The AmiCorti International Film Festival is organized by the AmiCorti International Film Festival Foundation. Its main contributions are provided by the Piedmont Region, the Municipality of Peveragno, the CRT Foundation and the CRC Foundation. Additional funding is provided by associations and private sponsors.

The 4th Edition of AmiCorti IFF is organized by the Ass. Cultural "AmiCorti International Film Festival" from 13 to 18 June 2022.
The Amicorti IFF aims to promote the knowledge and dissemination of international cinema in all its forms of art, entertainment and industry, in a spirit of freedom and dialogue to contribute to a better knowledge of the history of cinema, in particular to benefit of the young audience.

3. OFFICIAL SELECTION
Only films that meet the following criteria are eligible for selection:
• have been completed after January 1, 2021;
• have not had any form of commercial distribution or dissemination on the Internet;
Following the particular situation generated by the Covid-19 emergency, the Management of AmiCorti International Film Festival reserves the right to also consider films completed before June 20, 2021 as long as they are produced after January 1, 2020, provided that they have not yet had any form of dissemination on the Internet and have not already been presented with negative results during the selection for the 2021 edition of AmiCorti IFF. Each work invited to the official sections of AmiCorti IFF will receive a certificate of participation.

The 4th Edition of AmiCorti IFF is organized by L'Ass. Cultural "AmiCorti International Film Festival" from 13 to 18 June 2022.

The Amicorti IFF aims to promote the knowledge and dissemination of international cinema in all its forms of art, entertainment and industry, in a spirit of freedom and dialogue to contribute to a better knowledge of the history of cinema, in particular to benefit of the young audience.

3. OFFICIAL SELECTION
Only films are admitted to the selection that meet the following criteria:
• have been completed after January 1, 2021;
• have not had any form of commercial distribution or dissemination on the Internet;

3.1 AmiCorti 22
International competition of up to 12 short films. In the AmiCorti section the competitive selection of short films lasts a maximum of 25 minutes,

3.2 Out of Competition
Some significant works of the year are presented Out of Competition, for a maximum of 5 titles, in addition to the films produced as part of AmiCorti a Scuola. Among these, works by established authors who have previously participated in the Amicorti IFF, films in which the spectacular dimension is accompanied by forms of expressive or narrative originality and documentaries.

3.3 PeveCorto / AmiAnimation 22
International competition reserved for a maximum of 5 films, dedicated to animated short films of new aesthetic and expressive trends in world cinema, with particular regard to the beginnings, emerging and not yet fully established authors, minor and lesser-known cinemas, but also works that measure themselves against genres and current production with intentions of innovation and creative originality. In the PeveCorto / AmiAnimation section, the competitive selection of short films lasts a maximum of 15 minutes, chosen on the basis of criteria of quality and linguistic-expressive originality.

3.4 AmiClip 22
International competition reserved for a maximum of 5 films, dedicated to music video clips of world cinema, with particular attention to the beginnings, emerging and not yet fully established authors, minor and lesser-known cinemas, but also works that are measured with genres and current production with intentions of innovation and creative originality. In the AmiClip section, the competitive selection of video clips lasts a maximum of 5 minutes, chosen on the basis of quality and linguistic-expressive originality criteria.

3.5 AmiFilm 22
International competition of up to 7 feature films. In the AmiCorti section, the competitive selection of short films lasts a maximum of 130 minutes.
3.6 Out of Competition
Some significant works of the year are presented Out of Competition, for a maximum of 3 titles, films in which the spectacular dimension is accompanied by forms of expressive or narrative originality and documentaries.



3.7 Peveragno 22
The non-competitive section, but with the possibility of assigning an Audience Award - provides for a selection of works with no restrictions on genre, duration and destination, as long as they do not exceed 90 minutes. It can be part of author and genre, experimental and artist films, up to a maximum of 5 titles, possibly preceded or accompanied by meetings and insights with authors, performers and personalities from the world of art and culture.

3.8 Lorenzo Ambrosino 22
The section hosts a selection of the best ilm films made over the last year by film libraries, cultural institutions and productions from all over the world, committed to the conservation and enhancement of cinematographic heritage for social issues, up to a maximum of 6 titles.


