International Short Film Festival with the aim of establishing a useful platform for the promotion of the audiovisual industry: a space and time for the dissemination and promotion of audiovisual content, transforming it into a meeting point for filmmakers, favoring the exchange of initiatives and promoting a open market for the development of new projects.

All selected films will be screened at our public event. Show of shorts is a competition within many festivals of the Podcultura production company. With an annual festival dedicated to awards of Brazilian actors for TV and Cinema.
We do not require release status and will consider short films that are available for viewing online.

Each film submitted will be viewed in its entirety by members of our selection team.
The Festival is open to the public, as well as to professional sales and distribution assistants. By submitting your film, you agree that the Actor Mund Festival will screen your film during the Festival and use your film for promotional purposes, as well as all regulations above.

At our awards ceremony, the winners in each of our categories took home a prestigious trophy to highlight their talents as artists.

Rules

GENERAL RULES

1. The present 01 edition of the Free Short Film show is open to filmmakers from all over the world.

2. Any filming system as well as genre is allowed.

3. The execution time will not exceed 30 minutes.

4. Short film production must have ended after January 1, 2018.

5. It is essential that short films that are not in English in their original version are subtitled in that language.

6. The selected shorts may be screened in any of the sections in the competition at the discretion of Actor Mund.

7. For the promotion of Short Films and Festival, the Organizing Committee will use clips from selected Short Films for no more than 1 minute.

8. Accepted formats for projection purposes are, in the same order: MOV ProRes422HQ (preferred) or H.264; HD (1920x1080) or 2K (1998x1080 / 2048x858).

9. Short films admitted to the competition will be eligible for the Prize within their category. In addition, all competing categories will be eligible for the audience award and the special jury award. The Festival may also award an exclusive Prize if necessary.

The awards will be announced at the awards ceremony.

10. The authorization of the authors or holders of these rights for the screening by the festival of the works selected during the festival is implicit, without there being any contractual obligations on the part of the Actor Mund organization with the author, material or intellectual of the work, nor of any other representative society of any kind.

11. Participation in the Festival implies full acceptance of these rules.

12. All of you registered are obliged to register at or least one event or event (This category is free). Curtas that nao inscrever um ator is automatically deleted.

13.Accepts projects from any country, but it is mandatory, subtitles in English.
