1997 als „Underground“ -Event im Hinterzimmeruntergeschoss des Greenwich Clubs, zu der Zeit Perths glatteste Jazz- und Musik-Veranstaltungsort. Alle Werke wurden ausschließlich auf 16mm Film gezeigt und das Festival zeigte auch Live-Musik, Poesie und Gastvorträge. Revelation wurde entwickelt, um eine Reihe von einzigartigen und progressiven Kurz-, Spiel-, Dokumentar-, Archiv- und Animationswerken zu präsentieren, die an der Spitze des zeitgenössischen Underground-Filmemachens standen und diese Arbeiten gleichzeitig durch eine Vielzahl von kuratierten Archivprogrammen kontextualisiert, die zentrale Punkte hervorheben in der unabhängigen Filmemachung. Die Revelation wächst
schnell hinter der intimen Umgebung des Greenwich Clubs und erstreckt sich jetzt über Veranstaltungsorte in Perth und Fremantle und bietet einige der bekanntesten Filme aus der internationalen Filmfestival-Szene und umfasst Galerie- und Installationsarbeiten, Live-Performances, eine akademische Konferenz und eine einzigartige Seminar- und Masterclass Serie. Die Marktdurchdringung von Offenbarung ist heute die umfassendste aller Zeiten und bietet neue lokale, nationale und internationale Zielgruppen. Jedes Jahr werden
mehr als 500 Filme für die Auswahl von lokalen und internationalen Filmemachern eingereicht, und die Bildschirmkonferenzkomponente der Veranstaltung wird schnell zu einer großen Auslosung für die Filmemachergemeinschaft der Welt.
Revelation wurde eingeladen, die Public Screening Komponente der Australian International Documentary Conference im Rahmen des Perth International Arts Festival in den Jahren 2000 und 2001 zu präsentieren und hat sich seitdem als eigenständige Veranstaltung angesehen.
Die Screenkonferenz des Festivals soll eine noch größere Auslosung für australische und internationale Filmemacher werden.