3.9 AmiCortiLive 22
The section provides for the online presentation, in competition, of a maximum of 10 Projects presented by the WinTv AmiCorti International Film Festival platform as a European and / or international premiere. Videos in MPEG, AVC, DJVX and XVID of any length, in high resolution.

5. COLLABORATIVE SECTIONS
5.1 Critics and Authors' Week
Review of up to 9 films independently organized by a commission appointed by the Turin Piedmont Film Commission and the Museo Del Cinema according to its own regulations.

6. JURIES AND awards
The Juries will each operate according to their own regulations; where appropriate, the Director of AmiCorti International Film Festival can assist in their work with an advisory function on matters of regulation and practice.

6.1 AmiCorti IFF 4 ^
An International Jury, composed of a maximum of 11 personalities of cinema and culture from different countries, with the exception of those who collaborated in the creation of the invited works, will assign the following prizes for the short films:
• Strawberry d'Or for Best Film
• Strawberry of Silver - Award for the best direction
• Strawberry Red for the best female interpretation
• Strawberry Red for the best male interpretation
• Special Jury Prize
• Best Screenplay Award
• Turin Piedmont Film Commission Award to a young emerging actor or actress.
The possibility of assigning ex aequo is excluded.
Furthermore, the same film can only receive one of the prizes provided for by the Regulations. Exceptionally and in one case only, after hearing the opinion of the Director of AmiCorti IFF, the Jury may also award an actor or actress in a film awarded the Prize for best director, the Special Jury Prize and the Best Screenplay Prize. The aforementioned exemption can only be applied once during the award ceremony.

6.2 PeveCorto / AmiAnimation 22
A Student Jury, composed of a maximum of 15 Students from different Italian Regions, with the exception of those who collaborated in the creation of the invited works, will assign - without the possibility of ex-aequo - the prizes:
• Achenio d'Oro for the best film
• Strawberry Animated for the best direction
• PeveCorto / AmiAnimation 22 Special Jury Prize

6.3 AmiClip
An International Jury, composed of a maximum of 3 leading exponents of the world of music from different countries, with the exclusion of those involved in any form in the creation and distribution of the works invited in competition, will award the following prizes without the possibility of ex-aequo :
Achenio d'Oro Award of the Jury for the best Video Clip

6.4 AmiFilm 22
All the feature films present in the competitive section of AmiCorti IFF (Collaborative Sections) compete for the award of the Golden Strawberry.
An International Jury composed of a maximum of 5 personalities of cinema and culture from different countries, including a producer, will assign without the possibility of ex-aequo:
Strawberry d'Oro for Best Film.
Achenio d'Oro will be awarded for Best Direction.


6.5 Peveragno 22
A jury composed of a maximum of 30 cinephiles, and students of cinema courses of Italian universities, chaired by a personality of cinema and culture, will assign, without the possibility of ex-aequo, the Peveragno 22 Prize for the best film. author.



6.6 AmiCortiLive 22
A Popular Jury, chaired by the artistic director of Thessaloniki Film Festival, with the exclusion of those involved in any form in the creation and distribution of the works invited in competition, will assign:
The prize of 1000 (one thousand) € uro, without the possibility of ex-aequo for the most voted film.


6.7 Lorenzo Ambrosino 22
In the hosting section the Artistic Director will assign
The prize of €. 500 to the best film made for the social theme.

6.7 Golden Scroll for Lifetime Achievement
The Director proposes to the Chairman and the Board of Directors the assignment up to a maximum of:
Two Golden Scrolls for Lifetime Achievement: the first, awarded to one or a director (or a highly professional figure) for the contribution offered by his entire work to the development of the cinematographic art;
the second to a singer or a singer who has been able to best interpret the expressive needs of the music for which they have worked, while making a personal aesthetic, symbolic and authorial contribution to the art of music.


7. SELECTION OF WORKS

7.1 Opening and closing of registrations
The registration of films to the selection for the 4th Edition of AmiCorti International Film Festival opens on 25 September and closes on 15 March 2022. For AmiCorti Live works, the deadline for registration is instead set on 10 February 2022.

