Patrofest: Festival de Curtmetratges de Joves Cineastes (1)

Patrofest is a small film festival where you can participate to see your work on the big screen and spend a relaxing time talking about cinema. We want to give a push to young authors who are taking their first steps in this world.

The festival will be held in the emblematic modernist theater "El Patronat", located in the old town of Premià de Mar.

- "Veritat i Moviment" Award for Best Female Interpretation

- The author of the film must have been under 30 years of age during the filming. If the authorship of the work belongs to a minor, an image rights authorization must be submitted for media coverage of the festival.

- The theme of the works is free.

- Short films can be presented in any language but must be subtitled either Catalan or Spanish.

- The duration of the works must be a maximum of 10 minutes (credits included).

- Only works produced after January 1, 2023 may be submitted.

- Registration can be done through the FESTHOME platform.

- The registration must be accompanied by 3 or more frames of the film.

- Registrations open on April 1, 2024 until September 1, both included.

- All material included in the short film must be original or copyright-free.

- The organization reserves the right to choose the works that will participate in this festival.

- The opening event will be Saturday 28 September 2024, entry will be free and short films out of competition will be screened. The other screenings, selected by competition, will be shown on Sunday 29 September throughout the day. Each screening will be accompanied by a subsequent discussion with the members of the team present. From 18:00h, the award ceremony will take place.

- In order to be eligible for prizes, the attendance of a member of the team will be essential.

- The members of the jury will be announced prior to the festival.
