The TERRAMIA Film Festival is organized by the TERRAMIA Social Promotion Association, in partnership with the CENTRO STUDI CINEMATOGRAFICI.

It is an international short film festival dedicated to the theme of the environment and disability.

The objective of the Festival is to create strong awareness on environmental and disability issues, thus becoming a tool for information, denunciation and community involvement on the topics indicated above, but also to promote the territory in which the festival will take place.

In fact, it will take place in Valle Caudina, the central area of the Campania Region, which includes three provinces, Avellino, Benevento and Caserta at the center of two Regional Parks such as Partenio and Taburno.

1. ORGANIZERS AND PROMOTERS
The TERRAMIA Film Festival is organized by the TERRAMIA Social Promotion Association, in partnership with the CENTRO STUDI CINEMATOGRAFICI.

2. OBJECTIVES
Raising awareness on environmental and disability issues.

3. PLACE - DATE
The Festival will take place on SATURDAY 29th and SUNDAY 30th June 2024 in Valle Caudina.

4. REGISTRATION
Registration for the Festival is free.

The competition is dedicated to the short film genre.

The Festival is open to everyone, professionals and non-professionals (authors), who are at least 18 years old.
Only short films whose theme focuses on the Environment and Disability can participate.
The Festival provides for admission to the selection of national and international works produced after 1 January 2022, lasting no more than 20 minutes.

The files must be in high definition in .mp4 or .mov h264 format (max 20000kb per sec).

The directors of the short films will be able to submit only one work for selection.

Films in foreign languages must be subtitled in Italian.

Registrations are open from 01 February 2024 until 31 March 2024, notification of admission by 15 May 2024.

5. The sending of the works implies the non-exclusive authorization to the organizers of the Festival to disseminate and make available to the public - through their website and by any other means or other known form, the sequences of the works presented, without demanding any compensation for their authors.

By sending the short film, the sender declares that he is the owner of all rights to use it, that the content of the work does not violate current laws and that the work does not contain any defamatory content. In any case, the author releases the organization from all losses, damages, liabilities, costs and charges of any kind that may arise from the content of his work and its public screening. The author is responsible for any SIAE protection of the work and the payment of the related performance rights in case of use of musical repertoire created by third parties.

6. The works presented for selection will not be returned and will be part of the Terramia Film Festival archive.

7. The Festival management will coordinate the selection of the works, definitively establishing the films and videos admitted to the final phase.

8. The finalist works will be judged both by the expert jury and by a youth jury, which will include children aged 14 to 18. The prizes will be awarded only in the presence of the winning authors or their delegates.

9. The authors authorize the screening of their films registered for the Festival in primary and secondary education institutions for educational use, as well as for cultural initiatives and for the purposes of promoting the Festival itself. Other different uses will take place in compliance with current legislation on copyright, subject to authorization.

10. SELECTED FILMS
NOMINATION:
The directors of the shorts who will be selected for the final phase will be contacted by the organization and will have to send online;

- n.3 images taken from the film (in jpeg format – 300dpi)
- director's photograph (in jpeg format – 300dpi)

FINALISTS:
The organizers of the Festival will guarantee the authors of the short films that reach the final an overnight stay and will be invited to participate in the event. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the participants.

11. The Festival management can take any useful decision in relation to anything not provided for in this regulation.

12. Participants in the competition, by registering, authorize the Terramia Aps Association, for the purposes of Law 675/1996, to process personal data and use their name and address for uses connected to the event. The owner of the personal data sent will be the association. Pursuant to art. 13 L. 675/96 the data will be available for any correction or modification relating to their use.

13. The request for admission to the Festival implies unconditional acceptance of these Regulations. For any dispute arising from the use of film works, the court of Avellino (AV) will be competent. In the event of a dispute over the meaning of the articles of the regulation, the one written in Italian will prevail.