7.2 Conditions for admission to the selection
All the works presented must be of recent production, completed by January 31, 2022, and must follow the instructions of the section concerned, not even as a work-in-progress, for the selections of previous editions of AmiCorti IFF.
Following the particular situation generated by the Covid-19 emergency, the Management of AmiCorti International Film Festival reserves the right to also consider films completed before June 20, 2020 as long as they are produced after June 21, 2019, provided that they have not yet had any form of dissemination on the Internet and have not already been presented with negative results at the selection for the 2021 edition of AmiCorti IFF. Each work invited to the official sections of AmiCorti IFF will receive a certificate of participation.
The directors of the first or second works (feature films, short films and video clips) are invited to provide information relating to their curriculum vitae in the manner defined by the online submission, for exclusive research and documentation purposes.
Possible exceptions to these conditions may be decided at the sole discretion of the Director.

7.3 Allowed formats
For films officially invited to the Amicorti IFF, the only formats allowed for screening are the following:
• Videos in MPEG, AVC, DJVX and XVID formats of any length, in high resolution, are allowed. For (any other formats must be discussed in advance with the Management of AmiCorti IFF).

7.4 Selection methods
As regards the selection of the proposed works, the Director of AmiCorti IFF will be assisted by a staff of experts as well as by a group of international correspondents and consultants, competent for geographical areas. The preselection committee will record each decision.

7.5 Registration rights
For each film entered in the selection of AmiCorti IFF, the payment of a registration fee for administrative rights is required, equal to 20 euros for feature films and AmiCorti Live projects, and equal to 15 euros for short films and video clips. For films that register from February 28, 2022, the fees will be respectively € 30 for feature films and € 25 for short films. For AmiCorti Live projects, the registration fee will be 40 euros for projects that register from 11 February 2022.
As regards film schools and distributions, the registration fees for the short films presented will be 100 euros for a maximum of 10 submissions. The request must be sent directly from the distribution and / or school, by contacting the Preselection Committee (selection@amicorti.it) which will evaluate the requirements.
Under no circumstances will the registration fee be refunded.

7.6 Materials to be sent for selection
To be admitted to the selection, by February 28, 2022 for feature films and short films, and by March 15, 2022 for AmiCorti Live projects (in competition and for "Best of AmiCorti Live"), it is necessary:
fill in the PRE-SELECTION FORM (ENTRY-FORM) for feature films and short films;
• fill in the PRE-SELECTION FORM (ENTRY-FORM) for AmiCorti Live;
• pay the registration fee;
• Upload the movie file to our streaming service, exclusively
through the link that will be indicated at the time of registration, or send a copy of the work to the Amicorti IFF (formats allowed for feature films: DCP, DVD, Blu-ray disc; for short films: file upload only). In the case of AmiCorti Live projects, a link must be indicated from which to download the file (the link must be valid at least until March 20, 2022) according to the instructions provided after completing the registration;
• attach information sheet on the director and the film, containing useful information on synopsis, director's notes and production context of the work;
for all films of nationality other than Italian, a copy with subtitles in Italian or english (including films in the original english version) must be sent for selection. AmiCorti Live projects must be in english or in the original language with english / Italian subtitles.

Any information material on the registered work, exclusively in electronic format, must be sent to the address:
selection@amicorti.it.
AmiCorti International Film Festival is not required to return the works sent for selection unless they are sent prepaid via express delivery service (courier or diplomatic suitcase). Any restitution must in any case be requested no later than 10 July 2022. The materials (work-in-progress) and the works which are not requested to be returned can be transferred to the AmiCorti IFF Historical Archive, for the sole purpose of of documentation and study, excluding any commercial use, to protect the interests of authors and producers.

8. INVITED WORKS

8.1 Participation form
The invited films receive an entry form to be returned duly completed by May 15, 2022. The receipt of the form by AmiCorti IFF implies the legal acceptance of the invitation by all recipients, acceptance which is considered definitive and irrevocable.

8.2 Program
The invitation to the work must remain absolutely confidential until the announcement of the program by AmiCorti IFF, under penalty of exclusion from the selection. General programming and screening times are the exclusive responsibility of the AmiCorti IFF Management.

