2º International Social Film Festival.

The selected films will compete for the following prizes:

Official Jury Prize for Best Short: 600 euros and Trophy.

Jury Prize for Best Inclusive Short: 500 euros and Trophy.

Audience Award: 400 euros and Trophy.

All prizes are subject to withholdings determined by current law in Spain.

1. Participation in this Contest is open to short films of national and international production, whether they are fiction, animation or documentary, as long as they have a social and inclusive theme.

2. Films shot in any format, silent or with incorporated sound, produced after January 1, 2023, may be submitted to the Contest.

3. The maximum duration of the films in the competition will not exceed 20 minutes including the credit titles.

4. The films must be presented in Spanish or Valencian. If the language of the work is different, it must be presented with subtitles in Spanish. All works that do not comply with this point will be disqualified.

5. Each author may submit up to a maximum of 3 papers.

6. The selection committee will choose, among all the short films received, those that will be part of the competition within the Official Section.

7. The selected films will appear in the Festival Catalog and will be screened in PUBLIC AND FREE sessions within the dates of the Festival, specifically between November 15 and 18, 2023.

8. The decisions of the Selection Committee and the Jury are final. SELECTED FILMS

1. The works selected for the contest will be announced as of October 15, 2023 on social networks and in the media. Confirmation will be sent by email to each selected and to the works not selected as well. The Festival will promote all the selected works on social networks and in the press in a timely manner.

2. The selected films must be sent in an HD file with the h264 codec and a minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 -1080p- in .mp4) before November 1, 2023.
The winners will be invited to the awards ceremony that will take place on Saturday, November 18 in the afternoon/evening. The organization will be responsible for the accommodation and subsistence expenses for two people on the day/night of the Gala. The displacement will be borne by the award-winning directors, it being understood that these expenses can be met with the economic endowment of the award.

VERY IMPORTANT !!! All prizes must be collected in person by the director or, failing that, someone from the duly accredited team. In the event that no one comes to collect the prize, the economic amount of the prize will not be paid.

GENERAL RULES
The authors of the works selected for the competition will be able to present their film personally if they so wish, before the screening.
The producers of the selected short films authorize the use of a fragment of the works up to a maximum of 30 seconds, for possible dissemination in any media.

The Organization may exhibit the selected short films in the places and times it deems appropriate, always within the dates of the festival and duly announced on our social networks and previously communicated to the directors / producers. All screenings will be free.
