Founded in 2018, the Almagro International Film Festival (AIFF) was created as a platform to support and promote the audiovisual industry. The Festival provides a space for the exhibition and promotion of audiovisual works while turning the historic city of Almagro into a meeting point for filmmakers, industry professionals and audiences, encouraging the exchange of ideas, new collaborations and the development of future projects.

AIFF showcases some of the most outstanding recent short films, with a strong commitment to quality, emerging talent and contemporary audiovisual culture. 1. OBJECTIVES

The objectives of Festival de Malaga are to disseminate and promote Spanish films and their general cultural sphere. In this sense, the Festival is also a platform for Latin American film productions. Its functions include hosting an event for the different professional sectors of films in Spanish (construed as films produced in Spain and all of Latin America, including Brazil) to boost their development and promote international sales.

Festival de Málaga is recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers' Associations (FIAPF) (www.fiapf.org).

In compliance with these objectives, the 29th Edition of Festival de Málaga will be held from 6th to 15 th March 2026.

FeCHA is Festival de Cine Hispanófono de Atenas and was first organized in 2016 with great success.

The festival focuses on screening current Spanish- speaking films from Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Chile, Colombia, etc. showcasing the rich cinematic wealth of these countries.

The festival, since June 2016, has attracted more than 20.000 audience members. Multi-awarded films from Spain and Latin America premiere at the festival. With its sold- out screenings and a diverse programme Athens has shown its love for Spanish speaking culture and cinema.

The Palencia International Films Festival is organised by the Association Friends of the film and the Popular University of Palencia.

This edition is number 36, and during all these years, our philosphy has been considering cinema a tool of development and social cohesion.

Our festival colaborates with the Spanish Cinema Academy, and its a qualifyer festival for the GOYA shortfilm Awards.

In addition, the short film awarded the first prize by the jury at the MCIP (the Milagros Alcalde Award) will go directly to the Short List finalist of the FUGAZ Awards, making up the short list of films that will then be evaluated for nomination by the commission that awards these prizes each year.
