Founded in 2010, China International New Media Short Film Festival (hereinafter referred to as “CSFF”) is the only nationally-recognized international short film festival in China, which is hosted by National Radio and Television Administration and Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, and organized by Guangming District People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality and Shenzhen Media Group. The mission and objectives of CSFF are to encourage the creation of outstanding new media short films across the globe, to seek and support young film and television talents, to incubate high-quality film and television creative projects, to promote the integrated development of Film & Television Industry and New Media Industry, and to enhance cultural communication, exchange, and cooperation internationally. The 10th CSFF will be held from 2 December to 8 December 2019 in Shenzhen. Major events of the CSFF include Opening Ceremony, KingBonn Awards Selection, CSFF Outdoor Short Film Screening Carnival, International Short Film Screenings, Short Film Market, College Day and Open Forum. During the CSFF, The KingBonn Awards (Short Film Director Supporting Program) is an important competition of CSFF which aims to discover talents and support the creation of young directors. The Awards are divided into three units: main competition, college student competition and women shorts competition. For each unit, drama, animation and documentary short films will be selected. Shortlisted directors of the program will have an opportunity to raise supporting funds from the CSFF Organizing Committee for their next film project, to sign collaborative contracts in the CSFF Short Film Market, and to gain access to other international resources.

The TRAVEL FILM In Russian international film festival collects the best travel films from around the world, which were created both by professionals and by enthusiasts, and helps to get them across to the Russian speaking audience. In the world there are 162 million people whose native language - Russian. Another 110 million are fluent in Russian. They live not only in Russia and the former republics of the Soviet Union, but also worldwide. All films must be in Russian. Alternatively, have the Russian subtitles (with the exception of all films without words), regardless of the country of production. If you do not know how to translate the subtitles in Russian language, the film can be downloaded in English or with English subtitles in a special category. We will translate all officially selected films from English to Russian FREE OF CHARGE. You just have to give us complete dialogue list. Our festival is held all year round. The provisional results are summed up once per quarter, at the end of the season - winter, spring, and summer. Every autumn the best films are shown on a big screen, and the winners are determined.  The films, which were selected to participate in the festival, will be uploaded to be displayed on our website and in the social networks - as a complete artwork (only with the consent of the author) or as a trailer for the wide view and discussion. We admit only the films about travels, both modern and historical ones. As well as those films, where travel is an important part of the synopsis. All officially selected films will be shown on the big screen during the solemn final ceremony on March 21-22, 2020 in Moscow, Russia and will be able to struggle for the main prize and the title of the "Best travel film in Russian". As well as for the prizes in the standalone nominations.

Cine-Excess is an international film festival and conference devoted to the critical study of global cult film traditions, and has been running annually since 2007. Cine-Excess hosts UK theatrical premieres and exclusive screenings, visiting international filmmakers, a 3 day themed conference and media mentoring sessions for young filmmakers. From 2007 onwards, Cine-Excess has generated a number of ancillary activities which have included a DVD label, a documentary film production arm, and an online film journal. Cine-Excess has a strong tradition of attracting global cult filmmakers as guests to the event, who attend as recipients of the annual Cine-Excess Lifetime Achievement Award. Some of the previous filmmaking guests of honour to have attended Cine-Excess include Catherine Breillat, Roger Corman, Dario Argento, Joe Dante, Vanessa Redgrave, Sergio Martino, Franco Nero, John Landis, Enzo G. Castellari, Brian Yuzna, Ruggero Deodato, Stuart Gordon, Jeff Lieberman and Jake West. Cine-Excess has previously been based in London’s West End and in the city of Brighton, but has been firmly established in the West Midlands since 2016, where it now part of the film festival calendar for the region. The annual event therefore takes place at a number of associated cinemas and screening venues during the duration of the event. In terms of its programming strategy, Cine-Excess hosts a range of UK theatrical premieres and exclusive retrospective screenings from around the world, but with a strong focus on the following global territories: Europe, North America/Canada, Central America, Asia and Australia. The festival also retains a wide definition of cult film that encompasses a broad range of horror cycles, unconventional thrillers, revisionist or hybrid genres (such as science fiction, gangster cinema, dark love dramas or the western), action cycles or fantastic titles that can also be linked to wider national film traditions.

Poppy Jasper Inc. is a non profit that has been promoting film and creativity through its annual film festival The Poppy Jasper International Film Festival for more than 15 years. Based in Gilroy and Morgan Hill, Hollister and San Juan Bautista, it's been affiliated with the historic Granada Theater and has enjoyed strong community support as one of a handful of art festivals in the Gilroy and Morgan Hill region that regularly draws over 3000 people to its 8-day festival. Our mission is to celebrate artistic achievement in film, promote tomorrow’s filmmakers, create a space where filmmakers can learn from each other and industry professionals, and educate youth, adults, seniors and veterans about careers in film and the digital arts. The 2020 Poppy Jasper Film International Film Festival is our 15th annual gathering of filmmakers and film fans in the bucolic southern reaches of Silicon Valley. The Poppy Jasper Film Festival continues to celebrate and support the best and brightest of new and upcoming filmmakers from around the world, along with industry professionals and film fans who want to see the filmmakers’ latest and greatest works. This year, the newly renovated Granada Theater will be the centerpiece of the Gala and Awards Ceremony. While screenings will be at the Morgan Hill Playhouse in Morgan Hill and Capos Theater in Gilroy. These historic buildings are a perfect way to enjoy the art of filmmaking. The festival will occur in April of 2020, and will continue to include feature-length films as well as the entertaining and innovative short films from all over the world. The Poppy Jasper International Film Festival is a project, under the auspices of Poppy Jasper, Inc., a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) Public Benefit Corporation, dedicated to giving filmmakers of all films a venue to showcase their work, participate in workshops, network with fellow filmmakers, and share artistic expression with other creative individuals who seek to express their talent in the form of moving images. Morgan Hill and Gilroy are charming, quaint towns located in southern Santa Clara Valley, approximately 12 miles south of San Jose, and 15 miles inland from the Pacific Coast. Surrounded by the Santa Cruz and the Diablo mountain ranges, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, San Martin, Hollister and San Juan Bautista are home to many fine wineries and restaurants, scenic vistas, and lovely hiking trails, as well as the semi-precious stone, poppy jasper, from which the festival's name is derived. Poppy Jasper is a world-renowned, semi-precious gemstone characterized by red and "poppy-yellow" circles (orbs) on a field of white and/or black. Poppy Jasper is unique to Morgan Hill with The Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC listing the "type locality" for Poppy Jasper as Morgan Hill, California.
