Strangelove festival is looking for queer artists who provoke and highlight non-binary perspectives! We welcome filmmakers, visual artists, musicians, writers and performers exploring gender, sexuality, counterculture, alternative formats and queer identities.

For the 2018 edition we plan to dig into dirty/punky/trashy intersections which take shape as queer art forms. Let’s show some trash awareness together! We hope you will feel inspired to collaborate with us—get down and dirty…

Our call is open between 15-31 January 2018. We look forward to discovering your work!

1. Entries open Monday 15 January and end Wednesday 31 January 2018.
2. If your work is accepted, you will be notified by the end of March 2018.
3. By sending the artworks to the open call, entrants agree that they are the originator of the artwork.
4. Artworks can be submitted via the entry form.
5. The personal information requested on the entry form is being collected by Strangelove A Queer Festival for the purpose of announcing and contacting the artists. The personal information will be used solely by Strangelove A Queer Festival for the above primary purpose or directly related purposes.
6. Artists may submit in any language. We ask that non-English language materials please be subtitled in English.
7. The Festival holds discretion over the materials published in the catalogue.
8. No entries will be accepted after the closing dates.
9. Artworks may not be withdrawn from the festival once they have been accepted.
10. By submitting your entry to this open call, you certify that you;
• agree with the terms and conditions
• are the original and sole holder of the copyright to the artwork that you submit
• have the authority to license the usage of the artwork to Strangelove A Queer Festival
