The third edition of the AFTER program, organized by ECAM Industria in Spain, is aimed at short film projects in development, providing support for emerging creators in their creative and production processes. Applications are open from December 12, 2025, to January 12, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

The program will take place over approximately one week in the first quarter of 2026, likely between late January and March. It is aimed at ECAM alumni and residents of the Madrid region, so international submissions outside this scope are not accepted.

AFTER accepts projects of any genre, including fiction, documentary, or animation, and focuses on script development, production, legal and financial guidance, as well as personalized mentorship. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their projects at film forums and markets to enhance visibility and funding opportunities.

The required project format is exclusively short film, and selected participants will receive professional support to strengthen their projects comprehensively.

CineMart, the 43rd edition of IFFR Pro’s co-production market, will take place during the 55th International Film Festival Rotterdam from January 29 to February 8, 2026. For the first time, it introduces CineMart x HBF, highlighting projects supported by the Hubert Bals Fund. The call is open for feature-length and immersive projects in development seeking co-production and financing partners. There is a tiered fee structure: early (€25 excl. VAT) until July 7, 2025; standard (€35) until August 21; late (€55) until the final deadline on August 27, 2025. Projects must be debuting at Rotterdam, viable, and led by a director-producer team. Feature films need a minimum 60‑minute runtime, full script available during CineMart, at least secured national or third‑party funding, budgets under €6M, and international coproduction potential. Immersive works (VR/AR/MR/360°) should be in development, with ≥25 % of the budget secured, created by experienced immersive artists, new to the market, with full documentation in English. Deadline: August 27, 2025.

The 4th edition of the Film Financing Market (FFM) will take place in October 2025 during the Sitges Festival. The call is open from May 15 to June 30 and accepts fiction feature film projects in development or production stages. National projects must have a budget over 1 million euros and at least 60% guaranteed funding; Ibero-American projects require a minimum budget of 500,000 euros and 50% guaranteed funding. Applicants must submit a synopsis, script, detailed budget, financing plan, and marketing strategy. Selected projects gain free festival access and opportunities to meet investors and co-producers. Participants must commit to attend activities and include the Film Financing Market logo in credits. Registration costs range from €100 to €150 plus VAT, depending on submission date.

The FILMS TO COME call of ECAM Forum 2026 targets feature-length projects in development, accepting fiction, documentary, and animation works. It is open to international submissions, allowing creators from any country to participate. This forum section serves as a market and pitch platform where projects can seek funding, co-producers, sales agents, and international partners.

Submissions are open until January 27, 2026, and the event will take place from June 9 to 12, 2026 in Madrid, Spain. Projects must have an expected runtime of over 60 minutes and be in the development stage, whether it is a first, second, or third feature. There are no restrictions on cinematic genre, enabling creators to explore diverse narrative styles and hybrid formats.

FILMS TO COME provides filmmakers with the opportunity to present their projects to industry professionals, establishing key connections for international co-production and distribution of their feature films.