Das Internationale Filmfestival in Gornji Milanovac (im Folgenden: das Festival) findet vom 26. September bis 10. Oktober 2023 in Gornji Milanovac, Republik Serbien, statt. Das Festival ist eine Veranstaltung, die in ihrem Programm die künstlerischen Werte des zeitgenössischen Filmemachens schätzt und fördert.
Das Festival ist bestrebt, die wichtigsten Richtungen und Genres des Filmschaffens vorzustellen, Kontakte zwischen Filmemachern, Autoren, Publikum... zu knüpfen und die neuesten Erkenntnisse der Filmproduktion zu präsentieren. Das Festival richtet sich an alle Filmliebhaber.
Das Hauptziel des Festivals ist die Förderung des Films sowie der Bildung in audiovisueller Kultur.
Das Bašta Fest ist ein internationales Kurzspielfilmfestival, das in Bajina Bašta, Westserbien, stattfindet. Es ist eine jährliche Veranstaltung, die am ersten Juliwochenende stattfindet und vier Tage dauert. Aufgrund des Berufs der Gründer (Schauspieler Jovan Jelisavčić und Maja Šuša) ist der Hauptinteresse des Festivals eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen Regisseuren und Schauspielern. Wir glauben, dass die Fokussierung auf die Qualität dieser gemeinsamen künstlerischen Anstrengungen einen positiven Einfluss auf die Positionierung des Bašta Fest unter den Kurzfilmfestivals haben wird. Das Bašta Fest ist von großer Bedeutung für die Dezentralisierung der Kultur, da es vielfältige Film-, Musik- und Off-Programme in diese wunderschöne Region gebracht hat. Die Hauptauswahl ist ein Kurzfilmprogramm des Wettbewerbs, während zwei Filme als Teil eines Nicht-Wettbewerbs, eines Sonderprogramms jedes Jahr gezeigt werden - einer während der Eröffnung und einer während der Abschlussfeier. Der letzte, der gezeigt wird, ist ein serbischer Debüt-Spielfilm, der vom Bašta-Festteam als erfolgreichster im Vorjahr gewählt wurde. Der Eintritt zu allen Vorführungen in Bašta ist kostenlos, während sie immer unter offenem Nachthimmel stattfinden. Derzeit gibt es zwei offizielle Festivalplätze: den Borići-Park und den Perućac-See.
Das 2011 gegründete Prokuplje Short Film Festival ist das jüngste Filmfestival in Serbien. In Prokplje findet eine Veranstaltung statt, bei der das Publikum das Beste aus den Bereichen Dokumentarfilm, Experiment, Animation und Fiktion aus der ganzen Welt sehen kann. Tausende von Filmen aus der ganzen Welt kommen an der Adresse des Festivals an, und das spiegelt sich auch in den zahlreichen Zuschauern in Prokuplje, aber auch in anderen Städten Serbiens und der Region wider, da das Team eine Tour organisiert, bei der die besten Filme in über 30 Städten präsentiert werden. Das Fehlen des Kinos sowie das Fehlen eines Films als Unterrichtsfach in der Schule hindern junge Menschen daran, etwas über diese Kunst zu lernen.
Um etwas von diesem Inhalt zu sehen, müssen die jungen Leute nach Nis oder sogar nach Belgrad gehen. Dies ist eine Gelegenheit, die neuesten Kurzfilmerfolge aus der ganzen Welt in Prokuplje zu sehen. In den letzten Jahren ist laut Untersuchungen die Besucherzahlen bei Festivals auf der ganzen Welt zurückgegangen. Aus diesem Grund und aufgrund der Einführung des Films bei jungen Menschen haben wir die Arbeit an alle Grund- und weiterführenden Schulen mitgebracht, die potenzielle Zuschauer sind und durch die Präsentation von Festivalfilmen und die Diskussion über die Bedeutung des Festivals belebt werden. Neben der Arbeit mit jungen Menschen in Prokuplje ist der Film Club Prokuplje der erste, der damit beginnt, das Publikum aus den ländlichen Gebieten zu animieren, die von allen Veranstaltungen, insbesondere kulturellen Veranstaltungen, völlig ausgeschlossen sind.
EVENT DATES. The XXII edition of the Guanajuato International Film Festival will be celebrated from July 19-28, 2019, in the cities of San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato, Mexico.
BuSho (Budapest Short) was established in the autumn of 2004 by a group of young Hungarian filmmakers and the first event successfully ran its course the following year. The festival became an international breakthrough in an exceptionally short period of time. We had plenty of festival screenings, selections of film academies, conferences, exhibitions, film-, and all-art workshops in the program. Our main target group is the generation of developing young filmmakers but we are very delighted at every entry. This film celebration takes place in Budapest in the late summer of 2019.

2020 wird unser 14. Jahr in Großbritannien sein, in dem preisgekrönte Filme aus über 40 Ländern verschiedener Genres präsentiert werden, von Mikroanimationen bis hin zu epischen Dramen, gefolgt von nachdenklich anregenden und inspirierenden Post-Screening-Diskussionen, und wir stehen gerade am Anfang unserer US-Reise.
Der Name des Festivals wurde von einem jungen Mädchen namens Anel aus einem verarmten Gebiet in Mosambik inspiriert, das die Welt ihre Geschichte und die Geschichte von so vielen anderen auf der ganzen Welt kennenlernen wollte.
Wir lieben Geschichten, die herausfordern, uns bestaunt, uns in den Kern unseres Wesens schütteln und unseren Geist für andere Möglichkeiten öffnen. Wir lieben Geschichten, die uns ermutigen, befähigen, ausstatten und Liebe, Barmherzigkeit und Großzügigkeit inspirieren. Und wir lieben Geschichten, die uns daran erinnern, wer wir wirklich sind.
Das britische Festival wird in Zusammenarbeit mit Vue Cinemas in London gezeigt. Das US-Festival wird in Verbindung mit Cinepolis Cinemas in Süd-Florida gezeigt.

The Grecanica International Film Festival aims to host Documentaries, Animations, Music films produced anywhere in the world aimed at enhancing and promoting human rights, dignity, equality, lands, peoples, cultures, linguistic or historical minorities, popular and ethnic music from international productions.
The videos admitted to the competition must be in Italian or, if in other languages, they must have italian subtitles.
Subscriptions will only be made online through the site that will be advertised on newspapers and on the web.
The festival will include a series of excursions to promote the Calabrian Greek territory and enhance the language, minority culture, musical and gastronomic traditions of the entire Graekanic Area.
Stage and thematic meetings with language, culture, traditions and local gastronomy will be provided.
