The International School of Film and Television (EICTV) offers a Master’s in Fiction Film for the 2025–2028 period, aimed at filmmakers interested in developing feature film projects in a creative and professional environment. The program combines technical and artistic training, including a creative lab called FICCLAB, where students develop their films with guidance from specialized filmmakers, creating scripts, production design, and exploring cinematic language.

Six students will be selected for the program, which includes in-person training in Cuba and online components. The program runs from February 2 to September 25, 2026, with a fee of 9,000 euros and a diploma issued by EICTV, recognized by the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Applicants must submit a motivation letter of up to three pages explaining their project and motivations, along with a portfolio of previous work. The application deadline is October 20, 2025, and the program seeks candidates aged 22 to 30 who wish to advance in feature film development in an international and creative setting.

The American Film Market (AFM) 2025 will take place from November 11 to 16 in Los Angeles, California. It is one of the most important independent film markets globally, where distribution, financing, and promotion deals worth billions of dollars are made.

The event gathers producers, distributors, buyers, and industry professionals to present projects, network, and participate in specialized conferences and panels. Key activities include the Pitch Conference, where filmmakers can present projects through a two-minute video, and support programs for film sales companies.

The call is open to film professionals interested in showcasing, financing, or selling cinematic projects. It provides an opportunity to expand networks, gain international visibility, and understand trends in the independent film market. Participation enables strategic connections with key global industry players and access to practical insights on film production, distribution, and marketing.
