Pimp My Movie is a festival aimed at young filmmakers (under 30) who want to improve their short films. The Cinémergence association supports the filmmakers by giving them access to more technical, logistical and financial resources. The aim is to help them improve their films through post-production aid.

The shortlisted films will be presented to a jury of industry professionals at our festival in spring 2024. The winners will receive one of our 4 prizes to support them in post-production and pimp their films!

Jury prize: The short film awarded this prize will enable its director to obtain audiovisual training of his choice. This award rewards the unique vision of the director and encourages his career as an author

Creative Prize: The winner of this prize will obtain post-production assistance targeted at VFX and color grading. It rewards the originality and creative ambition of the project

Lab Prize: The short film awarded this prize will benefit from post-production assistance (editing, mixing and calibration). It rewards the quality and technical potential of the project.


Public Prize: Since the public's opinion is essential, we are organizing an online vote to award this fourth and final prize.

The short films will be selected according to the following criteria:

● The relevance of the application to the objective of the call for projects;

● The seriousness of the application (attachments, dates, editorial quality, etc.);

● Length of the short film: 15 min maximum (credits not included);

● The short film must have been produced after 2021;

● The short film can be fiction, a documentary or even an animated film;

● The short film must be in the majority French language (any other language must be subtitled in French);

● The age limit for participation is set between 18 and 30 years at the time of project submission;

● The short film must be finished, the aim of the call being to pimp (rework) projects already completed.
