AVFest is an annual activity that is conducted to promote the art and to bring together aficionados, enthusiasts of the art and industry executives, all under one roof. The festival promotes movies and films from upcoming and imminent artists that are looking for a platform to voice out their thoughts and depict them in the form of a movie. The festival welcome individuals who wish to have a good time with their families and loved ones and are seeking for having an artsy, yet fun related day.

There are a number of films and movies that are shown which are of a wide variety of genres. The festival goes through an initial selection process which is curated by a committee. In order to make sure that every one of the submissions are shown, we have a procedure which lets us portray and promote upcoming artists and movies and give them the platform that they truly deserve. The team at AVFest goes through every submission. At
AVFest nothing is more important than promotion of movies and the art and to bring forth quality movies for the public at the festival.

We don’t have just one place where the festival takes place but a number of places. According to the theme that has been selected and according to the movies, the venue is selected.

We believe that the more the merrier and that is why when organizing, we make sure that everyone who wants to attend the festival can do so.

Often artists and filmmakers are present as well. After watching the movie of your choice, you can always meet the artists and tell them about your thoughts and about you opinions about their creation. Since art is all about growing and revamping one self, we hold a meet and greet session for you to interact with artists and everyone from the film fraternity.
AVfest makes sure that the public gets the best visual and audio experience. This is why we make sure that only the best equipment is installed for your pleasure. Only high quality experience you will get at the AVFest.

AVFest has been established for the love of movies and art but at the same time to project the artist talent to recognizable industry executive. Being a non for profit organization, all the money that is received by AVFest is put into use to pay expenses that occur to organize and bring forth the best festival for you. We also have a number of sponsors that themselves are film and movie buffs and want to see the art thrive. Our kind sponsors help us in any way they can and we appreciate their tremendous help. While some help in some specific activities and other is monetary terms. We even host an award show at the end of the festival to appreciate the talented and the gifted film makers that showcase their creations at our festival.

Your participation in AVFest will be govern by the following rules:

1) When you submit an audiovisual work to AVFest you are accepting, without reserve, these rules.

2) The AVFest is a private event for selected participants only. The participation on the AVFest is a privilege.

3) If your audiovisual work is selected to participate in AVFest, you grant us a perpetual, royalty free license to exhibit it in all and any media, throughout the universe, but always in connection with AVFest.

4) If your audiovisual work is selected to participate in AVFest, you’ll be asked to provide marketing material. If provided, those material will be subject to the same terms, conditions and rules as the audiovisual work selected to participate in AVFest.

5) If your audiovisual work is selected to participate in AVFest, you consent that AVFest will use your name, likeness and other reference to promote AVFest.

6) All non-English audiovisual work must have English sub-titles.

7) The audiovisual work may only be submitted through the mechanisms specified in the AVFest call.

8) The maximum and minimum length of the audiovisual work will be specified in the AVFest call.

9) Work in progress will not be considered.

10) You may submit more than one audiovisual work, each will be considered an entry and as such, must be accompanied by its own completed submission form and entry fee.

11) All fees are non-refundable.

12) The selection for AVFest will be made by a Committee.

13) AVFest will communicate with you through email.

14) The categories and its corresponding awards will be specified in the corresponding call.

15) Any person of legal age can participate, excluding those nationals or resident of territory where its participation in AVFest is prohibited or restricted by law.

16) The participant warrants and represents that owns or has the rights to the submit its audiovisual work

17) All music and other copyrighted material used your audiovisual work must be properly licensed.

18) The audiovisual work must be submitted in a format compatible with AVFest equipment. AVFest will not be in the convert or adapt any audiovisual work.

19) Once selected to participate in AVFest the audiovisual work cannot be withdraw.

20) A panel of independent judges will select de winners of each category. 25. The breach in the shipment of the requested material can leave short film out of the competition and there is no refund of the fee paid.

21) Providing false or incorrect information will cause the exclusion of the participant.

22) The participant will indemnify and hold harmless AVFest for any claim or complaint or any nature that may be connected to his/her audiovisual work, participation on AVFest or any other event connected to AVFest.

Participant will repair any damage and will cover any cost suffered by AVFest, including but not limited to legal and attorneys fee.

23) AVFest reserves the right to modify these rules at any moment for any reason.