8.3 Copies
The owners of the invited films must send by and no later than 25 May 2022:
• 2 copies in the original version with Italian subtitles (english for Italian films), for the official gala screenings and anticipated for the press. For AmiCorti Live projects any subtitles must
be in english;
• 1 copy in the original version, possibly with subtitles in the language
english, as a backup copy (at the discretion of the presenters);
• 1 DVD or Blu-ray disc in original version with english subtitles a
exclusive use of the internal services of AmiCorti IFF;
• the list of subtitles.
Subtitling costs are in any case borne by the presenters. Only in exceptional cases, which must be authorized in writing by the Director, can the deadline of 25 May 2022 be extended, but if the copies of the film are not received by 30 May 2022, the screenings will be canceled.
The Management reserves the right to refuse copies that, under the control of the AmiCorti IFF technicians, are inadequate for a good public screening and / or alternatively to project them, clarifying the critical issues encountered before viewing to the public.

8.4 Catalog
All the necessary material for the AmiCorti IFF catalog (synopsis, artistic and technical cast, biography and complete filmography of the director, photographs of the director and actors and scenes from the film in b / w and color, a brief comment by the director on the film) must be sent. as soon as possible and in any case no later than April 20, 2022 and must bear the indication "Catalog preparation material".

8.6 Promotional material for the press
The owners of the invited works must send in digital format, by 10 May 2022, the promotional materials (press book, digital images of the film and the director, video material, audio clips, etc.) for distribution to the press and to potential buyers. The advertising and promotional material must strictly carry the indication “Film selected for the 4th AmiCorti International Film Festival.

8.7 Official Logo
Any form of promotion after the announcement of the program by AmiCorti IFF must, by explicit commitment of the presenters, indicate participation in the 4th of AmiCorti IFF with the official logo prepared and provided by AmiCorti International Film Festival. The winning works of an award must also indicate the recognition obtained according to the official graphics prepared and provided by the Amicorti International Film Festival.

9. TRANSPORT AND INSURANCE

9.1 Transport costs
The costs related to the transport of the films from the place of origin to the AmiCorti IFF headquarters and back (including any transport costs from the airport to Peveragno (CN) and all customs operations for arrivals from non-EU countries), are load of presenters.

9.2 Addresses
For films in AmiCorti Live, presenters must contact the Preselection Committee in advance to request shipping instructions (transport@amicorti.it). Copies of DVD and Blu-ray disc films, as well as all selection materials sent by courier or post, must be sent directly to the AmiCorti IFF address:

9.3 Transport of advertising material
The transport costs of any advertising, information and photographic material relating to the films are borne by the presenters, from the place of origin to the headquarters of AmiCorti International Film Festival, including all customs operations for arrivals from non-EU countries The advertising material sent it will not be returned to the Amicorti IFF.

9.4 Transport insurance
The insurance coverage relating to the return transport of films and press material is borne by the presenters.

9.5 Insurance to Amicorti IFF
AmiCorti International Film Festival guarantees insurance coverage against all risks for the period of storage of the films at the AmiCorti IFF. However, the insurance value of the films cannot exceed the laboratory cost of a standard copy. Furthermore, all necessary measures will be taken to protect the copyright of the works entrusted to the Amicorti IFF, in compliance with the provisions of the FIAPF relating to the protection from piracy.

10. COPIES FOR THE ARCHIVE
10.1 Donation to the Historical Archive of Contemporary Arts
The authors and producers of the AmiCorti Live films, short films and projects presented at the AmiCorti IFF are invited to donate a copy of the work, which will be deposited in the Historical Archive of AmiCorti International Film Festival and intended for exclusive study and of documentation, excluding any commercial use to protect the interests of authors and producers.

10.2 Conservation of the works
The copies deposited will be kept at the Amicorti IFF for the sole purpose of documentation and study, excluding any commercial use to protect the interests of the authors and producers.

10.3 Permission to use the AmiCorti Live works in the AmiCortiLive program
The authors and producers of the selected AmiCorti Live projects are invited to grant the AmiCorti International Film Festival the opportunity to present their works for educational purposes in the context of the workshops of the AmiCorti Live program.

11. GENERAL RULES
Participation in the Amicorti International Film Festival implies compliance with these Regulations. It is the responsibility of producers, distributors or other subjects presenting the film to guarantee that they are legitimately authorized to submit the film to the Amicorti IFF.
The Director of AmiCorti International Film Festival has the right to settle all cases not provided for in these Regulations, as well as to derogate from the Regulations in particular and well-motivated cases. For any dispute regarding the interpretation of the individual articles of the Regulation, the original text drawn up in Italian is valid.
