Realizado em parceria entre A Gota Preta Filmes e o Centro Cultural Phábrika a partir de experiências realizadas com as Escolas Municipais Escultor Leão Velloso (06.25.019), Jornalista e Escritor Daniel Piza (06.25.41), Érico Veríssimo (06.25.06) e Charles Anderson Weaver (06.25.05), o Festival Internacional de Curtas-Metragens Infanto-Juvenil tem a missão de contribuir para a Educação ao proporcionar um ambiente lúdico propício ao aprendizado através da exibição de filmes educativos de todo o mundo, apostando na estética do cinema para desenvolver o senso crítico, aguçar a curiosidade e estimular o interesse pelo saber em uma área de frágil desempenho escolar!

Nosso objetivo é investir nesse intercambio levando os filmes selecionados à 22 unidades da rede municipal, impactando a vida de milhares de alunos ao ampliar a oferta de Capital Cultural à população atendida pelas escolas concentradas nas micro-áreas 6.5 e 6.7 da 6ª Coordenadoria Regional de Educação do Rio de Janeiro, carentes de equipamentos que proporcionem este acesso.

Created in partnership between A Gota Preta Filmes and the Centro Cultural Phábrika from experiences with the Municipal Schools Sculptor Leão Velloso (06.25.019), Journalist and Writer Daniel Piza (06.25.41), Érico Veríssimo (06.25.06) and Charles Anderson Weaver (06.25.05), the International Short Film Festival for Children and Youth has the mission to contribute to Education by providing a playful environment conducive to learning through the exhibition of educational films from around the world, betting on the aesthetics of cinema to develop critical sense, sharpen curiosity and stimulate interest in learning in an area with fragile school performance!

Our goal is to invest in this exchange by screening the selected films for 22 municipal units, impacting the lives of thousands of students by expanding the offer of Cultural Capital to the population served by the schools concentrated in micro-areas 6.5 and 6.7 of the 6th Regional Education Coordination of Rio de Janeiro, lacking equipments that provides this access.
