The Community of Bardenas Reales de Navarra announces the 1st Edition of the Bardenas Reales de Navarra Short Film Competition "MEMORIAL JULIÁN ISLA", with the aim of publicizing and highlighting the uniqueness of its landscapes and natural, social and cultural resources of the Natural Park and the Biosphere Reserve of Bardenas Reales de Navarra, as well as the Methodology of the Custody of the Territory for its conservation.

"MEMORIAL JULIAN ISLAND"

BASIS OF PARTICIPATION
The Community of Bardenas Reales, within the acts that it organizes, announces the first edition of the Julián Isla Memorial Short Film Festival contest, according to the following bases:

PARTICIPANTS:
1º.- Any natural person over 12 years of age may participate in the contest and must also prove that they are the authors of the submitted short films and
they own the rights of the same, without any restriction of agencies or companies.
Those who are minors at the time of registration must have the authorization of their parent or legal guardian, and must indicate the data of these in the registration form.
The staff of the Community of Bardenas, or the members of the Jury will not be able to participate in the contest.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE WORKS:
2º.- The short films presented may be recorded with any recording device: mobile phone camera, digital camera, action camera, tablet, camcorder, etc., and then, if desired, be edited with external tools.
3º.- The shorts must be original, and may not have been awarded in previous calls of this contest.
Each short film submitted to the competition must have a title.
4º.- They must have a duration of 2 to 5 minutes, including the credit titles if any, and recorded in HD (720p) or full HD (1080p) quality, the latter being recommended, since the short films will be screened in living room. The final delivery format will be MP4. Each contestant can present a maximum of 3 short films.
In case the short films have a spoken sound, any of the state's languages ​​will be admitted, as long as they have subtitles in Spanish
5º.- The theme of the short film will be about the traditional uses, focusing this year on the GANADERIA and the nature linked to them, in any of its facets, being able to be documentary or fiction genre.

REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES
6º- The shooting and recording of the short films can be done in the term of Bardenas Reales or in that of any of the towns in congozantes. All filming that takes place within the territory of the Bardenas park must comply with the PORN available at the following link:

The works must be done as of the publication of this call.
7º.- The works can be presented through the website www.wetransfer.es using the following email address: congozantes@bardenasreales.es as of the publication of this call and until 24 hours on March 15 of 2,019 (Spanish time).
The term will be non-extendable.
It is necessary to fill out an application for each short submitted and registration will be free.
If the short film has been made by several authors, one of them must be included in the registration application and the name, date of birth and DNI of the other authors of the short film must be indicated in the co-authors section.
The participants will declare to accept the processing of the personal data necessary for the management of the contest.
The Organization recommends that participants not leave the registration for the last moment, due to possible network collapses that could be
produce when a high number of registrations coincide in the last days of the term. The Organization is not responsible for the consequences derived from this fact, admitting exclusively the inscriptions made through
of the form of the web of the contest.

AWARDS
A jury, composed of two representatives of the Permanent Commission and two members of the Muskaria Cineclub, or other renowned film experts, will award the following prizes:
Three main prizes and three accésits reserved for the congozantes participants will be granted, that will have to indicate this condition in the registration form:

Prize amounts include all taxes and legal requirements.
9º.- The prizes can not be cumulative or interchangeable. The prize is unique regardless of the number of authors of the short film.
10º.- The prizes may be deserted if the jury so decides. The ruling of the jury will be unappealable.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONTEST
11º.- All received works that comply with the rules of this call and meet minimum quality requirements and technical conditions, will go to the contest stage.
The jury of the contest will see all the short films admitted to the contest and will issue its decision, awarding the established prizes.
12º.- The decision will be communicated to the winners by telephone, mail, fax or email. By the same means will be informed of the place, day and hour of the public act of delivery of the prize and will be made known through the media.

GENERAL ISSUES
13º.- The Organization of the contest reserves the right to exclude all works whose content is obscene, violent, sexist, racist or violates any fundamental right of the person.
14º.- Contestants are responsible for the absence of rights to third parties for the use of musical pieces in the works presented, or any claim for image rights of the persons appearing in
they, as well as that the submitted short films are not subject to any legal claim and are within the provisions of the intellectual property law, exempting the Organization from any type of responsibility. In the case that an audio track is used with the
recording a sound that is owned by a record company without your permission, it is possible that, for legal reasons, the reproduction of the short on the web is without sound.
15º.- The authors of the works assign to the Community of Bardenas Reales, the exploitation rights of these, consisting of the reproduction and exhibition of the short film within the general framework of this contest, in any of its editions, as well as for the purposes of advertising or promotion thereof,
which will always be exercised with the acknowledgment of their status as author, except against.
16º.- Any unforeseen eventuality arising in relation to the development of the contest and not expressly contemplated in these bases will be resolved according to the criteria of the organization. Also, the organization is not responsible for the bad or no receipt of materials.
17º.- The participation in this Contest supposes the full acceptance of its bases.
